    I think all the viewers will benefit a lot if we include designing of all things like, staircase,ground and roof water tank, columns,beams,slabs,foundation etc and include report, all loads dead,live,wind,earthquake,combination loads etc. in one tutorial and show it on you tube

    Sir, I have a doubt, in this video at the time 13:34 when you zoom in render view, you can see the corner columns and beams does not have proper joint. Will this has some effect on the structure? Please elaborate that point.

      Dear Namdev,
      Here we are modelling centre to centre so even though in render view u r seeing offset load transmission and calculation will be correct.. because our modelling is centre to centre

    What is the rule the given section of beam and column??
    here give the beam and column dimensional 250 * 500.
    I want to know what is the rule the selecting the section is this dimension is there any specific rule????

      For preliminary sizing u can use span/13 for beam and for column u have to calculate tributary area and then using column formula P=(.4FckAc+.67FyAsc) find out the size of column

    sir, wether the length of column which is gone under the ground is consider as depth of foundation?

      Yes Shailesh, that length of column will depend on soil report...in soil report founding depth will be mentioned so accordingly you have to model it to get exact reactions for footing design.
