It would jist be crazy to be able to go 80 on one woth the factory warrentee because you didnt bkre it out and blow a hole in the bottom of the case of a tiny stressed weak scooter engine. Imagine if this thing could keep up with a klx300 on the road. If you could find a way to cram such a bigger engine in there it might even be faster because its just so small. 125 is great but man dont you think honda could offer one or two models woth greater displacment like they did to the rebel

It's a weekly thing that someone always compliments or asks about my grom. The little kids love them and the older men always tell me it reminds them of when they had the older Honda models back in their day.
The grom is a great second or third bike to have around for quick fun rides around town but personally I wouldn’t recommend it be your only bike I have a HD low rider s and a sportster 48 for my daily riders but when Im just around town I’m always on my grom the bike never fails.

I've been daily riding my Grom work in back but not fair maybe 9 mi a day for the past 1yr in a half have not had any problems but simple stuff like clutch replacement clutch cable replacement other than that I haven't did s*** to it

Got mine on finance, once I pay it off it basically a free bike the amount I'm saving in fuel cost. Iv worked it out, I'd spend over $100 in fuel a fortnight in my car, that's more then the grom repayments. And fuel tank onnthe grom with premium fuel (just because) is like $10 and I can get like 300kms out of a tank.
I got a 22 grom as my first bike and boy is it fun. I love racing down my local 45-50mph roads. It’s not that fast but the grom makes it feel exciting. Also really easy to maneuver and mod
Every time I ride I complements and people stopping to talk about my bike. It’s the perfect backroad bike. Beginner bike and easy comfortable rider. I love mine although I wish it could take me to 65mph. I go reliably 53mph and I’m 200 LB
You can hit that speed with a Lifan lo MINI 150cc and the new ones are fuel injected and are 5 gears also and is just a bit bigger in size and for half the price and it’s a very dependable reliable and faster bike bone stock so if you put an exhaust change the front sprocket and anything else you like and it’ll go even faster, you should check it out I think you would be impressed. The 2025 says there's a model with abs and one without. If you know the advantage or disadvantage to the abs model grom for 2025 please let me know thanks.
I actually rode one of these during my MSF course. Didn’t know how I was going to feel about it at first but by the end of the second day I was having the best time slinging it around lol.
Just picked up my 2022 Grom a couple of weeks ago and I’m in love! It’s so much fun without the stress of being pressured to get on the interstate and hit triple digit speeds and end up killing myself one day. And the Grom handles the twisties no problem!!
I have a 2012 ZX-10R as my only bike, but I’m considering getting a new Grom as a fun, around-town, second bike. My Ninja can hit over 100mph in first gear, but I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Grom and how much fun it is to ride it around town…being so nimble and light.
I have a grom clone that’s a 150 cc it’s called a lifan kp mini 150 and besides it being carburetored I personally think it’s almost a better bike then the grom but Honda does have better service and way more aftermarket support for parts but we use most of the same parts as a crf150f
Check out the series/playlist "the Explanation" that Elyk G Nosnibor has done. He does a great gob of explaining things. I'm at like episode 3 as far as progression. Keeping it up is just a matter of staying on the throttle and braking when needed. Keep at it, you'll get there! I know I'm not giving up💪

I just picked up a 2018 grey/black with only 1,800 miles and the thing is literally one of the funnest bikes I've ridden. I've had a number of rockets, this thing is just plain fun and likely will never get rid of it.
I live in Turkey and this engine is very expensive in our country, I am 21 years old now and I have been dreaming of this engine for a long time. As I am a student it is very difficult to get it.

Ive gone over 150 on all 4 of my 600’s… But the most fun I’ve ever had was still on the grom haha

I'd half to agree 250+ and the grom does it daily. Just so light and nible and leagl hard to get speeding tickets love it.

I love my Grom❤ I'm 52 years old and it reminds me of my old YSR 50 from my younger years. Can't beat the gas mileage either.
I used to ride 600 sports bikes in my 30's. Now i'm 55 my ride is a 2021 grom and it's so much fun.

You should look at the 141cc big bore kit, they go for $160. I can hit 75+mph, just a bolt on and go, definitely worth it.
