Being of Polish origin myself, I’m learning so much about the history of the country of my ancestors thanks to Chopin’s music and your videos. I recently discovered the universe of Chopin, first through the nocturnes, then other genres and now the polonaises. the richness and majesty of the polonaises, these wonderful works of art, is incredible, truly astounding. i thought the nocturnes were the most beautiful works I had ever heard, but perhaps the polonaises surpass them in beauty and immense meaning. This particular polonaise brought me to tears, I had imagined a different scenario to the funeral of all the polish soldiers and the wife of the general crying at the funeral, but the image that you paint is so real. I’ ve started learning piano myself as I want to learn to play Chopin. His music has truly enriched and changed my life. To me, Chopin is a piece of paradise.
