This piece is absolutely beautiful, my favorite piece by Chopin! It is my dream to be able to play this, I’ve been playing piano everyday for a year now and I hope I can build this technical skill and ability to play it one day. Thanks for uploading.

I was expecting to get a different type of analysis of this piece, but you play it so well that i stayed * listened. This & the ballades are my favorite Chopin works, but this piece in particular, & the end of the 4th ballade are way past my ability. Youre obviously very passionate about this piece & your performance really show cases it. Top notch stuff.

The most erotic and beautiful piece of music ever written, Frederic really put all his heart into it .He was truly an amazing artist and a person of high standards , his character reminds me a lot of my Soviet Russian piano teachers that I had in my childhood .Especially the part from 44:00 to 44:10 expresses a pure sound of love and happiness , like a summertime dream . Frederic expressed what he felt and saw in his life , like any other man he was searching and dreamed for true love .

Beautiful analysis. One of my favourites alongside the 3rd sonata, 1st and 4th ballade. I’d be curious to know what your favourite Chopin pieces are.

Same taste than you guys… 4th ballade, barcarolle, polonaise fantasie, sonata 3, do you agree that late chopin is a bit deeper and sofisticate? There are some early works that could be on the ranking too, like grande polonaise brillante, larguetto and etude 3.. do you agree?

I would prefer a pure musical analysis from the beginning. Example: Chopin begins the piece on a low C# octave - the dominant V chord, correct?

Sorry, these videos were not created for musicians but for music lovers who has no idea what dominant or C# is.....
