I'm loving the game, it's not perfect, but as a life long DA series fan, despite the few nitpicks, it's a fun game, it's just kinda sad how empty some people's lives are, to attack others just because they enjoy things they don't, it's just toxic and really weird
"@Samurai_Stoner 3 days ago I'm betting your parents had these same thoughts 😂" "it's just kinda sad how empty some people's lives are, to attack others just because they enjoy things they don't, it's just toxic and really weird" I agree and I'm glad you acknowledge your mistake.
I don't know how you can tolerate the absolute grape of the Dragon Age mythology and lore. As far as I'm concerned, eternal shame on anyone who made this game happen.
The game isn’t my bag, but for the people whom enjoy it; good on you! I’m glad for you I’m a Patron here to support a trusted creator. I don’t see why anyone would have a problem with games they don’t like being covered and or liked by a creator they sub to. I for one, am incapable of agreeing with anyone on everything. This I don’t understand when people get bent out of shape over not liking something that someone else does. Grow up, be better and let’s get together as a community and support our boy!
Thanks, Sam! I've been really enjoying my playthrough so far, and manages to find at least some of the candlehops and all of the lighthouse bits available to me so far (up to the first balcony, available just after picking up Davrin) but the rest of this should be very helpful!
If you dislike someone because they like Dragon Age you are acting the same as the people who didn’t like Hogwarts Legacy because it didn’t aline with their politics. I get it’s not the game us fans of origins wanted but if people do get it enjoyment out of it then good for them.
i wouldn't like ppl happily playing a game done by the kkk whose admins ban all anti racism groups from commenting. and thus i have my reservations towards this game and the people involved as well. the hogwarts devs and admins didn't tell ppl they need to be "corrected" in their thinknig and outright banned whole communities becasue members of them MIGHT say unsupportive things. it's not the same. and it's not "you're just against trans/homosexual ppl" baldur's gate 3 and cyberpunk 2077 had the option to be anyone and anything and had characters of many self identifications, but the teams weren't a hategroup towards everyone not sewaring an oath to follow transdolf and to destroy all not liek them.
Like I said on most comments it's a good game but not a good dragon age game. Worth the buy in my opinion I still had fun even as a die hard dragon age fan.
@dannyjackon7697 That's fair. I agree. The series has never come close to reaching the heights of Origins characters, story writing, or art direction in the later installments, but this is still a good game. I'm having more fun with it than I did the previous two entries, although DA2 and DAI held more closely to the spirit of the world, in my opinion.
loving the exploration in this game, but i'm far too much of a completionism addict to not double check to see if i've missed something... and i did in fact miss several things in this video, so thanks for the info!
Btw on the mysterious circles in addition to the post credit scene you get something else with them. During the game when you start hearing Elgar'nan and Ghilan'nain through that tree in the cossroads they mention them. Ghil is asking elgar'nan about his dreams and she mentions dreaming about them. She honestly seemed creeped out or worried until Elgar'nan comforted her. Dude Ghilan'nain was creeped out wow
I came across that echo of echo myself just recently and the biggest thing I’m curious about is if we need to talk with ida again after killing it. Cause the voice lines do imply as much so
I am on my third playthrough and there are many details I love and others I don't. But one of the best thing is when I notice new things like notes updating and creating a kind of banter as you progress through the game or areas I completely forgot existed and didn't explore again with new companions.. XD
planning to cover stalker 2? i think there's a lot in bringing all up to speed from the old games, their origins and inspirations, the evan stalker movie (with wendigoon involved) all before even starting with stalker 2 itself
I’ll have to go back and get these circles. I know I have at least 1. I probably missed the Arlathan one as I couldn’t figure out how to get over to that damn island lol
4:45 I was just wandering around & happened upon & defeated Despair Undying. I didn't watch the whole thing (to avoid spoilers), but was there an actual cutscene, or mission giver, to start it that i missed, or it's actually started by just stumbling upon it, as i did?
i very much enjoyed your cyberpunk videos, glad you're making a few on veilguard :D i played all dragon age titles btw and in my mind, the games are different each time.. it is what it is and to me, it was enjoyable.
*SLIGHT SPOILERS* The elusive group we see in the end credits are called The Executors. You first see them mentioned in Inquisition through a Wartable Operation in Orlais. I won't say anymore beyond that so as to not spoil anything. Looking forward to seeing how they write them in going forward. Hopefully, we get a direct confrontation with the Executors in future games.
Ok, those I actually found just because I am a notorious explorer. But I cant find all the skeleton memories in the Necropolis and it is driving me crazy 😅
Guys, don't abandon creators solely because they cover games. If they obviously shill, then of course, that content isn't worth your time. But there's no shilling going on here, just content coverage. I'm as critical of Failguard as anyone, but strict coverage of content isn't the same as IGN or Eurogamer shilling.
