I’m Jewish and appreciate it. It’s because whether atheist, Jewish, or Christian, we all have access to the soul, which is the source of inspiration. Aswell, although you do not believe in G-d, if one thing is true about Him, it is that he is not a religious man. Thus, all art (no matter the religion in which it was inspired) is universally emotive.
The inspiration for a song doesn’t mean jack shit. People put waaaaaay more into that idea than it deserves. Is it possible for a composer or musician to be inspired by this or that idea, putting them in the headspace required to create a piece? Certainly. But that only matters to the creator. Notes are notes, instruments are instruments. I don’t know of a Christian tuba or a Jewish F#. That being said, music with ideological or religious lyrics (in living languages) are fucking awful, and the propaganda destroys the music.
I'm an atheist, but dear God, this is beautiful.

@@tds2117 I think a piece of literature, art or music can beautiful and a propaganda at the same time. I mean, why not?
The Arts and Sciences transcends barriers
It has got to be the best interpretation of Mozart Requiem's Introitus + Kyrie I've heard so far
Mozart is just so incredible! BRAVO!!!
What I like most in this performance is that the four voices of the choir clearly distinguish themselves, especially the bass.
D'une grande beauté c'est vraiment divin.
One of the best performances of this wonderful piece ... Lovely! just Lovely!
Indeed Vienna has got wonderful voices
Sitting here in America with a glass of Italian liquer and an Italian revolver, just enjoying the music.

A revolver. And requiem ? Careful. Live is worth living.
