The lower priced Whites boots new some of the best values in heritage boots. I bought the Perry when they first came out and when Black Friday came around I picked up the Perry hybrid wedge which have become my favorites. My finger hovered over the enter button this last Black Friday with the Perry select but my Perry's are still flawless so I opted for a pair of Origin Bison boots.
Another great quality review, one of the boot reviewers I love to follow and enjoy. Those Whites chore boots are similar to the Timberland 6" Premium boots I notice of. 🥂
Actually, the Springdale has a leather insole. They just build the boot to accommodate the Ortholite insole they send with it. If I’m wearing really thick socks I take the Ortholite out and stand on the leather. I also took them out and stood on the leather insole to break them in quicker.
I’d have to say out of my collection of 40 pair, Whites Semi dress are my favorites. Brown Dress leather and even double midsole which have broken in superbly. Amazing boots.
Thanks Dale..!! as much as I love all your video content,, I'm a PNW fiend first and foremost,, so I was really psyched to see this title lol couldn't click fast enough! : ) I love my Ranchers,, always a joy to wear.. and my dad has taken a liking to the Springdale.., I finally got him to put a foot in the PNW doorway hah,, he said it's already helped his back and posture .. at first he wouldn't wear them.., now its the only footwear he uses! hope all has been well for ya ✌ i think its an oil tanned chrome tan., I know the rest of the Double Shot line is Chrome tan.. i think the vast majority of what Seidel does is chrome tan.. if not all.., but then,, they do Domaine.. and im almost positive that's veg tan., so there is that.. also,, I think Tobacco Stampede is technically the same leather type that Thorogood uses for their Moc Toe.. only theirs is tumbled.. i know Seidel provides it and im pretty sure they also call it Tobacco Stampede.. and im positive its oil-tanned.. pretty sure chrome tanned
I have whites perry in new copper leather with nicks full insole of deltaarch to change the ortholite. Perfect combo with nice arch ! In my case sizing is spot on nicks 11.5 insole and 11d whites perry
Correct me if I’m wrong but the while both are Whites stitchdown the 350 Original is hand welted while the C350 is machine welted. I personally can’t tell the difference in feel and both seem nuclear bomb proof. So the C350’s represent another $$ saving point.
Yes the stitching for the stitch down is machine stitched on the C350 while the Regular is Hand stitched. Other than that are identical and I honestly would not be worried about the stitching on the C350. It is a chonk of a boot and I live it
I actually have considered wanting to try whites on more than one occasion (especially that time I found a basically new black 350 cruiser in my size on grailed for 350 dollars), but I keep hearing people online complaining about their QC of which I have no idea if it's people being mad about one wonky stitch or are people actually getting a lot of lemons. That said, I'm still waiting to dip my toes into PNW boots.
I have 9 pairs of Whites now, and strangely the Springdale is the only one that I have difficulty fitting. I wear an 8.5D in everything Whites but I could have used an E width for the Springdale. Maybe it’s the sprung toe? It’s just a little too tight. After wearing the Tobacco Stampede versions, I’ve realized it is quite different from the other Seidel leathers. I’ve been trashing my Chore Boots and so far they’ve been terrific. I only have one pair of 350 Originals, so I tend to baby them a little more. Not that they’re built for babying. The Seidel leather in everything has been beautiful, but one of my Perry Selects in Tobacco has some pretty hideous loose grain. Doesn’t affect the wear or durability, but it’s a case study of White’s CS. Maybe I’m just used to Grant Stone’s impeccable fit and finish.
Also, for the sake of the nerds, I think both the Springdale and Chore have synthetic or leather board counters which is unusual for Whites. Also, I will say while I poo poo the Ortholite liners, my Perry Selects might be my most comfortable boots ever. They’re my lazy boots for when I just need something easy to wear. They still have tons of leather under the soles so I’m not too worried about durability. Ortholites are easy to replace once they’re worn to tatters.
They’re clastic just like the Fulton Moc toe. I will say that they are a much higher quality celastic than what you find in cheaper boots. I’ve had my Fulton Moc toe for over a year and they are holding up very well.
I love White's Boots and my MP Sherman's are my most comfortable pair of service boots. Ferragamo's... absolutely not. Then again, I'm not a sockless loafer guy.

I have been looking at the Distress Roughout model for a while now. I think they would make a great general knock around boot.
The springsale us such an underrated boot! Its such a good last.
Let's hear more about that trip to Spokane - "not my fondest memory"🤣

Please tell me that you're not really a flat earther. Please.
I’m definitely not 😂 just joking around!
OK good. Back to our original programming. 😂
It is flat though.
The Earth is flat

Like a pancake 😂
