- Like and Subscribe. This is one of our recent Cummins Converted VT365 bus. The VT365 got sick. Didn't want to run, Lost Power, and was skipping. The VT365 was pushing excessive crank case pressure "Blow By". What we found was multiple weak cylinders, so we decided to put the Conversion in it.

these engines are short lived.
well this bus we got almost 300,000 miles out of the VT365. We Converted it to Cummins around 283,000. So far this engine has 14,004 miles on it.
@@automotivesboy9904 I have a question. How do you keep track of the mileage on the new engine? Do you reset the odometer? This engine also doesn't sound quite right when its up there in rpms. Maybe its just the transmission.
@@jerrysylvesterjr they reset the miles
Can you do a back seat ride on this one
About the SBCV 3300... How are those on maintenance, and can you do a up front cab view soon like this one of the 3300?
unfortunately, we don't have any of them.
Why does that IC CE with the 6.7 Cummins sound like our 2011 IC CE's with the MaxxForce DT?
I don't quiet know. This bus used to have the VT365 and we put a Cummins in it the previous summer. If you ever ride these types of buses, you'll hear more of the VT365 roar and Cummins roar put together.
@@automotivesboy9904 Yeah because some 2007 models have that engine.
Could u do a back ride version?
How much longer do these converted buses last?
Probably like 10 years longer before needing any major repairs if any.
I think the bus driver got 😷
How much does a conversion cost?
Anywhere around $27,500 or more depending on the application.
Not worth it. Those older CE’s are only worth like $4-10k anyways
But it makes sense tho
well we look at the bus itself. The condition and service life. We can get a few more years out of our ICs than some of our BlueBirds. Our BlueBirds are full of nick picky shit and they always have electrical problems.
