You're adventure is absolutely breathtaking, thank you for sharing your lives with us
I am really impressed with the quality of your editing and filmmaking ability, which I expect will get better with experience... the fact that you are doing this in the field is even more impressive. Very entertaining stuff... but I am pretty sure that you guys are the ones having the most fun on this journey, building a life event... thanks for having us along. Though I do think you need some bumper metal... and leave the fake birds out. 😉 You need to come see the Sonoran Desert before it gets hot, or on your return trip.
Thank you so much!
The recent cinematography and soundtracks have been amazing. Definitely getting "Departures" vibes. This channel is being slept on for sure.
We appreciate it Greg! Thank you.
WOW, that opening background is AMAZING!
Thank you! We found it that way as well.
Great series you got going here! So thrilled to follow your trip and continue to soak up inspiration from you two. Cheers and safe travels.
Thank you Stefan!
They have revived some of the best engineering machines, definitely a beauty!! We are waiting for you in Subirana Yoro Honduras a tour of the coffee mountains of the area and the city of the rain of fish Yoro.
What a great life you both are having. Stay safe
Awesome episode! Your Chinook/home is amazing. You guys make a great team.
A inclino meter Is calling your names!! Be really good for those side hill situations like this.
True!
Super cool! You guys are living the dream! I remember binging your videos before my girlfriend and I moved to the Island. Thanks for the inspiration. Cheers 🍻
It was sunny all day today at home bro😉🤟👌
love the content! It’s so cool that you guys came together on a dream and went all in. Can’t wait to see where your journey takes you!
Alright let's add more stuff.
Great content guys. Keep it up I'm living vicariously through you all the way to Argentina.
I do it out of my 05 4runner but damn y'all got the dream rig
Thanks for posting another great video.I can't wait for your next episode.
Pretty sure I have been to that exact same hot springs near mammoth !! Amazing view and love the video !!
So cool! Thanks of watching
Nice job. Great editing and a beautiful place.
Beautiful video 🙂
Love this Rig and the adventure your on.
EPIC as always my friends.❤
You need to go to Manzanar Internment camp, The Lone Pine movie museum, and Cerro Villa Ghost Town.
That entire area from Ridgecrest to Bridgeport are my favorite places to camp and explore.
Schat's Bakery in Bishop!!! Soo good! Get Monkey Bread, wrap it in foil and heat it up on your stove!!!!
Love the videos. Enjoy your adventure, I wish you so much luck and happiness.
This Content is Truly Top Notch!! 🔥
Thank you!
That was awesome. I want to see more from you two!
6480 yes sir! Not sure how I guessed that exactly, fun suff.
Great video! And great final note..."let's add more stuff!" 😂
Just under 7Klbs!?! That’s rad. Especially loaded up. Our 80 is 5.7Klbs, with just front and rear aftermarket bumpers and WK sliders.
That’s a decent weight for fully loaded mobile home. We always have our Buro loaded weight and height (minus CB Antena) label right on dashboard.
Living the dream... awesomeness galore 😆
You know it!
Awesome video
Digg your rig
We drive a Landcruiser 105 HD FTE chopped and stretched 500mm motorhome placed on the back (see profile pic) (she is heavy). Nothing like puckering when you close to that tipping point.
You know the feeling well! Sweet rig it looks like though
Ever since i knew chinooks existed i dreamed of owning one but with a 4x4 conversion and your build is exactly what i imagined, congrats she is a beauty. Recently me and a buddy were in the same situation with his 4x4 in a uneven angle on a shelf road, i took the wheel and he hanged on to the side steps and grabbed the roof rack to act as counterweight and that made a world of difference, i know the chinook is heavier but maybe sometimes it can help.
Thanks man! Yeah, our parents wouldn’t be too stoked to see us hanging off the side as counter weight in the videos 😂
Great update, I’m quite enjoying the quality of your content. The drone is a great addition. I’m worried for y’all once you cross the border, pick up a Lady of Guadalupe trinket for insurance. Saludos!
THANK YOU
Awesome video guys 😁
Stay blessed
Using axles as weight bars in the backyard paid off for Stace as a professional "house" mover - you know I had to hold my breath there! Have a great time at KOH, wish I was having coffee live with you this morning. Much Love 🤗
Inspirational as always
very cool !! always enjoying the content :)
Glad you enjoy it!
Another great episode 😃 Thanks for the great content!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video guys!
Be careful in the desert, not everyone you run into is a friendly overlander. Their intentions may be far more sinister. Great video.
Plate C
Wow! Those hot springs! What a great experience enjoying those, in that landscape 😍. Only recently found your channel and we’re loving seeing those off the beaten track places you find.. and your drone skills are next level! and the way you describe your experiences just adds to the beauty. We have recently done a lap of Australia- 20 months and 42000kms - (we didn’t see it all by a long shot) You guys should consider it. You’d love it. 😃👍
Thank you so much for watching and commenting! Australia is definitely on our (long) list of adventures!
Love it, more please!
You guys should have gone up to the Cerro Gordo ghost town. Brent has been rebuilding it for the last few years.
We wanted to! It was closed when we were there...
Great trip, looking forward to following along. Be safe and most of all, in the words of the late Warren Zevon" enjoy every sandwich"!
Enjoying the content.
I know that feeling of 'O Crap' drop'd mine in a hole setting me about 25deg over. thought i was done for. but was amazed at how stable it felt.
Landscape description Strip Mined and void of life. Still cool
I love the Mammoth mountain area. It can look like another planet sometimes. Great video guys.
Excellent video as always. I give you both a lot of credit for committing so fully to what you are doing. It takes a lot of guts, but i'm willing to bet you do/will feel it is worth it. Be safe, have fun!
P.S. I was 20lbs off on the weight! lol
Thanks so much Ben! We appreciate the words.
What a different landscape from home! Watching this while finishing coffee and getting ready to mountain bike Mt. Benson (pedal powered wheeling!) Cheers!
Conditions must be 🤌🏼.
Hey guys, audio was only coming through my left side when talking and right side for music . Great content keep it coming
Sorry about that, we tested it on our headphones and it worked fine. Not sure why some are having the issue. Must have to watch on the big screen ;)
come drink some beer in San Diego
Love seeing you guys mob the Chinook
Great video. If you are in TX in May check out The Lone Star Toyota Jambo.
Really beautiful video Guys. The Chinook is so capable. Appreciate the subtitles, useful and interesting. Great vibe.
It's a heavy thought when you realize your lives, and livelihood, are balanced on 4 wheels. When you look out and realize they're balanced on 3 wheels, the shit gets real...real quick. Another great video.
Another awesome video from my favorite TH-cam couple!
Keep up the good work!
Thanks you!
2.94ton. that is way lighter than I'd have thought, I would have thought going off a similar Aussie troop carrier build of around 3.2ton (7100lbs). You've got to be happy with that weight though
You guys should get one of those inclinometer so you can tell how much your rig is tilting then you can judge how far you can go and not go
Agreed!
Love your channel its awesome to watch your beautiful adventures and builds keep on keepin on!!
Use a shovel to redistribute the dirt.
Damn if you threw me in there I would have been dead on I guessed 2999kg! That scenery though! How far you can see compared to here is mind blowing part…makes you feel pretty small!
Absolutely !
awesome video! awesome editing!
Thanks so much!!
Greetings from the foggy but at least not quite frozen south Okanagan, thanks for another video folks. The drone footage really works for me - it shows the scale of the vistas really well and the colors come through. Safe travels until next time.
Greetings! Glad you’re enjoying the footage as much as us. Drone footage is our favourite too.
Very cool rig. Thanks for sharing your journey!!
So rad! Love seeing this dream of yours come to reality and take you to such incredible places!
I dig your guys filming and editing style. Top notch stuff! Cheers!
That's awesome
Just wanted to say I'm super happy I found your channel! Iv been loving the content. And I guessed 6500 pounds at the beginning of the video 😂.
We’re glad you found us too!
I’m so glad you guys found the springs!! The Easter sierras are absolutely amazing. A little further north in Bridgeport there’s a few more but may be out of your way :(
Another awesome video! Keep it up
Thanks! Will do!
If you guys are passing through Moab utah some time I would love to see the Chinook and meet you guy. I am fortunate to visit Alaska every other year and I got to live in Argentina for 2 year so I think what you guys are doing is pretty cool.
I love the Lone Pine area and hope to explore there soon. I am never sure if you have audio problems or if it is intentional. Look forward to more of your adventures. Thanks
👍👍👍👍, fyi it seems in the middle of the video there’s some audio missing.
Yo, we need some links to the audio you guys are picking for your videos. Excellent selection here 👌
its funny how benign obstacles look on camera.. it looked like a pothole until you dropped a wheel over halfway in...
I love the content and think it is amazing! the only thing is when you guys are talking directly to the camera the audio is only coming on from the right ear. This was in the last video as well
We tested it on our headphones and didn't do that for us... Weird.
Wow... I wonder if some of the Martian was filmed there! The "almost roll" must have been so scary 😳 with Stacey trying to push Sunday up 🤗 Wonderful as always ❤️❤️❤️
For the algorithm 👍🏼
TOYOTA ❤👍🏻
For a second I thought you were at the Trona pinnacles just before death valley.
I think you must have been on front part of the cat scale as you only got a steer axle weight.
Our rig is at 1800lbs fully loaded Yikes
Loving the build man 1993 fzj80 factory triple lockers owner here owned it for years sadly got to let it go recently picked up another 4runner the land cruiser is just to expensive to maintain and drive going to be sad letting it go huge shout out from western wa love you guys keep up the amazing content hard work
The Land Cruiser is like purchasing a first home we’ve learned. Thanks for watching!
Excellent content as always. Miss the old intro music. More beer reviews please! Seriously debating to buy a chinook. And import to UK
Exactly my thoughts. We have beer here in Cali too.
More beer reviews coming we promise!
Holy shit! I was guessing 6500. To bad I went over...😉
15:07 😎

Was the road to Cerro Gordo washed out? Ur rig would of been at home up there.
It was closed unfortunately !
Woooooo
Thanks for making these great Videos guys! 🫶🏻
Thanks for watching them!
Love it, what kind of mpg are you getting? Or should I say kilometer per liter🇨🇦
Hey great vids! Really enjoying the adventures vicarioulsy through your vids! Just curious...What do you recommend for camping/overland security? Lots of bad animals and bad people out in the world. Just wondering about what a person can do to make sure they are safe while in the wilderness.
Personally, we don’t recommend any weapons. We recommend preparation and intuition. We don’t find camp at night, and if something or somewhere feels off, it probably is.
You’re so close to Brent up in Cerritos Gordo. Wondering if you know his channel? You guys going to King of Hammers?
His town was closed when we past by :( and yes we are!
I am guessing 5600 before I finish watching 👀 😅 under 6 I think
Hold on did you just allowed a 248 minute commercial before your video!?
Unfortunately we don't get to choose the ads!
Where will you guys be at KOH?
do you have a video of how you got your truck from mexico to south america since there is no road. like to drive mine south and was curious about what you had to do
The put it in a container, our Panama to Colombia video explains it!
@@ToyotaWorldRunners thank you
Did you think about an Off-road Air Suspension like AccuAir
We considered and air set up, but we're really happy with the coil set up we have right now!
What type of budget did you guys have to make this kind of trip happen ?
A lot lighter than I expected. I said at least 8k pounds
Did that weight include beer lol
Probably not lol 6700 with beer haha
I can tell your from Canada.. 😂 you said old ww1 place and I was like whaaat….? America never had anything Happen during ww1 on the mainland. I do wish america didn’t get involved in conflicts we don’t need to be apart of until it affects us like ww1. Lol small tangent… don’t mind me… I love your chinook 😂
