The most beautiful collection of French cars can be found in the museum "La Cité de l'Automobile" in Mulhouse in France

The finest French car museum in the US, but if you can't go to France, go to Tampa, Florida. The Tampa Bay Auto Museum, run by the Cerf family, has a fine representation of French cars. They also built and operate a replica of the Cugnot steam carriage.

As i understand the story of the sunk car referred is not that the man decided to avoid the taxes but he never paid the taxes and left the car in the hands of swiss officials who were supposedly to destroy it, but attached to a chain to later retrieved it but the chain broke.

i commend Mr Mullin for having chsoen the Tatra as one of only 3 non french cars in his collection- speaks of true connaisseur-ship..

What a beautiful video! But tell me, why are so many of these French cars right-hand drive? I understood about Rocthschild's Bugatti - but the rest?

The real reason is, at this time because of a real little traffic (before wwII there was not lot of car's owners in France) there is no many cars to pass, so it was more important to take care about the side of the road to don't leave it unfortunately !! After wwII not immediately but in a progressive way cars became left-hand drive maybe because of example of Americans military vehicles on soil of Europe and then traffic becoming more and more important. J-Luc from Paris suburb.

Wrong, as good as it is it's only the second best collection of French cars in the world. That is after the Schlump Museum in Mulhouse, from where the 64 un-repaired Schlump owned cars here came from. Check it out as there are over 120 Bugatti's (Plus 300 other pre-war classics) including two Royal's and the seventh - built from mainly original parts. Most American's but not all (especially the likes of Mr. Mullin and Jay Leno obviously) forget that Europe is where almost everything was invented and where the best of most things including classic cars came from.

Highly recommend two car museums in the US:
The Gilmore car museum in Michigan. There are as many cars here as there is in the schlumpf Museum
The Netthercutt Collection & museum, in southern California.
Pure opulence with 200+ classic cars

Bugatti a ‘French’ Car, designed and built by an Italian in Germany. Molsheim was in German Alsace when the company was founded.

Mr Mullin doesn't seems interested by german Bugattis, nor he is attracted by british Talbots or spanish Hispanos.
      He likes them french.

yeah, so General motors was created by a french guy: Crapo Durant ..
      Chevrolet by a Swiss ..
      Ford by an Irishman ..
      Lamborghini is now German ..
There was a time when Detroit (name of French Detroit) was in France and Los Angeles in Spain.
      Why this comment?
