- I decided to become a Trophy Hunter and platinum every game that I own and now I hate ambulances

I also had a similar experience. I got my first platinum in 2015 with a game called Apotheon and I went into an obsession of trying to platinum everything. I found that it started to really make me not enjoy gaming very much so I had to ease back. I still trophy hunt, but not as maniacally. 8 years later and I have 100% completed 218 trophy lists with many more uncompleted.
Every trophy hunter has had a similar situation with the ambulance part lmao.

Hardly. People would buy the games regardless. And the achievements are totally optional. Also, if anything, people buy less games when they go for full completion because they spend more time playing the games they have.
Just wanted to say this is the pinnacle of underrated content creators. Good editing, storytelling is on point and in general just a good watch I really hope you become popular because this type of content should not go by undeserved of attention. You really do deserve the most out of TH-cam and I hope you succeed in your career because this is genuine content from someone that is heavily underrated

I think you misunderstood me.
He is indeed in a crowded market. He *is* good at editing, he *is* good at making jokes, he *is* tenacious, but so are many others. Hell he's my third such subscription. I can only wish him luck, because that's what it's gonna take.
As for "yeah fat chance" - some games are now impossible to Platinum, no matter how hard you try. If he owns at least one of them and doesn't have one of those trophies already - yeah he can't complete them all.
So uh, yeah, find someone else to pathetically attack for no reason
It's always better to do all available side content before the main missions, that way you can avoid hostile gangs. And Saint Marks is no longer a threat one you unlock Ray's bulletproof patriot.

Im veteran GTA player, played GTA Trilogy original versions for years and I find insulting how grove street games didnt fix the issue with aggressive gangs post story

Omg, i played that game so many times when it came out. For me that platinum was 4/10 difficult, because I did all side missions as soon as they were unlocked. Doing it all after beating the story must have been soooo much pain.

I gotta say this guy is dedicated and deserves more subs, mad respect, I did everything on this game, collectables and all, was at like 88% realized the only thing I missed was the missable missions if you don’t do them in order, I gave up, did the paramedic mission after the game on the second island and it took over 7 hours alone. Mad respect tho

LOL, as an Ex-Trophy Hunter this is very relatable. I still enjoy trophy hunting from time to time, but now it only depends if I am just in the mood or there is a game I enjoy enough that I will trophy hunt.

As someone who did GTA 3 100% completion a few months back on Xbox, I feel your pain as I had to restart the game 3 times before I got everything right lol. Especially with the Paramedic Mission GTA 3 is a struggle.

I got my first Platinum in 2015 which was Until Dawn. I got really addicted to trophy hunting in 2020 during the Pandemic. I am currently at 277 Platinum trophies and hoping to get to 300 by the end of this year. Anyway, I enjoyed hearing your journey @Joelemz! Hapy hunting!

I’ve never gasped at a TH-cam video before than when you hit that guy on level 12😢 I made the same mistake of doing it last but ended up just restarting the whole game. Valiant effort!

Seeing you in ambulance mission for 100 i felt your pain as veteran trophy hunter Bioshock 1 did it for me on survival difficulty i almost quit especially when game crashed and save wouldnt load so yeah congrats and welcome to trophy family happy hunting.🎉

Just saying, if you were to press the button that triggers the side mission for the paramedic in the ambulance, keep holding it and get into a bullet proof vehicle, and then let go of the button, you can now do this mission while in your bullet proof vehicle

I'm a trophy hunter myself... so it bothers me to no end when I get to 98% completion on a game, and the last remaining trophy is utterly impossible. For example, on Dirt Rally 2.0 I've achieved 71 of the 72 trophies..... but the last trophy needed to obtain the plat is beyond ridiculous. From my Google and Reddit research, 99.999999% of people are finding it impossible to get the last trophy on this game. Devs are savages sometimes. 😂

Finish in the top tier of a Daily Challenge Community Event in an Audi Sport Quattro.
It's difficult because:
* There is no restart option.
*Quitting to main menu or retiring from event at any time will count as a DNF, and closing application mid-stage gives you the maximum amount of time for that stage (Either 15 or 30 minutes), while holding your car until the event runs out.
*You do not get to see the exact stage you are driving until you enter the event, however you can see the location and class of car. The leaderboards cannot be viewed until completion of the stage.
It is better to be slightly cautious and smooth with the car than it is to try and set a blistering pace and end up with an irretrievable or terminally damaged car. The bottom tier of the leaderboards are always people who have quit the stage or terminally damaged their car, so you are guaranteed around the second and third tier even with some mistakes.

Rule number one of trophy hunting: always check, double check and triple check missables.
As an achievement/trophy hunter myself, I understand the struggle on a spirtual level about how completing specific challenges that you gotta go out of your way for. Seems like the bigger a game is the more of a grind it is. Thats kinda why I think its best to take achievement/trophy hunting like speedruns in the sense that its probably best if you do it ONLY with games you genuinely love and are okay with the possibility of screwing up and having to start all over again because that love can turn into pure, unadulterated hatred real quick. One of the franchises that fits the mold perfectly is Yakuza/Like A Dragon because as good as the games are, in every single entry theres a bare minimum of 1-2 achievements that if you don't have the paitence, it can keep you from feeling the pride and happiness of seeing "Achievements: 100%" next to it

During my first GTA3 save I was an absolute donkey at driving, so I put off the racing missions untill I was on the 3rd island.
Well turns out the first race goes through Saint Marks 🙃.
I forgot to do the rampage missions on the first island when I was on the second island. Some of the Mafia rampages were impossible. I had to restart the game

I was laughing so much in this video. I feel your pain when you get to part on paramedic missions, I also did all Gta definitive series editions 100%, NEVER again. I struggled on that paramedic thing too like 8 hours straight and got it eventually and pure luck, how terrible that was and pain in the ass, if you do this later on Island 2, it's cruel how Island 1, 3 is impossible if you complete story first then do the side missions. How you supposed to know this and then struggle 100% is so mean. GG anyways, not giving up. I think Gta III 100% completion was the hardest thing ever I did on my gaming career lol.

I did the exact same thing, Miles Morales was surprisingly easy to 100%. I didn't even need to hunt for most of it. I tried doing more on different games at that point too, but it's more time than I have. Respect for sticking through it after that.

I love platinum trophies. I can’t explain it. But I try to also do it in ever game I own. Great video, keep it up.
Vice City is a lot easier. Can't lock yourself out of 100% and less hostile gangs. But requires a lot more things to do to check off.
Here's my tip on doing 100 completion:
1. Do the side quests as soon as you finish 1st mission.
2. Get the collectibles on first island for extra weapons.
3. Paramedic quest can be done anytime, so you should've focused on Paramedic first while Saint Mark wasn't hostile. And because Portland is the smallest city compared to 2 other areas.
4. About side quests, complete every phone mission to avoid getting killed by Leone family.
5. Complete other missions to avoid getting locked from the game.
6. Repeat those 5 steps on every island before completing the main storyline.
And there you go, easy peasy.

I bought a PS4 in late 2019 after skipping out on the PS3 and early PS4 life cycle in favor of the Xbox 360/One and the moment I got my first platinum trophy I got addicted to it lmao. Since the pandemic started, I've had a lot of free time to game and now I currently have 39 platinum trophies. I'm currently aiming for 50 by August or September. Always great to see other people try to platinum hunt as well and it's really fun seeing people struggle lmao.

After watching your video, I reinstalled GTA III, started a new game, as my previous save i was tring to do achievements while hostile with all the gangs. As soon i can free walk in city, I immediately completed the paramedic missions. you gave me the determination to regain momentum.
Same thing happened to me years ago when I 100% GTA 3, I was in the 90 ish percent when I started working on the racing & had to start completely over & do those missions first because those damn mob members blowing up my car. I think that’s why GTA 3 is my favorite game to 100%. My friend went to 100% GTA 3 & I didn’t say a word. Once he got to that mission I had a good laugh but he gave up & to this day he hasn’t 100% it.
I couldn't do the paramedic on the second island and I quit (it really hurts when patients spawn at the gang territory and it means that you wasted 40-60 minutes of nerve-wrecking almost perfect driving). [The first island was too hard for me due to very stingy time limits] You didn't, so huge respect to you, man! :)
I decided to start the game from scratch (after beating Vice City for 100% last year and San Andreas a few days ago) and did the Paramedic on my first try on the first island after doing 100 of the Taxi fares (wanted to get comfortable with driving). Yes, first few levels were nerve-wracking with the time limit, but I got through it. Now I hope I'll 100% rest of the game. Thanks for the inspiration, Joelemz! :D

Oh boy... And I was trying to complete all achievements for the last two weeks or so and today I realized I've missed some missions, which are missable, but required for 100%. I was two missions away from finishing the game, all side stuff complete.

If you're still trophy hunting then welcome to the community, I started my own back when the 360 first dropped and I learned about trophies. My first game was super meat boy that I 100%ed on the 360 it's easy as unlike every where else you only had to beat one world without dying.
But as ps4 and xbox one came out I swapped to playstation and have been trophy hunting ever since.
Earned a sub for the Simpsons Hit N Run music, and also the editing ha-ha!
