I've got a Mateminco FW1 LEP flashlight. Had it for a while now. Yea, it's not practical. BUT it sure is fun to go outside in the dark and just light up the side of a building or something! My LEP is a little bit bigger than the one in this video. I think I might just have to get this flashlight so I can downsize from the one that I have! Great review!!!
The build, design on this has little to fault it's a nice unit to use. The LEP stuff is still of some use, just I wouldn't advise someone to have just this as their only light source! If you were wandering around in darkness in a wood, yes you could use this, but it's not going to be nearly as useful as a "normal" model! One to have in addition to a standard type carry
Yes it's quite a cool torch, though I think for camping the ones you have are more practical. Looking forward to your next video, thanks for dropping in!
I'm thinking search and rescue type stuff, ideal for that or as you say spotting long distance (hunting maybe?). For general use a nice addition, but wouldn't want this as the only one I had in a dark large forest!
I question the reliability of those Chinese torch lights over time. Cheap packaging and components. I wouldn't trade my two Fenix for any of those but maybe someone using jet beam or astrolux for a long time could bef to differ.
Thing is Fenix are made in China, most of the top makers are in China. JetBeam have been around a while, like the others I get on with some models more than others. Nitecore also China
I put distances up on some shots, I did as much as I could allowing for the many hours it takes to make a video. Putting dummies up isn't going to help much, I could use various focal lengths but wide angle shots are going to be almost useless. Certain things just become unrealistic, these products are limited appeal it's just not going to be worthwhile sorry to say. So a compromise has to be made.
@@MrBazReviews I'd buy the Ant-Man but while you could reenter the atmosphere with your titanium heat shield if you drop it from above waist height there's no warranty. Your freakin' baseball cap brim is 6 ft. No confidence in themselves. Movin' on. Good review. Fenix headlamps have 6 ft. Just sayin'. Security for who's walking up on y'all is todays shtick. ¼ mile notice.

Nice one Mr Baz. I've never heard of this type of torch before 👍🍺😎

INTERESTING. NEW TECH TO ME. I WILL HAVE TO INVESTIGATE. LOOKS USEFUL FOR SPOTTING UP LONG DISTANCE TARGETS IN THE DARK.

YES IT DOES AND PERHAPS YOU CAN USE IT AS WELL TO TURN CAPSLOCK OFF
@@thomaslieven8447 I DON'T RELY ON CRUTCHES, THE WAY THAT YOU DO. I USE THE SHIFT KEY, LIKE A MAN DOES.
Wow.. Very cool Torch " nice one Mr BaZ
I have another torch to look at soon, they're drying up in supply but I'll still do some!
Beam 2 concentrated no visibility other than a spot to point with, I'm sure it can be used for something though.. seems very bright
It has limited use, perhaps for long range search/rescue, not an every day type of torch at all. interesting though
Nice beam and design.
I quite like the design of the RT series, just add some markings would be perfect

im glad kitty didnt walk face first into the torch.
I had it high up so they didn't get blinded! They were curious about it they like torches ;-D
So hard to tell distance. Needs a life sized mannequin on a street, driving away at noted distances.
