REVISITING MY GOALS FOR THE YEAR
Hello friends, in this video I am revisiting my goals for the year that unfortunately many took the back burner as I tried to keep up with the fast pace that this year has brought me. Planning my goals for the remaining of the year feels like a great gateway into feeling a sense of guidance for what is left of this year. As I shared in my previous video, I have been feeling a bit ungrounded and hopeless in the work I share, and I discovered the reason for that, is because I have lost a sense of connection to the work I have been sharing. I have been trying to keep up with the workload I told myself I needed to do, that the work I have been sharing; though it has been with so much love - it has become work as a form of compliance rather than just enjoyment. I am hoping to fall in love again with video creating, illustrating, writing without so much of the pressure I have instilled on myself these last 6 months.

even if not every box has a check by the end of your time limit, just one check is progress!! ✨although i love making lists of things i need to get done and things id like to accomplish, i rarely complete every task on the lists before there's a new list with new tasks to get done. its the organization that helps me on those days when the productive energy hits and it feels good to get tasks completed. youve got this Kim, you deserve a good life!💖 i love what you did with all the goodies! im glad youre enjoying them ✨🖤

Thank you for the encouragement, Gia. And for the reminder that not every box on a checklist has to be checked off. I love a good checklist for the sake of having a “plan.” But I often forget that they don’t have to be checked off for me to feel like my goals and dreams are valid. 🫶🏼
