I’m all forward with the reuniting with each other because NBC can broadcast more NBA games than ESPN/ABC has done throughout their tenure. It was a cool team.
      I love Larry Bird.
But if Reggie Miller gets called for an offensive foul like he technically should have in like Game 4 or whenever, this would have been a 5 or at most 6 game series.
Miller hits an exciting 3 to win that game to ties the series 2-2, but he had to shove Jordan with 2 arms extended to get open -
You can't even do that in FOOTBALL nowadays without offensive pass INT - let alone basketball (which is not the contact sport football is).
In the NFL, if a receiver or tight end takes one hand (not even 2) and shoves the defender away with a fully extended arm, that's Pass INT on the offense.
But hey, that made the series more exciting and dramatic.

That jump ball with 6 minutes left was the difference in the game. Cause at the time the Pacers had all the momentum. After the Bulls won the jump ball and Kerr hit a 3 the Bulls put them away. Who knows what would have happened if Smits had tipped the ball out to a Pacer.

Tv negotiations should start after the finals and nba returns to nbc is priceless for us 90s basketball fans. NBC is going to broadcast more game ABC has ever done throughout their tenure. They can not only broadcast the regular season but the playoffs including the conference finals and finals. Tv ratings will go up drastically. Don’t be shocked that the NBA signs with Amazon too because the NFL is there. The league will possibly likely to be having 4 networks in their next tv deal.
      NBC - Sunday
      Amazon - Monday
      ESPN - Wednesday & Friday
      TNT - Thursday
      ABC - Saturday

If only Jordan and the Bulls had gone up against Drexler and the Rockets in a Finals instead of the Jazz twice in a row. That would've been THE matchup of the 90s. But the Pacers deserved to win a title with the lineup they had at this time. Same with the Blazers.

The Rockets were the favorite to go to the Finals in 97 with the acquisition of Barkley but the Jazz exposed them defensively with the pick and roll. Even if the Rockets had gotten passed the Jazz it's not likely they would of beaten the Bulls.
