In STADD we did not model the slab because when we use plate element to model slab the stiffness of plate is very much higher and all the forces and bending moment will be taken by the slab. Compare the bending moment in beams with and without modeling the slab. If you model the slab then you have to considered that slab also taking part in earthquake forces.
This is really informative, I learned a lot from this video; Beam, Column, and Slab Design in one kick. Quick question, how do you get/resolve the warning sign, and what does it mean for your design? Plus, can u repeat a similar video with different slabs dimensions?
Thanks.....Video is very good but speed is high. Please make a complete video for beam, slab, column, chajja, staircase and foundation design for multistorey building.
9:36 As(%) used in your design is 0.5% but minimum limit is 0.8%. Similarly in my design, the As% is 0.67 and min. Limit is 0.8% as per IS code. So sir how can we rectify this mistake. Thanks.
Hello sir...i am cofused by the no. And fia of bars which comes after rcc design as per is 456 2000...is that bars are enough for practical use... which comes 10 and 12mm in every Beam...in anyone reading my comments plz reply
It is the final reinforcement as per our assumed load cases but in real projects we will take more load cases then it will give you proper reinforcement
For this we have to perform design which is not shown in this video. Only the analysis part has been shown here. While designing the software itself will show whether the beam columns are passing or failing for any particular load.
In slab design report, it is showing AS P. and AS R. What does that mean? Please simplify the report. How to conclude the analysis report and give details to the contractor?
ASP is area of steel to be provided ASR is area of steel to be required with the help of the report will conclude the Ast required and Ast Provided then we need to give extra reinforcement for slab element which is greater that Ast for our safety......
VERY SERIOUS MISTAKE YOU COMMITED . YOU HAVE TAKEN INDIVIDUAL LOAD CASE FOR DESIGN . YOU SHOULD ENETR LOAD COMBINATION OF DEAD LOAD AND LIVE LOAD WITH APPROPRIATE FACTOR. BECAUSE DEAD LOAD AND LIVE LOAD ARE ACTING SIMULATANOUSLY
Done Wounderful. Super....
Continue.......
Super... It is very helpful to me.
At 5:17 how you showed deflection...by pressing which key...
Use roll in mouse and control button
Thank u sir..it's really helpful to all of us...great job
It's my pleasure
Thank for ur videos I always support u ...!!👌
thanks for your vdo.
Nice video.
Thanks from your great video, it really helped me :)
Thank you bro

nice sir ji, Thank you sir

excellent
Thank you very much
Excellent but you are too fast to be followed specially for the beginners . Thank You!
Definitely I will try to reduce my speed from my next video
@@civilengineeringbyshravan9596 no speed is really good, for people feeling high speed, tell them pause and seppd reduction option is there in TH-cam
Sbc is not required?
Thanks.....Video is very good but speed is high. Please make a complete video for beam, slab, column, chajja, staircase and foundation design for multistorey building.
thanks man!
Sir
How to find out no. Of bar and bar size and spacing for slab design in staad pro
Super
Thank you 👍🏻
plz post a video modelling flat slab with drop and column head ;
Sure I will do as soon as possible
@@civilengineeringbyshravan9596
Load applied on structure video upload pls
Nice
Thank you 👍🏻
how did you cheak the deflection just after analysis

I am also suffering from this problem

Thanks a lot.....can you design a building with maximum load assuming which will give final details which we can share to client
Nice one but just a question d slab with is always 100mm don't understand dat even when using a different value of slab width
How to put frames of different size for an entire house analysis. Frame dimensions changes according to the room dimensions, how to do that?
Dear Sir, Why we take BS code into account once IS456 is adopted.
for slab members design I was assumed BS code
Hello sir..... kindly tell me how I can do permanent of trail version of staad pro
How to set secondary beams?? and column anywhere??
Pls do interactive concert design in staddpro...
Definitely
How to check slab reinforcement just like beam and column please tell us
Sir I have one dought ,can you clarify me ....how do we found proper size of columns, beams and plate thickness
For this we have to perform design which is not shown in this video. Only the analysis part has been shown here. While designing the software itself will show whether the beam columns are passing or failing for any particular load.
I can't move on to foundation design. No option for ''run as staad foundation / advanced staad foundation'' will you please help
Text me to my mail I will share u Software link
Can I have your email id

convert the LL load from 2.5kN-m2 to kN-m to the contour of the beams?

Ok sure 👍🏻
Can u please share steel truss design through stad pro.
Definitely I will explain u soon
Bhai hame bhi sikha do yar thoda dhire se.
Sorry I want to know how to know Area steel min. Can you tell me please thank you
Good one but too too fast for beginners
i didn't understand why the slab divided in three part during surface creating
the way he model the slsb is wrong
Many details are missing..
Please check it once again
You can contact me for exact explanation
