It’s great you talked about the zipper teeth direction. Most videos skip this detail and it is so important to being happy with your final project. I have made a ton of pouches and your video I watch because you generally pick up new ideas. I vote it as one of the top 5. 🇨🇦
I made one and increased the size for what I needed and it turned out GREAT!!! Thanks for sharing the instructions!….I will make more of these in the future.
This was very well made. I made a tablet sleeve but did zipper pockets instead of the big slip one. Turned out great and the seam allowance was spot on. It fits snugly.
Thank you! I have watched this video a few times for clarity, and I agree with folks, you do a great job with this video! I have cut my pieces, got my zipper, but I am adding zipper tabs to mine to avoid zipper issues for me, personally! Thanks again!😊
Excellent video! I am a novice and followed the instructions blindly. It came out so well that nobody could say that it was made by a beginner. My daughter liked it so much that I made a second one for her device with her choice of fabric.I cannot thank you enough.
I made this for my sons iPad yesterday as my first ever sewing project with a zip, interfacing and fleece. I’m so happy with the result. Such a great tutorial. I’m making another one today for my other son and my husband has ordered a laptop sleeve 😂
I LOVE your videos! You get right to the point, and right to the business of sewing. No unnecessary chatter. You explain things very well, and your projects are very pretty and professional looking. Love it!
13:56 I made the bag and it came out beautiful. Thank you so much. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. I appreciate the time you spent making the video.
I watched this yesterday and made a beautiful gift for a friend. I love the design of the front pocket . You explained everything so clearly.Thank you 😊
I did make this and discovered that the front pocket can be reversible. Granted, I eyeballed the scoop and discovered that though my measurements were different, the end process was a happy accident. I'm going to make it again using your exact schematics to see if I get the same results. Thank you again.
This is one of the best tutorials i have ever seen. I would consider myself as an advanced sewer, altough i do most of the things by gut feeling. So there were many informations, that i already knew. But i had so much fun watching this video, simply because it was so well made. If i were a beginner this video would have been perfect for me! It had so many good tipps and tricks, that i had to learn by trial and error. I will definitly watch more videos from you!
Really excellent tutorial. Love that you are precise and on point…no wasted words or steps. Because of this I decided to subscribe and look forward to seeing more!! Thank you for your expertise 🥰
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Jasiah Emilio thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
A very well presented tutorial, and clear and concise instructions. I find some voices are hard to concentrate, but your voice made it easy listening for that I am grateful. Also no annoying music made it a pleasure too. Thank you
This was a wonderful video. I've wanted to make one of these for awhile, and today I finally did. This is the first time I've used your tutorials and I like that you explain things (seam allowance, how to turn the zipper teeth, using steam when ironing, etc) and don't spend time chit chatting:). Unfortunately I'm more comfortable with a larger seam allowance when using the interfacing and fusible fleece ( I like 3/8) so I ended up with a case that's almost too small, due to the upper corners. I also used a fairly thick fabric which also contributed. I can get my laptop in it, but it takes some finagling. I share this for others that also like a little larger seam allowance when sewing bulky seams. Next time I'll cut the fabric a little larger. I'll definitely be using more of your tutorials.
Great tutorial! I’ve just made a sleeve for my MacBook and another for my e-reader I’m expecting in the mail later this week 😍 I’m really happy with how they turned out. Thank you!
Thank you Jessica! I've been looking for a good pattern & tutorial for one of these & I Love Love Love this one!!! It's adorable with your fabric too!! Thanks again.
Awesome video! I was looking for something easy to hold my wireless keyboard that I bring to/from work, and this fits the bill! I plan on quilting the outside for a fun/padded look!
This was a great tutorial! Thank you for sharing. I just completed my tablet holder and am very happy with the results. Would love more beginner friendly tutorials. 😊
Thanks! If you are on Facebook feel free to join our group. There are some free simple projects in the files section that I have also talked about on here!
Excellent tutorial, thank you! It's those dips in the zip that I find annoying, and I will try the zip teeth facing the lining, most say the outside but yours looked great!
Thanks for a wonderfully detailed tutorial. I made 1 but used quilting batting and wow it was so difficult to sew and turn. A suggestion... sewing handles on would make it easier to carry. I put hooks on mine to hang keys and ear pod pouch.
I made this (and another variation) this weekend. This tutorial is FABULOUS! I’m pretty new to sewing and very new to sewing with zippers, and I learned so much with this project! So proud of the result - thank you!
Just made one for my son using some thrift store fabric and leftover quilt batting that I quilted to to the fabric due to not having any fusible fleece on hand. It came out beautifully and I really like the added front pocket. Now to make 2 more as gifts tomorrow. Thank you for making this instructional. Any advice if one wanted to add carry handles?
Lo be your video your commentary was easy to follow and took the scary scary out of the zipper placement. Do you have any videos that include a strap for crossbody ? Thanks
Hi thanks for your videos so easy to follow and understand everything thanks one question can you put zipper tabs or better not the other one is can you use foam instead of fleece hope you can help
You can use zipper tabs or substitute foam if you would like. I made this video as a very simple, beginner friendly project but you can always change it up as you feel necessary!
what lovely fabrics! would love to know where they are from, maybe specifically the black floral:) im looking to buy a tablet for school next autumn and would be in need of a case or protector for the bluetooth keyboard, totally might do this pattern for it^^

Thank you for focusing on the process and not the perfection. This will be made tomorrow. 😊😊😊

Same here...thick fabric and working with cm I probably left a larger seam allowance. Need to find a smaller laptop now 🙂😂
Thank you for the excellent instructions! I made my first zippered case for my Kindle Paperwhite. Ready for my trip!

I absolutely love this bag. I already have the fabric and zipper. Was just waiting to sew it. Now I have the pattern I want. Thank you!!!
I really appreciate this video. I find tablets really ugly and they don't match the decor of my home, but now I can disguise them with these sleeves.
