I've got the Sealey 3/8 ratchet, 2 batteries and charger. Absolutely brilliant tool, it saves loads of time hacking away with a spanner. For a DIY mechanic it's perfect.

Thanks for this. Was hesitant thinking it's probably cheap and I'd regret it. Was looking at DeWalt but they're made in China too. Never know if you're paying for marketing.

I've got a few Milwaukee tools now and I have to say their brushless range is 👌👌👌 the first tool you buy is expensive but the body only tools are good. Their 12v battery packs a punch as well👍

Top Tip for the Drill use Bosch Blue tip drills no need for hammer function and goes through masonry like butter.

Cheers Mark, looking at these and thinking should I buy the Bigger brands like Dewalt or Makita, you just made up my mind to go for these and but the Big Kit deal. Thanks

I have Dewalt 18V stuff and I love it, but they don't do a ratchet wrench. You can get adapters to fit Dewalt batteries into Ryobi tools as well. I have asked for the Sealey ratchet wrench for Christmas so it looks like I will end up with both systems. My most used tool is actually the Dewalt LED torch (light is problem under cars) but it needs a 4AH battery to last all day.

I see the label over the battery level lights has come off on your ratchet too. I just noticed mine was hanging off today, after only a few months owning it. Otherwise, I'm happy with the ratchet. But I do dislike this lazy habit of rebranding a generic Chinese tool by just putting sticky labels on top. Because they always fall off eventually.

Hey, what would you say the real torque of the gun could undo in real world with rusted bolts etc ? Have you done any testing, or would you do a test video ?

Hi Mark bit of a daft question here but bare with me.Who actually makes these tools?obviously the answer is Sealey, but the reason why I ask I've looked at the Draper equivalent and the ratchet, drill driver and polisher look very very similar. I read comments on a video I watched last night reviewing the new Draper 20v impact wrench and some people said it looks pretty much like the Parkside impact wrench.Im just wondering if you know if these tools are made by one company and sold of as Sealey/Draper/Parkside. Good vids BTW,got yourself a new sub, thanks in advance mate.

I have noticed that alot of the 12v impacts and ratchets seem to use identical batteries. They are probably all made in the same factory with slightly different specs. At least with Sealey you get some sort of warranty on it. I still use my one all the time. Great tools.

Thanks for the reply.Watching your vids has helped me make up my mind, gonna invest in a few of these 👍👍if possible could you do a review on the 12v polisher and if not could point me in the direction of someone who has, thanks again.

@@broadband1820 the 12v polisher is pretty decent and good for jobs like polishing cloudy headlights on a car. Its abit time consuming to do a whole car but i used it alot when i painted my front bumper and it had no problems with polishing out wet sanding marks. I will try and do a review tomorrow as its been a while since ive uploaded a video

I think that the ratchet wrench is the same as the old model prostormer that was sold in USA. There is a new one but I don't know if it takes the same batteries. The genuine Sealey batteries seem reasonably priced.

New Zealand here. One of our auto shops (like Halfords) sells this same 12V range under ToolPro brand. The moulding and battery terminals look identical to the Sealy's, same speeds and N.M. ratings. Only thing slightly different that I could see is our drill doesn't have the hammer function. Oh and our smaller batteries are 2.0AH instead of 1.5AH. You can get the larger 4AH too.
