I will also be doing Summer Acting Camp... and I want to also do Mystery Dinner Theatre... Make and produce Professional Plays.. I want to get credit for this on my IMDB... but I also want my Acting Students to get credit... My Acting Studio will be professional and produce professional content. How do I do that? ... Also... Does producing TH-cam videos count towards IMDB...or just Stage and TV or Movies counts...? Thank you for your help... and Thank you for this GREAT Video...

I worked very hard on "Silent Tongue" movie back in 1992 and was paid... but did not get anything on my IMDB... Can I update that myself? Do you know how one can do that? I actually discovered that I already have an account here (a colleague with whom I collaborated as a photographer and choreographer added 2 credits I suppose, in 2013). I tried to contact IMDB a few years ago but did not receive any reply (maybe the address was wrong).
FYI - you can actually search by the episode in IMDB and just do an "edit" for that particular episode. (Helpful if you only have music in one episode of a particular series)

Soundtracks are reserved for when there's an official Soundtrack Release that is associated with the TV show or movie. If you're supplying background music, it's likely you're not going to be able to select Soundtrack.

How about doing this for a background actor? I only see the "cast" portion, I just submitted 3 roles and I put myself under cast, but I'm an extra. I want IMDb to recognize me as background and not think I'm doing it as principal cast. How do I ensure it goes under the correct category?

Technically I can't see that qualifying as a soundtrack credit if it wasn't released on an official soundtrack album.
