Sorry about some of the wind noise!! I had to use some older footage since I don't own the kpm but wanted to include it. If you guys hate it enough I'll re-upload with corrected audio!

@TCR Just bought the Lifan Kpm200 cafe racer; you and Bikes&Beards are the two most reliable sources of info for this bike so thank you!

Le Fawn by the way. Fact is they have for years had a factory racing team. I bought a Lifan 200cc dualsport in 2006 from a local dealer who also sold Yahamas as well. It is 2024 and that bike will be ridden again this summer. Regular maintenance is all it has required. Been a very good bike. Wish they would set up dealerships across the country. Guess the problem is dealers would not be able to convince buyers in numbers to keep the lights on.

Theres one for sale in my area I just saw, or atleast its marketed as a 2023 cafe, it caught my attention so I'm probably going to go look at it today. I feel alot better about it now with reaching 70-75 which would be perfect for me and where I live. Rural America the small cities are 30 minutes away. Speed limit is 70 and I dont care for speeding really. So im optimistic, i had a bike about 10 years ago, only had it for 6 months and really want to get back into them

The Benelli Leoncino Trail is one of my dream bikes. Looks so good. Love the little lion on the front fender.

Im in the States with a lifan kpm 200. I love that bike. Hopefully, some of their bigger bikes can work their way here.

I talked with venom motorsports. This bike is on their radar. It's going through the approval process for sale in North America. Should be available for the 2024 model year. I think the logo on the side is supposed to be a stylized version of K-PRO.

Venom should be getting it in May of 2023. Verified with Venom.

I don't think it's gonna be a twin cam, but 4 valves are better than two, a welcome upgrade.

the new KPS is very interesting to me. If they keep it in the $2500 range I think they could have a pretty hot seller. Especially given the current KP200 has proven to be decently reliable and built relatively well.

Too expensive per HP for me. The existing KPM 200 is about $206.19 paid per HP. CHonda bikes don’t become very attractive for what you get past $2k mark. Once you get up into the mid to upper $3Ks you start to introduce competition from existing dealership brands like RE. I still consider RE Asian since they are made in a factory in India but it is a newly built state of the art factory, F9 tested shipped motorcycle oils and found RE with less metal shavings and parts in the shipped motors than even the top three Japanese brands in the US. All the China bikes had the most/worst scores. When you buy a RE you also get a full three years warranty and a full three years emergency break down coverage service. Sure beats the 30 days or 90 days and no dealerships/parts departments of CHondas. Full disclosure I own a CHonda and my cost is $87.11 per HP buying my bike compared to $206.19 spent by the buyer per HP for the current KPM 200 which is more than say the new Hunter 350 which will also come with 3 year warranty and 3 year on road emergency breakdown coverage and dealer and parts network. If the Chinese want to up their game they need to meet the market. They have the niche sub $2k but that’s it atm. For those that don’t do metric 15kw is 20HP. You won’t be doing freeways where Americans drive five to ten miles per hour faster than speed signs say on 20HP.

Hey man I bought a kpm200 and I really really want a different exhaust system. The stock is way too quiet. Do you have any recommendations for either a slip on or full exhaust kit?

Wonder if the head would be compatible with the 200cc on the Lifan Xpect. 🤔
