10:00 - gathering the cars was a missed opportunity. You really don't need money for *ANYTHING ELSE*. Personally I liked stealing the cars but there was zero reason to do it so.. I didn't. I think perhaps it was in the game simply because in Mafia 1 it was such a big part of the game to steal cars for that one garage
Ive played this game since it's first release and til now I have never realized that the upper area of the map is modeled off the Hollywood hills lol. It's so obvious but since most of it is New York based that detail just never stood out to me what an odd design choice
I've watched all the three mafia videos and I think you should start making video consistently, very great editing, sense of humour, storytelling, detailed analysis. some 30minute long videos felt like seconds. Congrats, don't underestimate yourself
Bro in the end of the video you can actually find expensive cars and sell them in the docks for 2k each u also get an achievement when you take 5 cars there so no need to take you so much time to make money

You called out the absurdity of that part near the end where you gotta grind for cash to pay the loan shark. There is a really atrocious bug that happens when you go and rob stores instead of selling the cars. When you go to turn in the money no cutscenes will trigger. The door has no I reaction options. You are just stuck and have to regress to the beginning of the entire chapter.... That is so unacceptable and that bug was there for years. Idk it might still be actually lol. My solution for this though is one or 2 chapters before this mission even occurs I always rob every store I come across and that way by the time that chapter happens u already have the money saved to basically skip over that grind

you can't sell cars to Derek after you kill him in chapter 14
if you have the jimmy vendetta dlc you get like 30k in the first 3 missions by selling cars lol
not worth buying though if you dont have it kinda just feels like left over sidemissions to the mainstory
