That's a hard no from me. Less is more. I've done a LED Projector retrofit into my stock BA headlights but I've done that because when they are off it looks oem. The thing that always made Commodores look awful is the amount of trinkets they just double sided taped onto them, I feel this just does that same thing to the Falcon. Each to their own but certainly won't be adding these to my turbo.
They look like VE Commodore side indicators, and I know exactly what they look like since there are multiple VEs within my family. At first when I saw the thumbnail, I thought these didn't look right for a BA/BF Falcon, but now that I've watched the video they actually don't look as bad.
I agree, I think its awesome to have a company that continues to make after market parts. In saying that, I like the subtlety, streamline and minimal look of the stock indicators. I think these would have looked way better, without the black plastic guard thing that pokes out from the LED.
Great mod, but as a former VE Calais owner the new units look too VE Commodore for my taste. Love to see aftermarket support for these now classic cars.
I think the design itself works well with the car but the actual product is a bit on the chunky side. On the flip side it’s neat that no bodywork mods have to be made to accommodate them.
I like the idea, the sequential looks really smooth and they look well made. I do agree with others that they border on being a bit too big with that black surround, I wonder if it's to hide additional circuitry or if they could make a borderless one. No black borders would be a winner 👌
Surely if it was to hide stuff they could make a version that them on a backplate i.e. put backplate in and connect socket to that, then put top lens on.
if you love them then great, personally its looking more and more like a p-plater car, halo's, aftermarket indiactors, only need eye lids and spray your wheels black and your finished haha, good thing is that these type of mods are easy removable when you change your mind. no harm is done
Look. Car mods are partly taste also. I love your videos and most of your mods so far. But this is by far the yukkiest mod to date. My opinion doesn't matter as long as you love them. Cheers mate!
It is a divisive look. To say the least it does stand out and it will attract attention on the road to your intention to turn, so it’s very good in performing its intended function. I think you should have shown how and whether it messes with the opening of the front door and what sort of clearance you have. I would want at least a 5mm clearance in case the door gets dented for whatever reason and the indicator interferes with its opening.
They look great & look the business! I wish they had them for the Commodores of the era. I went the expensive way & got the front 1/4 panels from a late VZ SS which needed the flutes & the indicators. Painted the panels & installed the indicators.
I reckon they look good but just a bit too big, Im playing with the idea of putting indicators in my side mirrors and bogging up the hole on the guard for a cleaner look....
I like them but agree that it's a matter of personal taste... Either way, it's fantastic that someone is catering for customising Aussie built cars as it's a small market compared to JDM, Euro and US cars!!!👌 I'd support them wherever and whenever I can!👍
What I noticed in this video, besides the sanitary install, was how much metallic that paint has and it's reflectivity, what are you using on the paint and what's went into making it POP!?
I think they look to much like the side of a Holden commodore guard. I have made my own LED side indicators using the stock one and fitting a progressive LED inside of it and then tinting them black.
I think they look very nice, a distinctive style. Once you become accustomed to them they will look as if they were there all the time. One thing though, I hate running blinker lights (unless they are on a 1964 Ford Thunderbird). The straight flash looks much better with the front blinkers. All good fun.
Its a no from me. Too big and bulky... They should have made something similar to the ford focus ones that work in the fgs. But the same shape the original ba/bf. Missed opportunity.
Saw u driving around a while ago anyway my poor au did a bhg/warped head she'll be off the road for a while back to the fg do you reckon those indicators will fit the au?
On this particular unit, the extra 12v positive wire appeared to power the whole flasher. Without it, they didn't work. Considering it had 4 different flash functions, I assume it needs to remain powered to remember those settings.
@@MotoringBoxTV interesting they won't work at all without. But I'd assumed the power was to retain the selected mode. So definitely necessary Just seems tricky getting back to the positive terminal under the bonnet..but it was to be done! Is it 1 remote for both?
How does that remote work Shaun? I'd be interested to see how much current it draws, I think it's always sitting there waiting for a radio signal. Might be something fun to hack ;)
I love the install and the lights functions but I can not love the look as they give the appearance like they were pulled straight out of a ve commodore but I do think if the black honeycomb around the light could be removed and just the light itself was on the panel it would look nicer and flow better the B series falcons do flow extremely well but the black surround just ruins it. But this is just my veiw and it's not my car so realistically my opinion isn't worth jack so if you like them then your thoughts are the only one that matters. But yes it is good too see companies making new stuff for these gems
Just bought some Ozeparts SS fog lights for the VZ Commodore. Genuine are rediculous in cost. Ozeparts producing a comparative quality (I compared the two) at a realistic price.
I have ordered a set from another make and model of car and I’ll hopefully be able to have them fit and they are the same shape as fords. If it works out and I have no issues I’ll leave all the information they are also from ozparts as well
When I saw the Thumbnail it looked liked you just randomly put VE Commodore side indicators on the falcon until you gave the description about them being aftermarket parts for that car.
They look awesome I’ve put LED T10 globes in my pop’s 2002 YG Holden Cruze. Because all of the T10 lights were black and about to blow. The parkers, the number plate lights and side Indicators. Did you know that you can buy LED number plate lights for the Falcons
Not a fan but glad they exist. I think the rear black section needs to be more verticle with the door line but overall it still looks like a commodore blinker.
Hmmm personally not a fan but it good the aftermarket offers people the choice - one of the few cases where factory looks more understated the size is a bit big for me
What a cool product at a great price as well! For me it's not my taste but id love to put them onto a flogged out XT with knackered paint just to run home the whole "lipstick on a pig" aesthetic 😂
Gotta say I'm not a fan. I prefer the factory items myself, But each to their own I guess. That said I do love the fact that there are aftermarket options available for those who wish to go that way with their vehicle.
It's great that they're doing stuff for our cars but those are way too VE-looking. And personally I can't stand sequential indicators in any setting. But at least there's a mode that just has a solid flash lol
I don't mind the idea of the sequential action, but I feel they are pretty big and chunky and don't flow with the lines of the car. If they were slimmed down without the fake black vent around them, they might be less intrusive and flow with the cars looks more. Also, are they UV stabilised, as the vertical sun beating down on them may make them fade and go dull and weathered looking in 12 months time.
Thanks for watching! Like, comment or sub to support the channel.

Personally, I love the stock look. Nice and subdued. Plus the incandescent bulb flash is less harsh.

Agreed...
I came here to say the same thing. Also, Ozeparts does one of these for VE commodores as well.
I agree, I think its awesome to have a company that continues to make after market parts. In saying that, I like the subtlety, streamline and minimal look of the stock indicators.
I think these would have looked way better, without the black plastic guard thing that pokes out from the LED.
i was just about to say this
Yup definitely would've been better smaller and without the fake vent bits
I know another guy said it already but these look like the side indicators on the VE commodore
Great mod, but as a former VE Calais owner the new units look too VE Commodore for my taste. Love to see aftermarket support for these now classic cars.
I notice in the latest Vids these are gone on the Turbo. you seen the light.
I just walked past a VE SV6 and realised that this indicator is almost identical.
I was wondering where my VE fender indicators went...
These look like pretty similar to VE Commodore side indicators. Looks good!
They look to holden for my liking. I'll stick to the stock ones for now. never know it might grow on me down the track
I think the design itself works well with the car but the actual product is a bit on the chunky side. On the flip side it’s neat that no bodywork mods have to be made to accommodate them.
I think the stock indicator lenses look better. I like the halo fog lights
The man who invented the Scrivet only ever put them in, he never took them out…
Haha, or at least didn't try to remove one a few years later.
How many Holden heads were pissing and moaning. 😂. I think they’re pretty cool. 👌🏼
I like the idea, the sequential looks really smooth and they look well made. I do agree with others that they border on being a bit too big with that black surround, I wonder if it's to hide additional circuitry or if they could make a borderless one. No black borders would be a winner 👌

Stock indicators look better. Thanks for showing us different options.

Yep, I love the look of both the side indicators and the halo in the fog lights.
I reckon they look good but just a bit too big, Im playing with the idea of putting indicators in my side mirrors and bogging up the hole on the guard for a cleaner look....
Honestly I don't like the black plastic.
But the long led strip would look nice tbh
Wrapped my standard ones with yellow wrap and they look so much better than white
I like them but agree that it's a matter of personal taste... Either way, it's fantastic that someone is catering for customising Aussie built cars as it's a small market compared to JDM, Euro and US cars!!!👌
I'd support them wherever and whenever I can!👍
There is no way I would want my car to look like a VE commodore
They are slightly out of time with the main indicators and I can't un notice it now lmao
If the black background wasn't there I'd get one for my BA
What I noticed in this video, besides the sanitary install, was how much metallic that paint has and it's reflectivity, what are you using on the paint and what's went into making it POP!?

I gonna throw these on a Geo Tracker, perfect size for the front & rear indicators.
I’d love to get the sliding LED indicator for my VE, not sure how I feel about this on a Falcon but if it makes you happy then go for gold mate!
Is the fuse tap necessary? Doing this with a ve commodore. What happens if the individual positive isn't attached to battery?
On this particular unit, the extra 12v positive wire appeared to power the whole flasher. Without it, they didn't work. Considering it had 4 different flash functions, I assume it needs to remain powered to remember those settings.
@@MotoringBoxTV interesting they won't work at all without. But I'd assumed the power was to retain the selected mode. So definitely necessary

Is it 1 remote for both?
@@RhysBurrows Yes 1 for both - they seemed to change together, so it's not like you need to walk to each side to change it.
Sorry, so why does it need constant 12v? Every other car just plugs into the standard connector
Great idea, but I think they're a little too big, unfortunately.
Keep the BA mate...
When I saw the Thumbnail it looked liked you just randomly put VE Commodore side indicators on the falcon until you gave the description about them being aftermarket parts for that car.
Looks great mate love your video
not my cuppa tea but its good to see the option is there for others to personalize their Falcons!
I don't see why they need a constant 12V source as indictors only work when ignition is on- except for hazard circuit.
acc/igntion would be fine too
Are you sure they sent you the right one? Looks more like a VE repeater than a BA/BF.
They look awesome
I’ve put LED T10 globes in my pop’s 2002 YG Holden Cruze. Because all of the T10 lights were black and about to blow. The parkers, the number plate lights and side Indicators.
Did you know that you can buy LED number plate lights for the Falcons
I reckon they look great. A nice upgrade. 👍
that part dont work too well on those almost too big and it doesnt work with lines of the car.
Looks good mate, you've got a really nice car there, wish I had the money for my own😅, keep up the great content 👍
Look great to me mate, regards Dean from PATREON
Not a fan but glad they exist. I think the rear black section needs to be more verticle with the door line but overall it still looks like a commodore blinker.
again iv'e done the same thing to my 06 fiesta, I really like the progressive style
Hmmm personally not a fan but it good the aftermarket offers people the choice - one of the few cases where factory looks more understated the size is a bit big for me
Thanks for the great video.
What a cool product at a great price as well! For me it's not my taste but id love to put them onto a flogged out XT with knackered paint just to run home the whole "lipstick on a pig" aesthetic 😂
Looks like commordore lights
Hey mate, the after market indicator looks like it's straight off of a VE commodore..
Looks really good
Personally it looks like ve vf ones but awsome video 👌
Not to my taste on the BA/BF- however I think it could work very well, from a stylistic point of view, on an SY2 territory
Gotta say I'm not a fan. I prefer the factory items myself, But each to their own I guess. That said I do love the fact that there are aftermarket options available for those who wish to go that way with their vehicle.
I think they got the ve commodore one mixed up lol.
Looks tacky to me. do an LED conversion to the original ones
Another hard no from me too just because my instant thought was Commodore and thats sacrilege haha
They look ok, I just don't like how the LEDs come on quicker than the normal globes. Makes them look out of sequence.
What is the price of these
Look like the same ones found on the ve commodores. No thanks
Initially I didn’t like the look…but I think it’s growing on me. Agree that it looks like the VE Commondore 😅
Nice smart and safe upgrade
Nick Australia
It's great that they're doing stuff for our cars but those are way too VE-looking. And personally I can't stand sequential indicators in any setting. But at least there's a mode that just has a solid flash lol
If you like them, that's all that matters mate.
All you need now is led nodding dog on the rear parcel shelf and it's complete
Sorry for being facetious..
But they look cheap and Tacky...
Too much VZ for my liking.
These indicators do look like VE copies but they don't really suit the lines of the BA/BF shape... Great video though...
Original look is much better but the Halo headlights look good...
nice
They actually look alright, but in my opinion they should have made them a touch smaller.
That's the normal thing for led indicators that aren't adr'd. Faded.
Ahhhhh looks good up close zoom out to see the whole thing they look to big for me on that car
Not a fan personally. OEM is usually best. The B series guard indicator is subtle. This one looks a bit 'ebay' VE commodore
Each to their own
Neat, but not to my liking. Now a complete LED swap of all lights and indicators might be OK.
Dont rate it, thought the fog lights i was about to make something glad to see there is already something out there!
For me …. No sorry….
It looks like it’s off a Holden
It looks like the indicators are from a ve Commodore
So much easier on the FG simple plug and play
Bro what that’s a VE commodore indicator ahaha
Possibly the worst thing I’ve ever seen put on a car.
That will leek like crazy when it rains or when you wash your car
Should have option for them to scroll forwards 😕
I hate them the original looks a lot better
Sorry Sean it's a no from me, stick out too much
That thing looks too big and stupid. Looks like a Commodore flasher.
A little on the large side for my taste.
I think they are a little big
I prefer the stock ones. They look too much like a commodore indicator
