    Another awesome video Matthew and great job on the road repairs. One quick note when I was a young Man I had to replace my head gaskets on my 56 Buick special just south of Ensenada where we were camping in 1979 luckily I always carried extra parts and on this trip the full set of gaskets for my nailhead V8 came in handy. Love both your camera work and editing we didn't have TH-cam on my first trip to baja back in 1969. Safe travels to you and Stacey. ✌️ Out

    About 6 years ago we did the drive from Loreto to San Javier a week after a very bad rain storm. The desert was so in bloom that it was probably the top 5 most beautiful places I had ever seen. There is something magical about San Javier and valley it is in.

    We came back from a short visit out of town and found a new TWR t-shirt in the mailbox and a new video online. As much as I enjoy the outdoor scenery, the tour of the church was mesmerizing. As I thought of those humble people and all of the joy and sadness that had taken place in that building as well as the saved souls and the relief of confession, I caught a shiver at the awesome power of the man-made building and the God it represented.
    Back in the day, I had a 1966 Volvo B10 and the hydraulic clutch went out. The parts were difficult to get and expensive, so I would just shut it off and knock it into neutral to stop and then put in in first and start off in gear when it was time to go. I drove it that way for about a year until someone flagged me down and offered me twice what I had paid for it.
    I know the small contribution of buying a shirt won't help you much, but know my heart is with your travels. Maybe you can buy a couple of cervezas.

    • @ToyotaWorldRunners
      @ToyotaWorldRunners  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Phil it honestly means so much more than the monetary contribution. Your consistent comments are now something we look forward to with every video (now you're stuck with us! haha!).
      We hope the shirt fits well and feels even better!
      And yes, the memories are deeply felt throughout the walls of these old missions. We feel similarly with each one.

    Greetings once more from the suddenly soggy south Okanagan, thanks for another video tour. It's always a bit of a pucker moment changing out parts away from replacements - such as a new plastic fan it decides to shuffle off this mortal coil at present. It's good to see you got both parts changed out successfully though, makes for a feeling of accomplishment I'd think. As always the cinematography is wonderful and views spectacular. Safe travels you two.

    Be glad Toyota did the sensible thing and use 4 bolts for the fan clutch vs that one giant p.i.t.a. nut. a little tip I always do to avoid bench bleeding a master is install it, fill it up, and use the bolt / line nut like a bleeder. I've never had it fail and it's so much easier than bench bleeding..
