THANKS! Your remix triggered a long lost memory of this song in my brain. I didn't know who sang it or the song's title, I just remembered listening to the song on my Sony 9-volt transistor radio. AGAIN, THANKS FOR UPLOADING THIS!
👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 Excellent sound,,Your channel brings happiness to all your followers, because you do a great job, and we enjoy everything new you present to us, so please don't forget In the near future all I asked of you all from Elvis Presley(Until it's Time for you to go), John Lennon (Imagine)The Eagles (Hotel California) Stevie Wonder (Master Blaster), Have a nice day!😊
Thanks Mohamed. The songs that you are requesting are already excellent, well balanced stereo recordings. There is nothing I can do to make them sound any better. Don't forget that this channel is all about making mono recordings and badly mixed stereo recordings sound better. So that rules out most of the more modern (mid 1970s onwards) recordings.
Catchy Pop Bliss…root of jangle pop and folk rock. Killer groove. The drums carry the song. Sounds excellent Sir 🎧🥁🎸🍁 P.S. Jackie Deshannon with the help of The Wrecking Crew reached number one in Canada in 1963,with Needles and Pins. .
Shimmering guitars, harmonies and such a great song, co-written by Sonny Bono of Sonny and Cher fame. Like versions by Jackie DeShannon (favourite), Petula Clark, Del Shannon. Searchers were always my favourite group. Fine remix Pat.
@@radiowollaton8521 Yes..., I have heard it 2 days before..., he's not an easy person I believe... he has a great ego and that's why he had had big problems in Munich. but a very good team manager (Mainz, Chelsea)! I am very interesting in the english team since 1966!
The Searchers were a great band, I always thought they were more polished than your average band, of which there were many. Thanks Pat for a great remix
I thought I'd just have a quick listen to this as it never was one of my particular favourites. Should have known better - your quality remix sucked me in and have replayed twice! Really clean and powerful mix and now added to my list.
There have been quite a few songs that I didn't particularly like originally, but once I'd remixed them I changed my mind about them. That's what stereo sound can do to a song !
Oh what a sound ! I replace immediatly your first version, this one is perfect and pleasant on earphones. You're the best, no one will say otherwise😊👍👌In french by Petula Clark - La Nuit N'En Fini Plus (64) 👍
I'm just wondering Gerhard, did the German language versions of the early 1960s English pop songs make the German charts or did the English versions chart instead?
Needles And Pins rested 8 weeks in the German Top Ten charts. The German version is rather insignificant and probably only interesting for collectors. British Invasion ruled the charts. One exception: Komm gib mir deine Hand by The Beatles. But before the British Invasion, there were many successful German cover versions of English and American originals, mostly sung by German musicians.
Hello. Would you happen to have “Torn Between Two Lovers,” by Mary MacGregor and “Stay (I Missed You),” by Lisa Loeb & Nine Stories? Those would sound amazing!

great sound Radio. Did the searchers have 2 lead guitars in the group playing simultaneously or did their sound engineer layer one track on top of another for that 12 string effect? I think hat i hear 2 distinct guitars in your mix. Thanks for your wonderful work.
@@radiowollaton8521 saw your page. Hi Pat, I Have no clue what the tech stuff is all about, I just know that this song sounds great after what you done to it.
Thanks Robert. I'm always on the lookout for songs that have never been released in true stereo. I get the most satisfaction from doing mono to stereo conversions.
One of the most outstanding songs ever recorded. Great post of the Searchers.

Glad you noticed the drums Marc. Most of my time and effort these days goes into getting the drums sounding right.

@@radiowollaton8521 Indeed. Great job.👍👍
The squeak throughout the song is a faulty bass drum peddle. They never edited it out. I like those little imperfections.
It's still there in this mix, but it's not quite as prominent as in the original mix !
Outstanding ! LOVE IT BIG TIME !!!!!!!!
Thanks Frank 👍👍
It's My # 1 All Time Favorite By The Searchers Along With " Each Time " That Has Cool Sounding Guitar Reverb In It

Thank you Monsieur. There was a lot wrong with my first version. So I've deleted it !
Just had a listen to the Petula Clark version. It's excellent. The slower tempo suits the song well !
Super

Great remix, the drums, the separate guitars, the vocals, just perfect. The Searchers have also released a German version, Tausend Nadelstiche.

Sounds great! Suggestion: Now can you do "Hello" by Lee Michaels?
I need a suitable backing track to make a remix. Nothing came up in the search, I'm afraid.

@@radiowollaton8521 Ah, I see. I do know there’s a mono version of “Torn Between Two Lovers” on here. I didn’t really notice a difference in sound.
The song that influenced about 50 folk-rock/pscychedelic bands.
Sure did
Do you have Jackie DeShannon’s orginal?
Yes, but I haven't remixed it.

Written by Sonny Bono, of 'Sonny and Cher'.
Sonny & Jack? Sounds great. Never did before.
It is. Look closely at the artwork, the song has been credited to Nitzsche and Bone 🙂

Cool Pat. Is this version 2 .
It is Dean. I can hardly bear to listen a lot of my early remixes now. I'm replacing the worst sounding ones as soon as possible !
