Wow chest 16, I would never noticed you have to leave and come back. Thank you sooo much you literally just helped me get every chest I was missing in the game 🤘
@MrCodeslinger No probs! Found every chest and Fen'Harel altar, thought a trophy would pop but apparently not! Just about to pass point of no return in the game and excited to see how it ends!
The building with the mist for Chest 13 only appears during the initial companion quest w/ Emmrich and was gone after that on the PS5. I've gone back several times making sure to bring Emmrich with and no building anymore :(
I did a new playthrough up to this point and confirmed on PC as well. I've played around with it a bit and that seems VERY "bug-like" to me. Hopefully Bioware will sort this one out. It doesn't seem like you're just missing something obvious after the fact that will get you back up there or make the entrance reappear.
@@MrCodeslinger The one thing that seems to matter that I haven't double checked is wether you take the portal up; if you do, it disappears on relaod but if you don't, it stays. Again, this isn't confirmed but did cause a difference in my two playthroughs.
I'm at end game and this is the ONLY chest I'm missing everywhere. I can't interact with the chain. i even have Emmerich in my party and nothing. Do you know how to fix this?
Love the video and detail. It's brillant! Curious how you found playing a rogue? I loved the mage gameplay, but think I want to do a second run on rogue, any tip videos you have?
I'm about 35 hours into 3 different playthroughs. Two mage and a rogue. Admittedly I've been dong storyteller on the rogue, so I haven't really been playing it. It was definitely my favorite in Inquisition so it will likely be my next 'real' playthrough. Have to keep so many of these running concurrently to test different scenarios when making the videos. The one BIG thing I'll tell you about switching from the Mage to the Rogue that you'll miss is not having your big death ray to sweep across and destroy all the breakables easily. Doing that is sooo much fun. :)
@igiveyoudispear9975 ...and you did the Haunting quest that only showed up after The Siege of Weisshaupt to kill the guy just north of the quest givers on the way back to the Eluvian?
@@igiveyoudispear9975 Had to boot up the PC for this one, too much typing for the phone lol... So both of these are going to sound dumb, one more so than the other, BUT you're not the only one who's had this happen. Here's what I've been told by others 'may' have worked for them. First, from the Necropolis, port to an entirely separate area of the map, somewhere as far from the Eluvian as possible. Then port back to the central area and WALK north into that area with the damaged stairs that are supposed to be rebuilt and see if that helps. Second, if that doesn't do it, go to the Eluvian itself, interact with it and go back and forth between the Necropolis and any other zone. Try it 6 times in a row. Neither of those sound like they will work, but I sh*t you not I've had different people message me on Discord with similar stories saying something like one of those 'fixed' it for them. Past that, I sure don't know what to tell you. If none of the above works, I'm really sorry that you're running into that. There a more than a few bugs in the game right now. I'm hoping Bioware doesn't do with that did with DA:I and just leave a ton of known issues in the game b/c they've just decided they are done with it. Sorry I couldn't have been more help.
Thank you so much for the 16th chest XD. However, I had to kill a bunch of skeletons in order to activate the clean version of the room. But the tp stays mandatory.
Really appreciate the guide on these. For some reason however, I cannot access Chest 15. I can't interact with the chain, despite having progressed far enough in the game. I even went to the door first, making Rook say "we need a wisp"
Try leaving the Necropolis, going back to the Lighthouse and then returning and going back in there. On a few very rare occasions I've been unable to interact with certain things. Reloading from an earlier save has provided a modicum of success on these occasions as well, however, leaving entirely and returning has worked more often than not. Give that a shot.
Go into the room in front of it and turn on the fountains with a green flame once you get the pattern correctly the last fountain will tip over use Emmrich’s ability and it will give you a wisp
Guess Bioware miscounted with that 17 they show as part of the 100% completion for the zone map. They also forgot about the two in the Dragon room too guess. With the new one you found, that makes 20! They missed counting 3 of them. Those fiends...

I was going mad looking for my last two chests! I read through so many things and you were the only one who had them all and helped me!
Happy to hear the video was presented in such a way that it was helpful. Thanks for watching!

Love all your dragon age videos. Keep them coming.
You had amazing content for Inquisition. I’m so glad you’re back for Veilguard!
Thanks man, great help. I couldn't find some of them and this helped immediately
Fantastic walkthrough!
Thank you for all the videos. It’s a pain in the ass to find all the chests. Dock Town in particular ❤❤
Thank you! That misty door was my last one. The chest didn't even appear on the map until I walked through it :)
Yeah, Bioware be some tricksy Hobbitses. :)
Thanks for the video, it was helpful. I didn’t have the skeleton glitch on chest 16 but maybe it’s because it was actually the last chest for me.
Chest 16 totally worked. Appreciate it

Chest 15. I just used the crossroads mirror to go back and forth. Couldn’t interact with the chest til I used the mirror.
Odd, I normally just port back to the LH and then come back and it goes from being something I can't interact with to something I can.
How do I get access to the ladder for chest 9?
@@SportingJapan check the pinned comment for that one. should sort you out.
@ thank you for the thorough video. This helped a lot with three of my missing chests
For chest 16 the skeletons don’t show up and clear the staircase for me. I’ve done all the quests already.
