“He’s a friend from work” is hilarious cuz like, I love how Thor considers his time on earth with the Avengers as “work” as if he’s not devoting his whole life to this cause to save not only his own people but the entire universe.
I love that it insinuates that Thor thinks he has a day job.
that line actually came from a kid through the make-a-wish foundation! “We had a young kid ― a Make-A-Wish kid ― on set that day, and in between the takes I was talking with him and coming back and forth,” Hemsworth said. “And he goes, ‘You know, you should say he’s a friend from work.’” heartbreaking to hear that the kid has already passed on before the movies premiere though :(

It was added because there was a kid visiting the set while they were filming this scene as part of his wish from the Make a Wish Foundation who told Hemsworth he thought it would be funny if he said that, and Hemsworth got permission from the director to improvise the line into the movie.

I mean, think of how powerful she is. What would happen if she were chained up in a place where she's as weak as a human, and everyone around her can travel through time at will, yank her around with a time device with impunity, and can erase things from existence entirely?
The only issue is, Loki got a special turn of events. Odds are, all of her Variants were reset without delay or issue. But I think it would've been interesting to see her go down a similar path that Loki has.

Love how Odin's kids literally represent himself in 3 stages of his own life. Beginning: Hela, conquering everything, Middle: Loki, scheming and using assets to gain power, End: Thor, righteous warrior but also a troubled king. But he fked them all up anyway. Hela was banished, Loki imprisoned and Thor lost his home, and most of his people...Hope Odin went to Hel not Valhalla 😂
I'm pretty sure he went to Valhalla regardless. Which is quite frustrating because it's majorly because of him that Thor, Loki and Hela suffered. Thor lost basically everything he ever loved and had, Loki was an outcast, Hela who rightfully exposed Odin's injustice was the one who also suffered the price. All of Odin's children likely could've gotten along if only Odin wasn't such a sh*tty father.

*Thor, the middle child:* Obvious fav, no explantion needed
*Loki, the baby:* Lied to, used for a political sacrifice, taught to hate his own kind, let go on the Bifrost cuz Odin couldnt say "yes" instead, imprisoned after being mindcontrolled and tortured, so on and so forth
