    Hey everybody! Thanks for watching! I'm gonna keep replying to comments as long as this video stays up, so ask away! I _DO_ have a question for y'all: *are there any other cheap or unconventional bikes you'd like to see me review?*

      Hey man got your exhaust it's coming in Friday great install video btw. But also is there any tuning necessary considering there will be that much more airflow?

    • @slow_bike_show
      @slow_bike_show  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrMrbrown862 hey congrats man! No major tuning needed since these engines don't get much air to begin with. With the baffle out I've felt a noticeable power increase. The catch with these Lifan ECUs is I have no idea what they run or any base map to tune with- if you find something let me know!

    • @MrMrbrown862
      @MrMrbrown862 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@slow_bike_show Nice. I'll maybe look into it. I did take out the air intake thingy under the seat and I noticed the engine gets a lot more air. It also sounds better and 1st gear is so much better and it sounds much better at higher RPMs. Seems to take a bit longer to reach higher RPMs as well.

    • @slow_bike_show
      @slow_bike_show  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrMrbrown862 that's the way to do it😁 I had tested 0-60 for it and i went from 13 seconds stock to 9 with the airbox snorkel out and piped. I'm a 220lbs guy so I'll take it haha. When you say it takes longer to get into the higher revs do you mean like it's slower? Interesting

    • @MrMrbrown862
      @MrMrbrown862 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@slow_bike_show Right before I felt like 1st gear got to the higher revs almost instantly, not not so much. What do you mean piped? I just took it out.

    I have the same bike with 4500 miles on it. I just love it. Got it in 2020 for about 2800 with delivery cross country ( I'm in northern Michigan). I agree about the muffler. The shape plus the heat shield stuck out way to far. I just cut the exhaust off of the pipe and installed a slip on that looks quite a bit like yours. I put on a medium sized windshield, some fog lights for more side view closer to the bike ( to look for deer). I installed a rack over the tail light and two 30 mm ammo cans on either side for some dry storage. They look like small hard bags with a little military flare. There are a couple of unused bolt holes in the rear frame you can tie into for mounting. I also used a heat gun to remove the tank decals and body panel pin stripping ( they're just stickers). It looks so clean. I just ordered a 43t rear sprocket to get 10 more miles an hour. It's a Rear Sprocket 428-43T Bolt Fixing (SPKR065) for Lexmoto if anyone is interested. 58mm hub with 90 mm to the four mounting bolt centers. I might reupholster the seat this year as well. It doesn't have a lot of padding if your riding a couple of hundred miles at a time. I think with all of the modifications I'm into the whole thing for around $3300. Absolutely worth the money. I took it for a quick ride last week when it was sunny and 40 degrees. It corners and handles like a dream, even with my big ass and all the weight I've added ( I'm 6'1" and 250#). I've had many people compliment me on it as well. From Harley riders to adventure bike riders. I got mine from Venom Motorsports online if anyone wants one ( or a different model). This is not a paid advertisement 😂

      Nice to hear it can handle the weight, I'm 5'10, 210 wanting to drop 50. Want to add side and rear bags/boxes. The rear sprocket mod sounds nice, what's the performance after that mod?
      Rode a 50cc and a heavy 150 scooters before, heard this has a great entry bike but never rode something with a manual shift before.

      1. when you changed the rear sprocket, did you stick to stock chain?
      2. Can you provide a link to the rack you used to install on the bike?
      3. Can you provide a link to the bag you used ?

    Nice, been looking to get a cycle and heard this is a great beginner bike. I had a 50cc Vento Zip r3i and a heavy 150cc hard top convertible Diamo Velux 150 back in the day. My issue would be shifting.
    If I would get one, is to change the exhaust for more performance, a electronic start/off/alarm module my 2 scooters came with, a center kickstand, saddle and rear trunk, maybe change out the 4 turning lights.

      I find this bike very comfortable. positioning is very upright with the ability to full tuck as well without being in an awful position. wouldn't wanna stay in that spot, but it's nice in short spurts. I'm 6'4", with a 34" inseam. I do touch the ground a little too flat footed for my liking but it's not too bad.

    So apparently, there is a “snorkel” type of plastic piece that sits above the air intake, and simply removing that plastic piece increases mid-range and top speed considerably. Have you ever messed with this? I’m curious. Apparently it’s right under the seat

      I sure have! You **really** feel the difference with a free flow exhaust as well, but running both let's me cruise easily at 65 and I **could** go past 80 if I hated the motor lol. Only problem is the bike runs a little leaner doing this, and would really benefit from a tune.
      I've yet to see someone make a proper tune for this bike but definitely play around with the snorkel delete, I found my 0-60 time went from 15 seconds average (I'm a fatty lol) to as low as 9!

    • @slow_bike_show
      @slow_bike_show  ปีที่แล้ว

      In stock configuration, no. After throwing an exhaust and/OR at the very least removing the snorkel in the airbox, absolutely. Lifan engines are good but definitely don't breath well from the factory. On mine, 65 wasn't as comfy as a 1200cc cruiser, but absolutely doable for long periods of time. I rode like that for a good 140 miles during my weekend commute to uni with no issue :)
      Main problem is that the bike is geared pretty short so that you hit redline at 75mph. Going up a tooth in the front makes it way more daily-able especially at speed!
