DUDE! YOU ARE A F****ING LEGEND! Everything in one video! All other youtbers will make 10 fideos from these tools and post one by one to try and get more views. You are just a GIGA CHAD all in one and the best quality Parkside content ANYWHERE! You deserve A MILIION VUEWS FOR THIS and I hope you get them. I want to know how long this video took to make and thank you for every second!!!???
Thank you! Thank you so much! No chance of a million views but I do hope I get a fraction of that 😂 And yes I am not a fan of the format where I make 10 videos and release them in parts. Not my style that.
Me being a festool nut finding I needed a cordless mower bought the parkside. It’s a complete star and still going strong 3 years on. The tools here look great to be honest. Great content here👍
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and to comment! From time to time Parkside do have fantastic deals on items that are really good. Unfortunately not the case with their entire range. They do have some nasty tools too. The new 12V Performance range for now I think has all the right tools and they are all rather good.
@BrokeLifeEU I know them alloy wheel ones are impact but if you test it compared to a black thick walled impact socket mass off the socket makes a difference in power
@@aarondavies8486 Indeed proper thick walled impact sockets make a massive difference, however in this case the same sockets were used to test all the batteries so that is a constant.
Subscribed, liked and commented. You sir, are a legend for us hobbyist and myself a "home mechanic" (doing stuff for me and friends), this is all gold! 💪🙏🏼
Brother this video is amazing. I have been using the 12V PBSPA C3 performance drill for some time with a 4Ah battery and have been loving it. Decided to buy a 5pack of 4Ah batteries for 40% off last week, anticipating myself buying the new 12V tools. You really sold me on the small grinder and the SDS hammer drill. Will help with home remodelling in old classic european brick house. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching and for the kind comment! I think once you are aware of the limitations of the 12V SDS drill you will like it for what it is, light and compact. I think it is excellent for use in bricks and as you have loads of batteries I think you will like this platform very much. I would love to read an update if you indeed to get it and try it out. Thank you again for your time!
@@BrokeLifeEU Yeah, it is a small boy, but powerful *and* cheap enough for me to really consider it. It is much better than the green 20V at 4Ah so I will definitely just buy the 12V performance one. It will be great for small work around the house, for big concrete/stone drilling I will keep using our 30 year old Narex drill! Here is a comparison between Milwaukee, and two Parkside SDS drills. It really shows the great value/performance of the new Parkside one. th-cam.com/video/EullfhOvBCY/w-d-xo.html *PS* If you could do a video on the new excentric sander, you would be a legend!
@Kossmok Just ordered the new sander and jigsaw last night 😁 will be thinking of ways to test them out today. Top of my list is to try and use them to make a pallet coffee table. The issue there is that it will be my first time doing anything woodworking so I am certain it will be a disaster 😂
Pro tip for cutting sheet metal with an angle grinder. Do not cut it like seen in the video, instead lay it flat or horizontal in vice, then go up and down cutting material away. Reason, you’ll safe lots of money, the disk will last more than twice/triple as long. And, it’s more accurate.
I enjoyed every minute on the video, especially the part of the cut off tool. All new 12v Performance lineup of Parkside seems to be really good tols. Thumbs up!
So happy to see the 12v system progressing. Note for future videos: if you can help it, please stop getting the drill bits to the point of smoking, or your drilling tests will be less reliable and trustworthy if you use the same drill bits over and over. Just drill slower and speed up the drilling footage while adding a time counter, to avoid the drill bit smoking and not have the video too long.
They have completely changed the budget 12V tool game with these tools is what I think! Note taken! Although I always use new drill bits for these test. I even use a new drill bit for every tool in a video. I tried it on speed one and it was painfully slow, then I tried on speed two and to my surprise it did manage to drill even with the 12mm bit.
i honestly cant wait for the impact to come out in the uk i have most of the 12v range i use daily on site and honestly amazing tools great to see a great review of them all !!!
Thank you for the kind comment! Any idea if they will be bringing this Performance line to the UK, they don’t do too much of the Performance tools in Lidl UK unfortunately…
speaking of the impact drivers, I would like to see how it does when you actually want to gently drive a small screw. I have the 20V perf one, PDSSAP 20 C2 and had an opportunity to compare it to some festool impact driver and on full power you almost couldn't see a difference but the big difference was in low revolutions. The festool was able to easily start rotating very slowly with high torque while parkside starts much higher and you have to be very gentle on the trigger. Sure, on small screws you can choose some more suitable tool, but you know sometimes you don't have all your lovelly power tools with you and you have to do it with what you have and small screws are a bit trickier with this one.
I know what you mean. The Parkside Performance stuff has never had good trigger control. Their brushed versions are much better at that. If you put this new thing in its lowest mode and REALLY take care on the trigger it is possible to drive small screws slowly and with care, however that takes so much time and effort to do that I would rather switch to my drill or a cordless screwdriver. This I use for larger screws in pre-drilled wood. That is to say I find it best for assembling furniture and for the bigger screws at that. So it can do smaller screws, but it requires effort.
I just bought a normal 20v driver at a discount in Lidl for 29.99e and It was the first power tool I ever bought, including the battery, charger and a set of bits and drill bits, Im a Milwaukee "fanboy" but for 30 euros there isnt anything better on the market for that price tag! In my opinion they are far from bad tools but they are not close to being best, they are for home owners who needs a power tool here and there, home owners wont trow 300e for a bare Milwaukee hammer drill (If you are not me)
I got 12v Impact Wrench, and first one was unbalanced, it vibrated so much plus uncenterd head. Then I replaced it and the new one was good, only there is a metal sound when I start/stop with the key on it. I would also buy 12v Performance grinder, but already have excellent Bosch one, 12v brushless as well:-) I have already 12v Drill, but also when first one arrived, clutch was noicy and bad, so I replaced it and the second one is perfect. But the thing is that quality control is really not so perfect with these tools, unfortunatelly.
The 12V impact wrench did not impress me when it was first released at 77EUR, and there are some issues with it for sure. It is made by Grizzly tools and I am not their biggest fan it must be said. I also had one that went wrong but I did manage to get my money back. Now that they have lowered the price to 50EUR I see it as a much better deal since I already have the 12V batteries. But would I buy in to the 12V system just because of the impact wrench? It's a hard NO. On the quality control front I guess that on order to lower prices they leave QC to the costumer. I can somewhat live with that as long as they have stock to quickly replace a faulty unit.
@@BrokeLifeEUI essentially bought into the 12V now because of the impact driver or wrench (which I intend to buy later when they get their prices lower). However I bought it because it was possible to get 4Ah batteries at 60 % of their regular prices and with an expectation that I would have 12V stuff at one site and 20V at the other. However, there's that thing of small screwdriver being unsuitable for small hands and not everything I would like being available for 12 V so I may end up with both eventually...
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! The impact wrench at its current price with the 5Ah battery is a really solid deal indeed! And the hammer drill was such a good surprise as well!
Very nice video, it's rare to see a longer video with detailed reviews. I love them. Just a tip: never use metal drill bits on big speeds, they will degrade quickly. Moderate speed and pressure is the key. Also oil, but you already used it
Thank you so much for your kind comment and for the tip! You are spot on about the metal drilling. In these videos I just want to give the drill a hard time and I use the drill bits maybe once or twice at most so the results are comparable. Otherwise for anyone at home by all means drilling in metal should be done at the slowest possible speed and with lubrication. Heat is the enemy of the drill bit! And drilling in metal generates A LOT of heat!
Wow, what a full of details, condensed and rich of meritoric content wideo! This angle grinder is indeed 11/10! I have old, 12V one for realy small cuts and with 4Ah battery it was enought for mine purporses, but this new performance one smashing even this brush 20V one! Well 2 new 12V 5Ah are in the way to me, im sure this grinder will be next.
Thank you so much for the high mark! I don't want to spoil your surprise but you are in for a shock. This grinder is something else entirely! If you don't forget, just drop a line after it arrives and you test it. I would love to know about your reaction!
@@BrokeLifeEU Unfortunately angle grinders are not available in Poland. We have jig saw and two sanders instead. I bought two new 5Ah 12V and hammer drill because it was missing link in my workshop, but green one is lil too weak.
There is no comment enough for what you just do 👍, really great and many thanks. You convince me to get the mini grinder, I have the other two, but I think I will sell them now 🙈. Thx
The new charger like other older ones, has a built spring pin that measure the ID pin of the battery and adjust charging current. To protect my old batteries i put a tape on that pin that limits the current to the lowest value.
Finally! I've been waiting for your review of these tools and it didn't disappoint! Thank you sir! I already bought all of these, even though I already have a lot of their green equivalent and didn't really need these, but I'm an addict haha
Same as me and many others I guess 😂 Thank you for your kind comment! I did try my best. As always now I can see many ways in which to improve but on this video I am somewhat happy with the end result and I hope viewers like you appreciate it.
I was eyeing the SDS drill this week. I wanted it for the hammer only function, mainly to remove mortar from brick and brick drilling. I think I'm sold on it 😂
I think it will be more than alright for that. Just don't expect too much. The 1J is a very weak Joule indeed. 😂 But I guess if you don't like it, you can always take it back to Lidl for a refund. With that said you can't expect too much from a 12V SDS anyway.
Subbed & liked, mate ! I LOVE my Parkside Performance tools... and the 5 year warranty is fantastic too !! BTW... when using SDS drill bits / chisels, you should ALWAYS apply grease liberally to the shank before inserting it.... it makes a HUGE difference to the energy transferred to the toolbit... 🤫 😎👍☘🍻
Cheers mate! 🍻 Thank you for the kind comment! With you on the grease for the SDS drill bits and chisels, however I do use as little as possible otherwise it gets in there good and starts oozing out and then dust gets on that and not a nice thing to happen altogether.
Parkside is definitely a great value, and the newer stuff also looks very slick. The closest we have to that in Canada would probably be Canadian Tire's Mastercraft tools which i started out with woodworking. Still have many of them!
Parkside is really nice to have as you can get somewhat decent DIY tools at great prices. The downside is that sometimes it feels like the costumer is doing the quality control but as tools can be returned for a refund that is not such a big issue. I am sorry for the stupid question but are there Lidl stores in Canada?
Great Video as always bro. I got the new Drilldriver and a second Impact wrench aswell as the new 5.0Ah and 2.5Ah batteries. The drill is amazing and the impact wrench does like the 5Ah battery but its only for smaller bolts, especially when they are rusty. I still need to get the grinder and your video helped me with my decision 😂 I hope they will make an impact wrench similair to the new millwauke 12V, maybe not 700Nm but somewhere around 500Nm would be nice. As always nice video 👍🏻
YES!!! An updated impact wrench, but made by Kompernaß with more power! I would love that!!! There is loads of free space in that impact wrench and I think they can easily fit a bigger motor in there just like Milwaukee did. As for the mini grinder that thing is an ABSOLUTE BEAST! I was absolutely gobsmacked when I saw how it cut the 3mm steel sheet compared to the 20v. At 30EUR that grinder is something else! I would love to know what you think if you decide to buy it!
I like the 12V Bosch line. Got a combo drill that was used and abused, and still working like a clock. In my opinion the main issues are the price too close to the 18V line, as the lack of impact wrenches options.
Bosch have always been a solid choice, however I find the price for entry in to the system a bit too much. Also the fact that the Easy line and the Professional line have a different battery platform should be mentioned. And I mention the price, because even for DIY I find their green 12V tools a bit weak. That said they seem to be made to last..well some of them. Also they are close to the 18V ones in terms of pricing so it is understandable why for example I am yet to see a 12V EasyImpactDriver anywhre in the real world. I almost ordered one just to have a look at it to see if it was real 😅
@@BrokeLifeEU Bosch 12V impact drivers are too weak for nowadays standards. You can fit the 12V DIY line battery in the Professional line, as vice versa, just needs some trimming.
Damn you Parkside ;). I have a lot of tools, way too many ;) including Milwaukee, Dewalt or blue Bosch. But for some reason I cannot stop buying these little black toys. Got the 12V impact wrench when it was released but not very happy about it. It for sure does not have the declared torque. Bought 12V impact driver just recently, could be lighter but is not bad. But the angle grinder, it seems to be a fine tool indeed. The green one is tragic, but this black one, I getting it for sure. Very nice vid by the way.
Thank you so much! Yeah the 12V impact wrench was a bit of a disappointment when it first came out. For 77EUR then I expected more. However for 50EUR now I think it can be said that it would be nice to have around for small jobs. On the mini grinder front I would love to know what you think when you try it out. I was lost for words there 😂 a world of difference between this and the 20V brushed one for sure!
Thank you to you! I can't say thank you enough! You can rest assured this will be invested in to better videos in the future! I aim to bring you tool content that you will enjoy! Thank you again!!!
Good video brother! Im a contractor and i would never bye this but for a dui guy or for work around the house ! Im a makita/milwaukee guy !!! .....this has to littel POWER WE NEEEEED MORE POWER 😂
@@michaelrasmussen5430 agree, we use Milwaukee 20v line at work and still it is so much lighter to use a 12v or even 5v "toy" tool if I need it for a couple of times. None of the "performance" tools resist. All my 20v performance tools become a toaster after 2 minutes of continuous use. But for diy or occasional use is a bargain. Just do not rely on them.
Thank you! Yeah, Parkside really is its own universe, they are an ideal budget option for occasional DIY use and not much more. The minute you start using them daily and they will give up really quickly. You can't have cheap and robust tools after all. Also something which is important in your line of work, there are NO spare parts for Parkside. In that front I think best is Makita, yes some spare parts are expensive, however everything I have looked for I have managed to find available as a spare for a Makita. And I think with their new 40V line they may give you the power you so desire 😂 I have to clarify I am a weekend DIY-er at BEST! So you have a much better view of all of this than me for sure!
Looks like Lidl UK does not really want to get their hands on the Parkside Performance range, although I think there will be a huge market for these tools.
Nice video. Are you planning to do a 12v impact driver into an impact wrench conversion like with the 20v one? It would be interesting to see how it compares to the actual impact wrench.
Thank you! As for the 12V impact driver. It is really only set up to be an impact driver. The internals won't support a 1/2" anvil or even a 3/8" at that. Well not for long anyway. No matter what is done to it I think it's optimistic limit no matter the anvil is the 170Nm which is not really enough to consider a conversion and then there are all the downsides. So in the end just a conversion of this will cost more than the tool and there is very little if even nothing to gain.
I know it is a real shame they barely stock any Performance stuff in the UK. You would have loves the new 12V Performance stuff. But you never know they just might bring these over in a week or two.
Thank you so much! Well if you look at all the tools I have bought with the excuse being that I need them for this channel you would realise that I indeed have a very big issue 😂
They are slowly but surely stocking them in Lidl stores so I hope they bring them to a Lidl near you soon. That grinder is really something rather nice!
Very nice video friend, i really like rotary hammers so seeing the new one has chisel function is very interesting in my eyes, i know its not that strong but its impressive
Well done , love this video , I have all of the tools from this video except the 2.5ah battery and the 12v hammer drill ,,, guess I need to order one now 😅
I have the sds, going to order the regular one now , only problem now is I need some more items to make it worthwhile as I get them forwarded from Germany ,, 😅
@@BrokeLifeEU yes I love the mini grinders , I have the 12v and 20v versions , not a fan of the 20 v as the battery makes it cumbersome to use ,, I have the new performance model in transit right now,, 😁
That 20V battery on the grinder got in the way of my camera more times that I would like to admit during filming for this! Never had an issue with the 12V. I could film around it however I wished!
u dont need to spend millions of £s if its just for home use, people spend £ hundreds on famous make yellow and red ones and may only get them out every blue moon. Great review btw liked and subscribed
Thank you so much! Yes, Parkside once you understand the limitations of the tools and their purpose are really good value for money! I have been using Parkside tools for some time at home and for some car and bike maintenance and really can't complain. They do what they are supposed to for the average DIY-er. Also the 5 year warranty on the Performance line is extremely nice!
Yes, that is the weaker one but I think it was absolutely the best they could do for that size and power, as I said in the video works as a secondary tool. But you need to have the bigger one around for concrete.
Nice! I have a question, what is the model of the green cut off wheel, because I own also one, but mine is a monster. I recently used it to cut channels in reinforced concrete and it made quick work of it. Also I use it regularly on 3-5mm steel panels and I takes a second to plunge the whole disk. Thanks for the whole video!
Thank you for your cooment and for watching! As per the model of the brushed mini grinder - PWSAM 20-Li A1. I did test out two of them and for me the results were identical. On its own it is really not a bad tool at all, however once you put it up against the new 12V Performance, things change really quickly indeed. Have you tested out the new one?
@@DontKnow-nq6bh nee ook niet op Amazon, wat wel op Amazon staat is gelijk 2 of 3 keer duurder. Zag net dat ze zijn toegevoegd op de Nederlandse site en binnenkort beschikbaar zullen zijn
This was excellent to see. Its a shame that here in Croatia we get only a part of the lineup mostly on some months, and no online shopping.... Just thinking, what if I order online from Germany. Does Lidl send those to other countries in EU regardless If Lidl is there or not.... Hmm
Thank you! Unfortunately I think the Lidl online stores only deliver inside the country they are based in. It would be so nice to have an online Lidl or Parkside experience whre they deliver inside the EU or Europe in general.
Where do you get parkside performance tools from (i know lidl but ive never seen the performance range) Also good video ive finally found someone who knows how to use a tool and test them rather than just faffing around with them and doing stupid things like destroying two perfectly good drills by making them burn themselves out by putting them on each end of a bolt and have them trying to "out torque" the other just to see which one is "better" or have them doing things they wernt meant for such as making a small drill drive 6 inch deck screws, watch it struggle and say its "rubbish". Thanks for a proper demonstration and review.
Thank you for the king comment so much! Also thank you for taking the time to watch the video! As for the tool, all of what you see in the video I bough from the German Lidl website - Lidl.de. They are in nearly all Lidl stores across Europe by now. Unfortunately looking at your name on TH-cam I hesitate to say they will be in a Lidl near you soon as Lidl UK are probably allergic to profits and so they don't bring much Performance stuff to the UK.
Thank you! Sorry to hear you did not get the 5ah it is a very nice upgrade. I hope you get them at some point! Would love to know what you think after you test the tools! I am so impressed with the grinder and I hope you like it too!
The SDS drill frankly looks like it should have been a green line, especially when you look up it's teardown and you see that unlike it's 20V sister, it doesn't have a metal housing for the gearing and hammer mechanism, so it's unsuitable for lengthy work, unlike the 20V cordless hammer. And big thanks for the comparison of these two in a good concrete. I was thinking of leaving old 5J PBH 1500 at one site and getting some cheap cordless one to have at my apartment but now it seems that the only cost-effective thing to buy would be the 3J corded green PBH 1050 (if Lidl sells it ever again) or rhe current 5J hammer, the PBH 1550.
You are most welcome! Ineed the 12V is suited for just the occasional DIY use and in brick at that or small holes in concrete. As I said for me it looks like a secondary small tool if weight becomes a problem in certain places. I still think the best middle ground is the 20V PKHAP. It is not the most powerful, however the best middle ground between power and weight. I think for DIY work it will get the most work done. For real prolonged work you need a 5J corded one.
@@BrokeLifeEU I also see the need for 5J one because of my apartment being in a commie block, which means fairly high quality concrete and a lot of people hearing the drilling sounds at pretty high volume. :) Therefore it make fairly big difference if you can drill a hole in a couple of seconds (5J), few dozens of seconds (these 1J pneumatic hammers) or if it takes a minute to drill a hole (mechanical impacts, my one is Bosch EasyImpact 6000). If I knew what I know now, I would probably skip the Bosch and green 20V basic Parkside screwdrivers entirely and I'd go from the start for a pair of PABSP 20 (one at each site) and another PBH 1500/1550 (again to avoid the need to lug them, I need it far less often but the inconvenience of lugging it or renting a big hammer outweighs it). The black 20V is nice but I don't use it often enough to justify the extra cost over the corded PBH.
Yeah, this is really a tool where you need all the power you can get. Which is realistically only in one place, in the 220V cord. The 12V SDS will curse the day it was made if you point it in the direction of communist concrete 😂
Hi. unfortunately Lidl don't deliver to UK. I can place an order and have it delivered to you in Germany and you can forward to me here in the UK? Naturally I will pay shipping cost.. what do you think?
Hi, I think there is an even better and cheaper option. Have you looked in to so called forwarding companies. You order something to their address in Germany and they ship it to you in the UK and the prices are much lower than DHL or such. Unfortunately I don't know how things stand with warranty if you do that. As with Parkside sometimes the end user is the one doing the bulk of the quality control.
The PPDSSA A1 even with a 5Ah battery I find weak, however the PDSSAP C3 does have factory defective parts. I would say a PDSSAP B3 is the best option, however as it is not on the table herr the 12V stuff seems to me will last a lot longer.
A 12V 1/2" impact wrench (40€) is great for me with a 4Ah battery. It's so small and light. Up to M12 it good enough. For larger screws, I will use pneumatic impact, but this is so small and short that you can reach almost all screws on car suspension. It is my go-to tool for the car. But, most people buy it for wheel screws. It can unscrew it if it's not overtightened, but wheel screws are easy to access with a bigger impact wrench or with a longer breaker bar. Can you do a 12V impact wrench with a "1/2 to hex bit adapter" vs. a 12v impact driver?
If it is used as you describe, in combination with a more powerful tool for this price the 12V impact wrench as you say is an absolute BARGAIN! You just have to know its limitations. Unfortunately 350Nm as they say on the box is just not possible, however around the 200Nm it is fine! I will see what I can do regarding that test for sure!
The spect hard torque for drill drivers is not the actual torque in gear 1. In gear 1 you have the max soft torque that some decent brands used to spec. In gear 2 you have a second soft torque that is 3-4X lower then the one in gear 1, depending on the gear ratio. The hard torque is reached just from the hard stop in shock from full RPM in gear 2 with small load, it's one tangential impact with momentum and kinetic energy in relation with the speed squared. The 10.8V so called 12max brushless Grizly-black Parkside drill driver that's spect 30 Nm ( hard torque) can reach only around 10 Nm in gear 1. For reference, Bosch GSR 10,8 2 Li and its refresh 12V-15 and 12V-15FC spect 30Nm hard and 15 Nm soft torque, in practice can reach even 15.7 Nm in gear 1. Then GSR 12V-35 brushless is spect 35 Nm hard and 20 soft and sometimes can reach 20Nm, other times stops in protection faster but is better then the Parkside drill driver.
I think I would most trust Makita with their numbers and then Bosch. The numbers on Parkside tools are just wishful thinking in most cases these days. On top of that with Parkside things could differ greatly between different units of the same series. Still a good price for what I think is a good DIY tool in most cases, but if you are not careful with Parkside there are many duds.
Also thank you so much for taking the time to explain all this! As well as your other comment were extremely interesting reads for me! I am just a regular DIY-er my regular job does not have anything to do with tools so that is why I make this type of content. DIY type of tools so I can show what someone like me should reasonably expect.
Live here in the USA I wish LYDL would sell a better selection I have a couple of their tools they are pretty decent and work very well missing the boat on the newer brushless tools
I think they would do very well were they to bring this line of tools over to the US. As far as I know in the US you get just the green versions and these I think are far, far better.
The new one is the same model. The 77EUR impact wrench was a PPDSSA A1 and the one sold now is the exact same model. It is just that now they are selling it for 50EUR.
I am sure they will in a couple of weeks. I think they always arrive in about a couple of weeks after they are advertised on the Lidl.de website. Can you confirm?
how often do you use the hammer function on the cordless hand drills? I have a 20V driver drill and a corded black and Decker hammer drill. I am not sure if I should return my cordless drill driver to get one with a hammer function. Or just keep mine and just run an extension cord to my b&d if I ever need a hammer function outside in the garden. Also is it just me or can't you get the 8Ah battery anymore from their site? nice videos by the way!
Thank you for your comment! Absolutely you are correct I personally almost never use the hammer function on a drill like this. If I need some sort of drilling in concrete I go for the SDS Rotary hammer drill which I know will get the job done and quickly. But still I think it is a nice option to have on this with the disadvantage being a little added weight. Regarding the 8Ah battery I just had a look on Lidl.de and you are right it is not available.
I have pondered that question for as long as this channel has existed. I am certain there is a huge market for these tools in the UK yet Lidl UK refuse to have them for some unknown reason.
Hello, amazing video! Did you test out the hammer drill (not sds) on concrete with the 2.5Ah vs 5Ah? I can’t decide if I should purchase the 5Ah for those jobs.
I did try it out at home last night. I did not time it so I can just tell you what the feeling was. It felt like it on hammer more in terms of power it was the same. The run time as you would imagine was a lot longer.
@@BrokeLifeEU Perhaps when both fully charged it is close, but the 5Ah would quickly become more powerful as it depletes the battery less on each hole. Should still be beneficial, no?
@hotwheels1997 I always get a bigger battery just for what you said in is ot just a longer run time, but a longer and more productive run time with the 5ah.
@@BrokeLifeEU Thank you, makes sense, I will go ahead and purchase it. I really like the 12V family form factor and this new 5Ah battery looks to be the best for the platform.
I will give it a go at some point for sure! I also have the correct disc for the job just thought it would be too much cutting for one video. However I can tell you with the power this thing has it will be much better at this job than any other Parkside 76mm grinder, this is a monster!
@@BrokeLifeEU the only real downside for me is the extra weight. Its not far from an 18v drill. Id love to see a comparison of it vs its predecessor with your screw-driving test. Will the newer one drive large screws in the wood that the old one cant fully drive home? Is there a noticeable quality upgrade? I found that the D4 likes to make a sort of grinding noise in second gear and that its sometimes hard to switch between gears. Maybe a "Short"-Video about the main differences between the two would be possible? Thank you for your work!
@@niumy1972 my first dri was a standard 30Nm 14.4v. Makita and it was more than enough for me. Then came the 60Nm performance which I love and later the 80Nm which I hate it because it is too heavy. I found that most of the drywall screws can be screwed even with a 5V electrical screw driver, so 45nM can do all your work. If you want to start framing, or drill with 1" augers 1, look for Red, yellow or blue tools
Loads of people swear by that 80Nm hammer drill. I also personally never liked it. Waaay too heavy. I am one of those people who likes a small drill and a separate SDS drill for the other stuff. In therms of the 45Nm vs 30Nm for anything like a 6x160 in softer wood there is next to no difference. However if you are using say a spare bit 35mm on speed 2. The 45Nm one will stop far less often and will get the job done quicker.
I bought all of these online, and even the small Sander to polish a car someday Didn't got the angle Grinder at first, thinking i may not need it, but then went to the store on release Day and bought it plus 2 extra 5 Ah Batterys. All in All, i paid maybe 350€ for all these tools + sander and 4 5Ah Amp Batterys. No other brand would even gave me half of that for that money, which then leads to the Question = Which brand even offers 12V?!, Not Many
Yeah, you can't get close to half of that with other companies that give you a warranty. Maybe it is even impossible to buy all of that stuff from questionable stores on the internet with no warranty. Have you tried the tools out already? What are your thoughts?
@@BrokeLifeEU The Hammer Drill is very nice, on the Heavy site as u mentioned, but i prefer it over the Green, but if i have the Chance i'll go get the Performance one which weights less (yeah, i have a spending Problem :d) Them other tools i don't had much Chance to test by now, but i'm rather confident by seeing ur Video, that My Green 20V Impact Drill will retire My Green 20V SDS Hammer Drill will retire The Angle Grinder will help me ALOT Working on my Car in the Future. And i also think that the sds Hammer will be used alot to get rid of Plaster and stuff in the Future, but i will see, i got the 20V Performance Hammer and i also love this one alot These Tools are just Awesome in the way, that they are sufficient for almost everything a normal Person will do in his everyday Car/House Projects
@3DamX1 Absolutely I think these can get 90-95% of regular sort of DIY work done. Call me impressed by Parkside. The pricing is very nice as well and you get a warranty on top of that! Quality control is somewhat left to the end user but what else can you expect at that price 😅
Great video! I would like to buy a hammer drill and a new battery with charger. Does the new charger fit in the case of hammer drill? Thanks for the answer.
Thank you for the nice comment and sorry for the late reply! Yes the new charger will fit nicely in all the boxes apart from the impact wrench box. I guess they made the boxes for the new tools with the new charger in mind but they did not change the box for the impact wrench.
I don't really have too many brushed tools in general, however the 12V brushed drill is a better buy than the 12V brushless version. The brushed is 28Nm brushless is 35Nm but not much real world difference there and the brushed is bulletproof, whereas the brushless has been warrantied a couple of times already. Which versions do you have in mind?
I just moved to the netherlands and seeing power tools in the supermarket at that price truley shocked me. I just ordered the new parkside orbital sander from lidil and its amazing. I understand its not the best quality but for that price tag you cant loose. I am interested though, what counties does parkside supply to? Never heard of them untill i moved
Welcome to the Parkside world! Sometimes you will be disappointed but being able to return the tool for a replacement or a refund does make up for that. Cheap tools come at a cost which is that quality control is performed by the end user unfortunately. However the pricing does make up for that inconvenience in my mind. Basically you can find Parkside in Lidl stores in the EU. And in some lucky countries they also have a web store which is the best thing ever because they have loads of stock.
@BrokeLifeEU thank you! I did noticed the online shop had everything while my local one only had a wall detector or something 😅 thanks for the vid. Well earned sub!
Thank you! Unfortunately I did run out of money and so the sanders and jigsaw I left out… sorry! But there are a couple of other great videos on the sanders and I might get the jugsaw if this video justifies its cost.
How much the bit jiggle inside the pbspa 12v hammer one, wiggle? I have the old version c3 and the bit wiggle a lot If they will be sold in RO i would buy the impact driver and the cutoff wheel, very nice tools.
It does wiggle a bit, probably a bit less than on the regular 12V performance drill. Good news is that it never came free so that's good. The impact driver is a solid 12V tool, but that cut off tool surprised me, I was not expecting it to have that sort of power for a 12V. I hope they bring them over soon so you can test them yourself.
And another issue, have you compared the drill against the old version? Is there any improvement from 30nm to 45nm? At the moment on my shopping list are: the grinder, the impact driver, a battery of each type and the charger. I am undecided about the drill.
I did try them on 6x160 and 8x180 screws. You can definitely feel the extra 15Nm but it is nothing life changing. It is nice with the extra 15Nm but you can also do fine with just the 30Nm. As an illustration I did time them and on the 6x160 screws the 45Nm one is about 1 second faster to screw it in. However if you are not timing them that is not really noticeable. The nice thing about it is that it has an inbuilt hammer function. If you are satisfied with your 30Nm one I don't think you should bother with the upgrade. It is worth the investment only if you need the hammer function. Your shopping list looks spot on as it is if you ask me!
Ah so the hammer drill has a 13mm chuck! So hole sawing drywall for downlights is an option (11mm arbor). Is the detachable chuck interchangeable with the other 12v drills? They're only 10mm max

Thats the kind of test I like. No BS and to the point. Subscribed

A little because if he used some proper impact sockets not them alloy wheels sockets makes more of a difference than you think
@@aarondavies8486 I did use proper impact wheel sockets Cr-Mo. Not the Cr-V ones that come with the tool.

*PS* If you could do a video on the new excentric sander, you would be a legend!
Cheers! I will make sure to give that a go! I did go hard on the discs with these cuts to be fair!
I enjoyed every minute on the video, especially the part of the cut off tool.
All new 12v Performance lineup of Parkside seems to be really good tols.
Thumbs up!
Thank you! That cut off tool is genuinely a shock when you first try it. I was not expecting that type of power from it!
Too be honest, these tools are fantastic and verry affordable and dependable.
They are affordable for sure, I am not sure about dependable, but that is what the warranty is there for anyway 😂
Wow, amazing… it is very good because everything is in one video. Thank you very much. YOU ARE THE BEST. 🎉 🎉🎉
You are the BEST! Thank you for watching and for your positive and kind comment!

Amazingly good video mate!
Cheers mate! I appreciate the kind comment!
speaking of the impact drivers, I would like to see how it does when you actually want to gently drive a small screw.
I would also buy 12v Performance grinder, but already have excellent Bosch one, 12v brushless as well:-)
I have already 12v Drill, but also when first one arrived, clutch was noicy and bad, so I replaced it and the second one is perfect.
Brilliant video! Love the hammer drill and the impact wrench
Thanks for the amazing work and giving a good information for all the parkside tools.
Thank you so much for the nice comment!
@@FRANQ23PL I hope you enjoy the new purchase! Also I think you will find the new battery more powerful than the old 4Ah which is always nice!

Thank you! Let me know what you think when you get the grinder I think it is indeed superb for the size it is.
Very clear explanation, welldone
Thank you so much!
The new charger like other older ones, has a built spring pin that measure the ID pin of the battery and adjust charging current. To protect my old batteries i put a tape on that pin that limits the current to the lowest value.
At least they put a fan in the new one. Less heat is always good in and around a battery.

Thanks for the review! Nice video!
Thank you for your kind comment and thank you for watching!
😎👍☘🍻

@@BrokeLifeEU nope. That seems to be a European only chain
They have Lidl in the US but probably no Parkside.

But I am guessing that will affect warranty? Or are they fine with that?
Thanks!

tool content that you will enjoy!
Cool all of the Serie
It is rather nice and they are still adding new 12V tools.
Not sure if the UK Lidl stores will stock them, better in stores like Toolstation or Screwfix as the Einhill range of power tools
Looks like Lidl UK does not really want to get their hands on the Parkside Performance range, although I think there will be a huge market for these tools.
Thanks for the vid! Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the kind comment and for your time! I do appreciate it!
Just wish we could get any of these newer 12V or 20V brushless options in the UK.
I know it is a real shame they barely stock any Performance stuff in the UK. You would have loves the new 12V Performance stuff. But you never know they just might bring these over in a week or two.

Thank you so much!
Apart from the hammer drill I am really impressed, you should sponsor your audience because of your videos 😂
😂 I know I also cost myself too much! By the hammer drill do you mean the SDS hammer one?
@@BrokeLifeEU the sds one
I hope the spbsap 12 hammer drill will be available in the Netherlands soon. We still got the old one
That is strange, you got like half of the new 12V stuff. I guess more to come at some point.
Where do you get parkside performance tools from (i know lidl but ive never seen the performance range)
Also good video ive finally found someone who knows how to use a tool and test them rather than just faffing around with them and doing stupid things like destroying two perfectly good drills by making them burn themselves out by putting them on each end of a bolt and have them trying to "out torque" the other just to see which one is "better" or have them doing things they wernt meant for such as making a small drill drive 6 inch deck screws, watch it struggle and say its "rubbish".
Nice presentation!
Thank you!
No 5A parkside batteries here in in Italy....shame. nice video thanks. bought before seen it the grinder and the hammer drill today
Thank you! Sorry to hear you did not get the 5ah it is a very nice upgrade. I hope you get them at some point! Would love to know what you think after you test the tools! I am so impressed with the grinder and I hope you like it too!
Good reviews!!!
Thank you! What do you think of the new tools?
Thank you for the video!
Thank you for your comment and for watching!
Hi. unfortunately Lidl don't deliver to UK.
Hi, do you recommend buying one PDSSAP C3 and PPDSSA A1 or buying 2 PDSSAP C3 and mod one to be impact wrench.
The PPDSSA A1 even with a 5Ah battery I find weak, however the PDSSAP C3 does have factory defective parts. I would say a PDSSAP B3 is the best option, however as it is not on the table herr the 12V stuff seems to me will last a lot longer.
Thank you for this video 🙏
Thank you for watching and for taking the time to comment!
Any idea where I can buy the protective cover with thr dust extraction connection for the mini grinder?
At the moment I think it only comes with the tool. At least that is how I got it. I don‘t know if they have plans to sell ot separately in the future.
Where did you buy this tool? Thanks in advance for the answer
Everything you see in the video I got from the German Lidl online store. That would be lidl.de
Nice one
Thank you!
I have the impact wrench, you should test if the new impact driver is more powerful than the wrench or same.
The new one is the same model. The 77EUR impact wrench was a PPDSSA A1 and the one sold now is the exact same model. It is just that now they are selling it for 50EUR.
I had the drill which I mainly used for wire brushing, but unfortunately it burnt out
Sorry to hear that! I hope they sent out a new one or refunded you quickly!
I want that impact driver so much from the momemt i saw it, unfortunately in Romania didn't arrived yet.
I am sure they will in a couple of weeks. I think they always arrive in about a couple of weeks after they are advertised on the Lidl.de website. Can you confirm?
Unfortunately the Impact Wrench is not sold in the Netherlands, and Lidl Belgium does not ship to the Netherlands
Sorry to hear that, I do hope they bring it over at a reasonable price.
I have just bought a bargain 2 12volt drill a double charger and 4 12volt 4ah batteries and change out of £40 at Lidl great.
That is a superb deal! Which model drills did you get?
@@BrokeLifeEU the one where you take the chuck off a still use it for screw bits
@ronlarratt9642 That is the green one correct?
@@BrokeLifeEU yes I now have 4 drills a 6 4ah batteries
@ronlarratt9642 That is a solid collection. I have one of those drills, been through a lot and never let me down!
how often do you use the hammer function on the cordless hand drills?
How come we don’t see the performance range in the uk?
@hotwheels1997 For sure, the 2.5Ah is not too bad but only when you value wight over power. Otherwise the 5Ah all day!
Could you please use the small grinder on tiles. I would love it 🎉❤
I will give it a go at some point for sure! I also have the correct disc for the job just thought it would be too much cutting for one video. However I can tell you with the power this thing has it will be much better at this job than any other Parkside 76mm grinder, this is a monster!
How does the new drill compare to the old one in terms of strength? Rated at 45nm vs 35nm?
Thanks for the comparison!
The new one finds all the tasks just a bit easier and you can feel that from the get go. And I find it nicely built!
I bought all of these online, and even the small Sander to polish a car someday
Didn't got the angle Grinder at first, thinking i may not need it, but then went to the store on release Day and bought it plus 2 extra 5 Ah Batterys.
All in All, i paid maybe 350€ for all these tools + sander and 4 5Ah Amp Batterys.
No other brand would even gave me half of that for that money, which then leads to the Question = Which brand even offers 12V?!, Not Many
Any chance you could point me where to get these online? Tried finding from europe but english search doesnt come up with much -.-
Yeah, you can't get close to half of that with other companies that give you a warranty. Maybe it is even impossible to buy all of that stuff from questionable stores on the internet with no warranty. Have you tried the tools out already? What are your thoughts?
@@BrokeLifeEU The Hammer Drill is very nice, on the Heavy site as u mentioned, but i prefer it over the Green, but if i have the Chance i'll go get the Performance one which weights less (yeah, i have a spending Problem :d)
Them other tools i don't had much Chance to test by now, but i'm rather confident by seeing ur Video, that
My Green 20V Impact Drill will retire
My Green 20V SDS Hammer Drill will retire
The Angle Grinder will help me ALOT
Working on my Car in the Future.
And i also think that the sds Hammer will be used alot to get rid of Plaster and stuff in the Future, but i will see, i got the 20V Performance Hammer and i also love this one alot
These Tools are just Awesome in the way, that they are sufficient for almost everything a normal Person will do in his everyday Car/House Projects
@@BrokeLifeEU Thanks for your reply. That's a good news. I'm going to buy a drill hammer.

sometimes i find that the parkside brushed versions are more powerful than the brusless ones let me know what you think
Goodjob !
Thank you!

They do look a bit like that, however in reality they are very different and don‘t fit M12 tools unfortunately.

Love the video! Did you get the 12v sanders as well?
Thank you! Unfortunately I did run out of money and so the sanders and jigsaw I left out… sorry! But there are a couple of other great videos on the sanders and I might get the jugsaw if this video justifies its cost.
Merci
How much the bit jiggle inside the pbspa 12v hammer one, wiggle? I have the old version c3 and the bit wiggle a lot
If they will be sold in RO i would buy the impact driver and the cutoff wheel, very nice tools.
Parkside performance, I never saw them in UK.
Not really a UK thing it seems, although quite popular in other countries. Should be available in the UK too as for they price they are really decent!
Please review the onevan gen 2 2800 1/2 impact please
Was just looking at that today! I need to save up a bit in order to buy it. However I will try my best!
Yes the 13mm chuck was a welcome change but I never thought to try it on the other drills. I will for sure test this out and update!
