I fully understand that homesick blues can strike down on you after quite a long séjour away from home. Don't feel bad about it, see it like a reconnaissance mission: The next time you have a better idea about the areas you want to explore more and that might contain interesting nature/scenery etc. I do that a lot when I'm out photographing birds. Stop at a place I haven't checked out before, just to get an idea if it could be worth a re-visit at another time of year and so on. I could probably have tethered your Husqvarna to the back of my car and dragged you around in Skåne for an entire month to show you things and places you wouldn't have imagined in this flat part of southern Sweden. Like cliffs and caves in Kullaberg, billowing leaves on hills in Söderåsen, Ven, Skanör/Falsterbo and the seals and birdlife there, Österlen and the apple blossoms in late spring, or the unique geographic formation in Vik, that not even Noraly visited while she was in Sweden. [EDIT]: just tidying up me own mess...

There is so much to see everywhere if you know where to look - there is not enough time in the world to see all of it. It was great to see you partly traveling the same way as I and my friend did, and even filling gas at the same gas station! You have shared with us a lot of breathtaking scenery, and most of it from your own Norway. Will the Norden also be your ride on the other side of the earth?
Runa, you could've included a short trip in Germany too. Riding the eastern part of Danish TET, taking the ferry to Germany, then riding the German TET to the Danish border and riding the western part of Danish TET.

It will be a tour of Norway, Sweden and Finland. And then on to the Baltic states and Poland. Then slowly return home to the Netherlands!

Funny how true this is. When I get on the road and feel the wind and freedom I feel so excited. After the first day I really miss my sons and my own bed 😢 maybe one day I will find someone who enjoys adventure riding as much as me and we can do it together 😅 maybe then I won't be so home sick when I get on the road.

I found your channel as I was planning my trip to Nordkapp last northern summer, I found that some parts reminded me a lot of here, especially the south island and Fjordland national park. Interested to hear your thoughts coming the other way around.

I'm pretty sure this was the first video I've watched by you, and it really makes me want to a similar ride on my 2014 V-Strom 650, but not completely alone, as I prefer to share the time with someone as I don't know anyone with a bike who I think would join, I could probably get a friend to join in my car instead, but it wouldn't be anything like riding. I might consider a solo-trip next summer anyway, as I barely got my license last month (and already driven about 2000km) 😆
Very enjoyable series for sure, and just a little jealous of your next adventure to New Zealand. We did 2 weeks through New Zealand in a 4x4 several years ago and loved it. Doing it on a motorcycle would be fantastic. Thanks G.
Aawwwwwww 😉 only kidding, good decision as if you were to continue you would not have enjoyed the last bit so much and would've ended up 'rushing' it a bit. Most have done something similar. I think most viewers will tho' have enjoyed you showing us your country the most as, not many people have made so many videos on the parts you took us to. Probably because most are on a tighter time plan to fit into a 2-3week holiday. For this we are grateful, and thro' this I would predict that Norway will see more motorcyclists going off the 'tourist' routes, spreading the touristic load so to speak. Again thank you for the 'guided tour'. See you in New Zealand young lady 😉
Warm? Need fresh air in your face? Try a flip-up helmet with internal sunscreen. Adventure helmets may look cool/“right”, but there’s nothing like riding with an open lid on those warm days. For me comfort trumps fashion… 😎
Ah, sounds familiar... I call this the "hard disk full error". Brain has seen so much pretty stuff, it can hardly process any more, regardless how beautiful the scenery is. With that, the energy flow from all that excitement also dries up and no longer makes up for the energy taken by all that camping and making a new home for the night, every night. And suddenly HOME beckons... I guess this is probably completely normal 🙂 I guess you'll be longing for new adventures within a month of being HOME 🙂
Haha, full harddisk, I'll remember that 😃 I'm glad to hear many can relate to this feeling. Hopefully, I'll add some storage space to the harddisk for every adventure 😁
@@OffSheGoesADV Good idea, but gets trickier with age :-) Alternative solution: flush cache regularly. Frequent coffee stops, like you do, but not in the caf but at the side of the road. Bring your portable burner, Bialetti coffeemaker, generous slice of chocolate cake and enjoy the view :-)

I'm pretty sure this was the first video I've watched by you, and it really makes me want to a similar ride on my 2014 V-Strom 650, but not completely alone, as I prefer to share the time with someone
as I don't know anyone with a bike who I think would join, I could probably get a friend to join in my car instead, but it wouldn't be anything like riding. I might consider a solo-trip next summer anyway, as I barely got my license last month (and already driven about 2000km) 😆

We did 2 weeks through New Zealand in a 4x4 several years ago and loved it.

Aawwwwwww 😉 only kidding, good decision as if you were to continue you would not have enjoyed the last bit so much and would've ended up 'rushing' it a bit. Most have done something similar. I think most viewers will tho' have enjoyed you showing us your country the most as, not many people have made so many videos on the parts you took us to. Probably because most are on a tighter time plan to fit into a 2-3week holiday. For this we are grateful, and thro' this I would predict that Norway will see more motorcyclists going off the 'tourist' routes, spreading the touristic load so to speak.

Warm? Need fresh air in your face? Try a flip-up helmet with internal sunscreen. Adventure helmets may look cool/“right”, but there’s nothing like riding with an open lid on those warm days. For me comfort trumps fashion… 😎

Ah, sounds familiar... I call this the "hard disk full error". Brain has seen so much pretty stuff, it can hardly process any more, regardless how beautiful the scenery is. With that, the energy flow from all that excitement also dries up and no longer makes up for the energy taken by all that camping and making a new home for the night, every night. And suddenly HOME beckons...
I guess this is probably completely normal 🙂 I guess you'll be longing for new adventures within a month of being HOME 🙂

@@OffSheGoesADV Good idea, but gets trickier with age :-) Alternative solution: flush cache regularly. Frequent coffee stops, like you do, but not in the caf but at the side of the road. Bring your portable burner, Bialetti coffeemaker, generous slice of chocolate cake and enjoy the view :-)
