This remix makes this classic so much better! 1:55 Sounds fabulous considering it was originally recorded on a 2 track machine where 8 track was commonplace! The drums, the guitars, her voice and her doubletracking!. Great thru headphones! 3:02
One of the first 45's I bought when I was 16. Loved it so much .I played it non stop for years. You did a magical job Pat once again. You are incredible!!
🎧👍👍 Incroyable ! Ce mélange est tellement bon qu'il m'a donné envie de manger ma tête ! My word, I wanted to practice my high school French and rave about how good this was but I'd better stick to English! I was going to find your original and compare them this time but this is it. It's a simple lineup of instruments and a perfect blend by you. Well done again, Pat and thank you for doing this one. It's right in close to my best window in time for music. She reminds me a little of Keith Moon.
“she’s got it/ Yeah baby she ‘s got it” has become the defining hook of an era.The track blends guitar riffs alongside the trippy atmospheric touches of Psychedelic rock. The song that kicked my puberty into gear. Excellent Sir Wollaton 🎧☮️🎹🎹🎸🎸🥁🥁🎼🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you. I've been a follower of your channel for some time now. In fact I was planning a remix of The Cowsills - The Rain, Park, & Other Things. And then I heard your remix and decided there was no way I could match that sound quality. Outstanding !
@@radiowollaton8521 - Thank you! I have followed/subscribed to your channel for a while as well. I enjoy your work a lot and you nailed this one beautifully!
O M G... Pat... You sent shivers down my spine and headphone on my head. This is exactly the stereo mix how it always should have been since the release in 1969. How did you ever managed to do this great thing Pat?💥
Dutch jazz quintet with great driving record. Love the guitars and drums and superb vocal. Stereo remix clear with instrumental separation. Grabs you immediately this one Pat. The first line is supposed to be ‘A goddess on a mountain top’ but had a typo and was written and sung as ‘A godness on a mountain top’. The lead singer didn’t have perfect English at the time and sang the word written down. You have to listen closely to spot it.
They were four to record this superb tune in 1969, Mariska Veres (lead vocals), Robbie van Leeuwen (Lead & Rhythm guitar), Klaasje van der Wal (Bass), Cor van der Beek (drums). Rock Quartet is the correct name 😊
@@radiowollaton8521 Just "Shocking Blue", no The! I remember two more Hits very well, Mighty Joe and Never Marry A Railroad Man. Both recorded in mono. Both deserve a high class remix by our digital wizzard.
@@radiowollaton8521 Most of the time, this group is named Shocking Blue, but on albums like the 1971 live in Japan, figure The Shoking blue, even if the presenter announces the band by naming it Shoking Blue. The band is of Dutch origin with the name Shocking Blue, the most appropriate in my opinion. 😊
Thanks Jean. I've never been entirely happy with any of the stereo versions of this song. So I thought I'd have another go it. It seems to be proving popular with all the commentators !
[Instrumental Intro]

A goddess on a mountain top

The summit of beauty and love

Her weapons were her crystal eyes
Making every man mad
Black as the dark night she was
Got what no-one else had
Wow!
[Chorus]
She's got it
Yeah, baby, she's got it
Well, I'm your Venus
I'm your fire, at your desire
Well, I'm your Venus

We don't need the lyrics. This mix makes her vocals well understood.

A blast from the past!~ Especially nice was the guitar break/fill that always reminds me of Who's "Tommy".

You can’t beat the original recording of this one, nice remix pat !
The Shocking Blue version is the only version, as far as I'm concerned !

Can you do a stereo mix of James Brown - It's A Man's Man's Man's World. Thanks

Pat, could you kindly please remix Psychotic Reaction into gorgeous stereo? Thank you in advance.

Didn’t you do this 3 years ago?
I did, but the sound quality was rubbish (as we say in England) There are lots more early remixes that I'm going to replace soon.
