Could you tell us the 0-60 of the X300? I recently made a post about this car but the only information I could find said ~6 secs which a lot of people kicked up a fuss about saying it’s nowhere near quick enough - so would love some confirmation on this
Very interesting Damian, cheers! I have some still images of the silver car (I believe it's the same car) at Castle Combe Supercar Test Days from 1990/91ish. Even as a teenager the car blew my mind. Then I spotted a Lotus Carlton....

I seem to remember a Chasseur Stealth variant with intercoolers directly behind the headlights. They had intakes above the headlights. I'll check my archive...
@@ODRModurol I've got a bunch of early volumes of Jaguar World magazine. There's several articles on the Chasseur Stealth, none with the intercooler location I remember. Might have been another tuner. I'll do a more thorough search later.

Well I've done it! I've finally got myself a jag an x300 xj sport 3.2 green and oatmeal 132k on the clock and for only 800 pounds with MOT until October!
Very interesting Damian. I vaguely remember these, but I wasn’t in the target market at the time. The image at 14’34” is of a series 3 XJ and not an XJ40. What did Chasseur do to that model (presumably not quite the same as the Stealth model)? Also, do you know if the Tornado treatment only given to the x300 and as a successor to the XJ40 based Stealth?
Gerard, to be honest Gerard everything I know is shared in the video. No it has pricked my interest and hence the request for information for viewers and owners. Hi Gerard. I currently own both of the Tornados,(there was only 2 X300 450 Tornados built). They really are a beast of a beast. Number 002 spins the wheels at 60mph. Number 001 is still a fast car & still going strong but has higher milage so isn't quite as fast as she should be. But will still wipe the floor with a XJR.
@@gerardbooth40 well, they are actually forsale.. Currently been polished up, photographed & about to be advertised. They are going through a auction at the NEC mid march. 18th,19th & 20th. As soon as I know what day & the advert is live on Silverstone Auctions I will add a link here.

There was a youtube video from an auction centre about 7 months ago I have asked in the message how long hes owned it as it might not have hit its reserve
