In Malaysia, we cook sweet porridge with black rice. We call it "karippu kanji". Soak and clean first. Then boil with water, add pandan leaves(knotted), sugar, salt to taste. This has to be in porridge consistency, not dry. When nearing ready to eat, add coconut milk. Stir well and remove from heat.
Namaskarams Mami and Anna. In the ingredients list you forgot to mention varagu arisi. Also mami for 1 cup soaked arisi - 2 cup water and for varagu 1 cup - 3 cups of water you said. So in total I need to add 5 cups of water ??

Can give nutmeg powder 1/4tsp with 5ml milk as we give medicine to 21 months old baby one time ?? If Baby is too cranky even after milk feed though it’s not a stomach trouble ???
