Bought this bag pattern a month ago while on vacation. This is the first bag and pattern I’ve have attempted to do on my own. My first is a bag maker and she lets me help her from time to teach me the ropes. I was struggling with the interfacing on the straps part until I came across your video. Thank you. All the other tutorials skip the ironing/pressing part and it is so frustrating for a newbie like me! Again thank you! Greatly appreciate your video 😅!

Glad it was helpful! This is one of my favorite bags to make. As Ana extra tip, make sure you do extra reinforcing stitches when attaching the straps on the back. I’d love to see your finished results!

Is the cork machine washable?
Great question Cecilia! Yes, cork is washable. It is waterproof and can withstand the washing machine.
Are you using cotton or polyester thread?
Great question! I always use cotton thread. The brand I, and my machine, like is Mettler silk finish. I use it for everything. :)
