I have visited 82 countries and Lebanon is definitely in my TOP 3 !!! Amazing nature, very rich culture and history, very welcoming and friendly people, crazy nightlife and very yummy food (I mean really really yummy) ! Beirut has it all ❤ ❤
It must be heartwarming from a French point of view, to see so many Airbus airliners being used by so many different international airlines and flag-carriers.
In the case of a standard turnaround, that's when an aircraft arrives in after having completed one flight before it sets out on another flight there usually isn't really that much time for cleaning staff to do a deep clean. That will have to wait until a future date.
I loved your line: Nevertheless the best entertainment is still outside, too true - I couldn't agree with you more, some of the fantastic scenery the world has to offer can beat most films or television programmes. However when darkness descends, it's still useful to have IFE on the back of the chair in front of you.
Just watching as an Air France a320 arrives from London Heathrow but did you know that London is actually much closer to Paris than it is to Edinburgh!😮
All instructions and communications were done in French, English, Arabic I am sure. How impressive to see the nice skyscrapers of Beirut and then the airport and right next to the Air France was a Lebanese airliner plane. Is the airport modern and with lots of international airline carriers from all over?
How do the terminals look like now after the lockdowns and isolation due to covid19. All those marks on the nice marble floors and nice walls and glass is gone or is it still around as a horrific eyesore. CDG International Airport is huge but so well lid and clean and modern. I have never been to the UK or used Heathrow but Terminal 5 which is British Airways videos looked so down trodden, dark, dingy, and almost dirty and the passengers have to go up and down long long corridors to get to the planes very unappealing and challenging for any age. CDG in Paris, France is huge but it looks so appealing, so modern, so clean and well lid the passenger tunnels to the planes clean and all glass to let the natural light in.
Ah !!!

You wouldn't survive 1 day in Lebanon before you were desperate to leave.

Approach and landing view at Beirut is stunning. I love it.
