  • We take a pilgrimage to Oxnard CA and visit the Mullin Automotive Museum. Peter Mullin has an impressive collection of vehicles and has a particular passion for those produced in France. Bugatti has a special place in this museum, and not just in automotive form. An impressive array of sculptures, paintings and even furniture produced by members of the Bugatti family are on display. His vehicles and many that belong to other people and organizations rotate through the museum so there is always something new to see. Car clubs are invited to attend on certain days which can add to the appeal of a visit. On our trip we were greeted by Italian sports cars and American classics that belonged to the museum docents and a local car club. Inside the art deco bodywork draped over Delahaye's stole the show, but other beauties from Voisin, HIspano Suiza and Bugatti made it difficult to keep our jaws off the floor. The museum is truly worth a visit for anyone who appreciates cars or art, or cars that have transcended their intended function and have become art. This is a special place and I hope this video will inspire more to attend.

"Voisin" is roughly pronounced "Vwah-SAW". Remember, these are French cars.

Very good report on a French car museum I didn't know!
The Tatra brand is of Czech origin, I didn't understand very well how it fits in the museum, or else it had to be placed with the other foreign brands!
It's a pity I didn't present the more mythical and more recent cars like the 2cv of Citroën and the DS, a car so revolutionary for its time and which still fascinates nowadays by its inimitable look!

The museum is in Europe and right hand drive is the standard.

Actually, the museum is in California.
The cars are from continental Europe where right hand drive is the norm.
