That's partially why I'm pissed that Loki was killed off early in Infinity War. Like imagine if Loki and Banner had both landed in the Sanctum Santorum and then Loki went with Tony to space cuz he knows the inner workings of Thanos’s army and weaponry cuz of the year he spent with him. Top it off with the fact that Peter (Spiderman) stowed away on the ship to help Tony rescue Dr. Strange, and that now Loki was helping to save him too, that would have been funny and iconic.
The other Asgardians I feel are so used to all the royal shenanigans that it hardly fazes them. They're just like 'yep, thats our prince' when Loki does crazy shit. They were barely surprised that he was pretending to be Odin. I'm sure some of them find him endearing. I love it.
