Just saved me throwing a TV in the trash that my local repair shop said was too expensive too repair. I followed these instructions swapped out the LEDs with some bought on eBay and amazingly my TV works again.
305:- SEK later and a few weeks of delivery (should have read the fine print and ordered from you instead) from china. When I assembled the LED diffuser I notices it was somewhat melted where the Led-strip hade failed on one side of the tv so the result was not perfect (light bleed and slightly dimmer image above) but at least now the old Ps4 got an upgraded screen in the gaming corner. Not to notisable in HDR games non 4k. Great video!!!
Thank you, just fixed my 50" Samsung with this, now to find a diffuser screen to fix the cracked (Before i got it, second hand) but otherwise back in action
Thank you for this video! May I know the exact model of the unit in this video? I have UA43NU7100GXXP. I'm just trying to see if I only need 2 LED bars like the unit in this video? Thanks!
I have a Samsung ue43ru7100k which has a dark left side , still can see the image but 50% dimmer than right side . Is that a led strip or something else?
Replacing the led strips that melted the bottom of the light diffuser on my un43nu6900b samsung. Can I just flip the melted part to the top (has no LED strips at top, only bottom) also the thick light diffuser what side of it goes up? Rough or smooth side? Thanks for any help and info.
First off, thanks for the free instructional content. I have a Samsung tv: UN43TU7000FXZA. I'm trying to do my own maintenance on that aforementioned tv, specifically, I'm planning on removing the debris that got trapped behind the tv screen and possibly some of the layers behind the tv screen, if necessary. Question: How is the UN43TU7000FXZA's screen attached to the tv itself, considering it's marketed by Samsung as a "borderless" tv? Is the screen glued to any degree to the chassis? Any accurate information about such would be greatly appreciated.
@@sitovisionz5361 I was able to gain access to the area of the inside of the tv to remove the debris. I can't remember if the tv's completely debris free, because it's been a while. I did make a positive difference with the debris, from what I remember. I still have and use that tv, and it's in acceptable condition. But after all the work I did to improve it, I wasn't completely satisfied with fixing that particular tv's irritating flaws, which I disappointingly accepted. Basically, I learned how to take that tv mostly apart, with the help of some TH-cam videos and some experimentation, which gave me more confidence to achieve what I wanted to achieve with it, to an extent. But I settled for less than I hoped for with my attempted repair/improvement of that particular tv's irritating picture quality related flaws. Appropriately separating the tv's screen from the tv's chassis in order to gain access to the inner facing side of the tv's screen itself and the diffusing layers that are directly installed behind the tv's screen, was the most pain in the ass part of my attempted repair of that particular tv, because of how that part of that make and model of tv is designed. That's the part of the disassembly that I used a small flat head screwdriver, which slipped and created a small scratch at the bottom edge of the inner facing side of the tv's screen, when I was using that tool to separate the screen from the tv's chassis, appropriately. Fortunately, the scratch is not visible on the outer facing side of the tv screen, when the tv is off, or when using the tv. Other parts of that make and model and similar models of Samsung tv are relatively easy to assemble/disassemble, remove/replace, so taking the tv apart as I did wasn't a completely bad experience. 😀
Okay did everything you said to do in the video but now its worse than before horribke bright spota at the bottom and the resy of thw screwn is super dark. What did i do wrong ive disassembled it and redid it twice and still same proble.
Bonjour je souhaite savoir si il est possible d'enlever les pas de vis pour fixer la tv au mur car pour moi j'ai deux vis que ne peut pas enlever. Si oui comment faire pour les enlever et ou en trouver. Cordialement
Hello I have a 65 Lg 4K smart TV, picture was starting to fade and dis color so I replaced all led strips and now I get no picture at all. I replaced power board and mother board I get sound but no picture, do you have any suggestions or solutions. Thank you I’m advance

I used the video to replace the edge mounted LED. TV is Snap fit. While opening it with screw driver, I cut the flax address cable connected to the Screen. I did not realized till end. LED worked now but TV video does not. I had flash light tested TV before starting this. I could see the video but no light. I will have to throw away TV. Please be careful when you open this TV.
My LED TV has vertical lines that appears on the bottom of the screen intermittently. What could be the problem. This same TV has a sound problem, sometimes the sound breaks up the extend that you can not hear anything after some few minutes the sound would come out clear as usual. This happens at least after five days. What could be the problem? This same TV switches off and on sometimes, at least after five days of functioning normal. What could be the problem?
