Monster Mash was second and Ghost Riders In The Sky was his third one.

One word (may be a few more) to the beatboxing statement of Mr. Trivia. It is Layne Stein, who does the incredible beatboxing in Voiceplay. Geoff does the baseline in the songs (when not singing in the front). Both, Geoff and Layne, take turns arranging almost all Voiceplay songs.

The Ghost Riders song is based on old Native American stories The Native Americans, possibly Apache, who lived within Cochise County, believed that when souls vacate their physical bodies, they reside as spirits in the sky, resembling ghost riders. This got passed around until it became this song. Geoff has his usual backing selves. Fans have their favourite in this , mine is the one with the moustache and the deep deep voice. He looks really dangerous, and I'm a sucker for bad boys. :) But having said that I'm also in love with Geoff in Shenandoah. :) Haloween? The Headless Horseman, or The Monster Mash.

@@madtv112 Absolutely. :) By the way, regarding my surname, my ex-husbands' grandfather was from Stockholm.
I do believe we have influences from several areas at play.
In Scandinavia we have the tradition of the Odin's hunt. It usually takes place around New Years. Then, if you hear thunders in the skyes, it's attributed to Odin who is out chasing trolls and witches and other creatures. In other countries you have the Wild Hunt and Hearne the hunter doing similar things. In the big melting pot of the US there are many influences that conglomerate.
The fact about the Native spirits was new to me and have certainly contributed.

@@madtv112 I don't know to much of the background of these stories other then both are written by Edger Allen Poe a well-known American Author known for his Poems and Short Stories. The Raven is probably the most well-known of his work, and is regarded as one of the greatest influencers of Gothic Fiction.
Poe was born in 1809 and died in 1849 ( under unknown circumstances) and has a tragic life starting with his Dad leaving and his Mom death a year later before he was even 5. He lost his wife (his cousin) about 10-11 years after they their marriage.
I'm not sure why Geoff chose to narrat these stories, but I'm glad he did. Both were released before he started cloning himself and creating amazing videos.

Varken Geoff eller VoicePlay släppte nån ny hel sång förra månaden - bara minis. Anledningen var att Geoff med familj fick covid. 🤒
Som flera redan påpekat, har Geoff två till halloweensånger från tidigare år. Headless Horseman och Monster Mash. VoicePlays Kidnap the Sandy Claws och förra årets Hide and Seek är också bra halloweenlåtar. Tack för shoutout och nu väntar jag på nästa video. 😊👍

If you check the notes below the video you'll see the names of the ghosts surrounding Geoff. Darryl's the one in the long brown duster. And the one on the other side of Geoff is left handed, where all the other are right handed.

Okay im sorry . Sometimes they can be little off im trying my best here. 😫
@@madtv112I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. Geoff can beatbox, but only the basics. He has done it on a couple Voiceplay videos and did teach Layne some basics when Layne moved from baritone to vocal percussion.
But he NEVER does on his own videos. They are not a capella and he does use piano, harmonica, and computer plugins for other instruments, drums and sound effects.
Well they are still super cool. Im thining of making a capella covers like them myself , i now seen homefree , vp , and artist from each band on own "projects" and all that stops me is my fear that it wont be good 😬 i might seem very confident but That is far from the truth when it comes to new things . ❤️🤪🤫//MaD
