Hi andy957. The Widex hearing aids contains both Zen tones - which sounds a bit like wind chimes - and broadband noise. Because of this you have a range of different options to choose from: amplification of sound, noise and Zen tones build into one device. Where broad band noise traditionally is used for masking or distraction, Zen tones are also shown to be usefull for relaxation purposes - this is important since Tinnitus is a very stressing disorder.
We have now made english subtitles available for the Widex tinnitus video. We hope they give more hearing aid users opportunity to enjoy Dr. Robert Sweetow addressing the subject of tinnitus.

My tinnitus hurts very much and I'm on major pain meds.
