This is great to know. so do you just cut/strip the plastic cover on both ends and use the exposed wire part to connect the two ends? couldn't quite see if you actually have like a clip on each end. Thank you so much
Unplug the negative cable leave the positive in place and then touch the negative to the positive for one second and then you're the problem will be fixed.
I did it with both terminals off. Left it there for 5 minutes and hooked it back up. My car is now running super smooth. In the future i will add this to a routine maintenance schedule
My Ford came factory-fitted with a bunch of problems. Every day is a voyage of discovery to see what doesn't boot up properly today.🤬🤬🤬. GPS ? Maps ? Radio ? Daytime mode ? / night time ? Somewhere-in-between-time mode ? Can't-be-arsed-displaying- anything mode. Or all of the above?
i want to find out if my car's symptoms could be caused by software glitch/data corruption. Car : 2007 Prius symptoms: early 2018 -- i turned on the car and started pulling out of a parking lot, i heard a high pitched continuous sound coming from the dashboard, kind of. All the warning lights came on. i pulled into the next parking lot. As i was pulling into a parking place, the power steering and power brakes stopped working. no radio, warning lights still on, Then, engine died. called AutoClub the guy put jumper cable on the 12V, i think, i don't know, i couldn't see and am zero mechanical whatever he did was very brief He said try turning it on, it was fine. Next day, took it to toyota agency, they replaced the 12V One year to the month, it happened again, called AutoClub, told rep what happened last time she said 'he probably reset your battery' The guy who came out did similar as the first time and very quickly the car was running. that was March this year. Now, it has recurred several times. One time i picked it up from a mechanic, unrelated issue. i got in the car to turn it on, it had been sitting there in hot sun for a while. it did the same thing. i turned it off, worried, scared. was on my way to an appointment. i turned it on again after shutting it off and it started normal. Next time i was at the bank, got back to the car in the lot, same thing happened. This was a few weeks apart i guess. i had to turn it off and back on about 3-4 times. another time i got in my car in my garage, hadn't been driven in a while. backing out of the garage, same symptoms, high pitched sound, warning lights pulled back in garage, tried turning off and on, no luck called auto club. That guy did not have any idea what i was describing from before. he tried to get it to start by jiggling things under the hood, which was what i told him the others had done. when i tried to start it, on one of those tries it started. it happened last week, turned car on to leave store parking lot, drove a few feet, high pitched sound, warning lights, quickly lost power steering and brakes pulled into another parking space, turned it off and on several times, then called AutoClub. told her the story of history of it. she said she would get someone out there,. but i tried turning it on again and it worked fine, Today, i turned it on in my garage and all the warning lights came on. it doesn't always make the high pitched sound. i turned it off and on about 3 or 4 time, then it worked and i went to the store and came back. it seems to be getting more frequent over the past year and a half. is there any way it can be fixed, like, all better? even though i never touched the negative to the positive, i think that's what the AAA guy did the first time. i wasn't told to recharge the battery. i reviewed my notes (i keep a journal) and saw where the second time, the AAA rep said "he probably reset the battery," and so, i just googled that and found this video. i'm trying to learn what to do. it sounds more complicated than just the radio going out. like a bitter data corruption? any way of getting it uncorrupted?
This video helped me fix my problem in my 2016 Camaro thank you so much!
What problem were you having??
This is great to know. so do you just cut/strip the plastic cover on both ends and use the exposed wire part to connect the two ends? couldn't quite see if you actually have like a clip on each end. Thank you so much
So basically I just take off the negative cable and touch the positive? Or take them both off and then touch them?
Unplug the negative cable leave the positive in place and then touch the negative to the positive for one second and then you're the problem will be fixed.

What about for weird transmission issues after changing battery on Audi q8
My Ford came factory-fitted with a bunch of problems. Every day is a voyage of discovery to see what doesn't boot up properly today.🤬🤬🤬.

i want to find out if my car's symptoms could be caused by software glitch/data corruption.
Car : 2007 Prius
symptoms: early 2018 -- i turned on the car and started pulling out of a parking lot, i heard a high pitched
continuous sound coming from the dashboard, kind of.
All the warning lights came on.
i pulled into the next parking lot. As i was pulling into a parking place,
the power steering and power brakes stopped working.
no radio, warning lights still on,
Then, engine died.
called AutoClub
the guy put jumper cable on the 12V, i think, i don't know, i couldn't see
and am zero mechanical
whatever he did was very brief
He said try turning it on,
it was fine.
Next day, took it to toyota agency, they replaced the 12V
One year to the month, it happened again,
called AutoClub, told rep what happened last time
she said 'he probably reset your battery'
The guy who came out did similar as the first time and very quickly the car was running.
that was March this year.
This was a few weeks apart i guess. i had to turn it off and back on about 3-4 times.
another time i got in my car in my garage, hadn't been driven in a while.
backing out of the garage, same symptoms, high pitched sound, warning lights
pulled back in garage, tried turning off and on, no luck
called auto club.
That guy did not have any idea what i was describing from before.
he tried to get it to start by jiggling things under the hood, which was what i told him the
others had done.
when i tried to start it, on one of those tries it started.
it happened last week, turned car on to leave store parking lot, drove a few feet,
high pitched sound, warning lights, quickly lost power steering and brakes
pulled into another parking space, turned it off and on several times,
then called AutoClub.
told her the story of history of it.
she said she would get someone out there,.
but i tried turning it on again and it worked fine,
Today, i turned it on in my garage and all the warning lights came on.
it doesn't always make the high pitched sound.
i turned it off and on about 3 or 4 time, then it worked and i went to the
store and came back.
it seems to be getting more frequent over the past year and a half.
is there any way it can be fixed, like, all better?
even though i never touched the negative to the positive, i think that's what the AAA guy
did the first time. i wasn't told to recharge the battery.
i reviewed my notes (i keep a journal) and saw where the second time, the AAA rep said
"he probably reset the battery," and so, i just googled that and found this video.
i'm trying to learn what to do.
it sounds more complicated than just the radio going out. like a bitter data corruption?
any way of getting it uncorrupted?
Car battery died so I jumped it. Went to throw it in park..nothing...reverse?...nothing. Global reset did the trick😂
