There's no other on any of the videos I've EVER seen as good as you are explaining every step ...you deffinetly get the #1 vote for the best teacher ...period.. you're awsome Nick
Love your tutorials, Nick. By the way, has anybody ever told you that you have a catchphrase? It's "Let's bring the opacity down about in half." You use it so systematically that I've gotten used to anticipating it. Your videos don't feel complete to me unless I hear you say it. Anyway, keep up the awesome work. You're the guy who opened my eyes to the power and potential of Inkscape.
You make these easy to understand! but sometimes copying what you do is not the exact same like the align tool sometimes doesnt do what i see you doing , causing me to play around with it to get it to do what i want. However your tutorials make these complex ideas doable, so thank you
I'm a huge fan of your work, i have a request for you. I wonder if is possible on Inkscape to save actions, layer styles or text style, like you can do on Illustrator or Photoshop, to apply same effect on different designs, I was researching and i think is possible using XML editor or SVG filters. Can you make a tutorial about that? in case you know how to use it, thanks, keep the good work!!!!
Hello Nick I love your tutorials I learn how to use inkscape thanks to you I have a question for you someone sent me a photo and I'm trying to separate the photo from the text how do I do that please help
Nick, as always, thank you very much. Got a week off from teaching so will do the Thai alphabet to teach the local children .... only 44 characters, 34 vowels, and several tone inflection marks. That is going to be a lot of "Research" time. :-) West
Good question. I know that can be easily done with Illustrator but I'm not completely sure if it can with Inkscape. I haven't seen any settings that will allow that.
I really learn inkscape watching his tutorials... Awesome man

The digits are not the same height, which looks odd. They are 10, 9, 9 and 8 blocks high from left to right.

Awesome, enjoy!
If I build a building from this how would it look like
Looks great and fun to recreate, the 8 is strange though, because the middle piece is not connected :)
Thanks. Yeah it can be tricky making things look right and using the proper number of blocks

Hey Nick
Does it cost any money to get a logo Made by you?
Yes unfortunately I have to pay bills and whatnot, so I have to charge for my work.
hey nick
i'm working on the disintegration effect but at the part of the cracks the white wont go away can you help me?

8 is not a legal combination :-)
Interesting challenge.
There are multiple Lego CAD tools if you want to do Lego art in a more simple way :-)
Even axonometric grid would be easier
The digit 8 is physically impossible.
On the top of the block, you should've put LOGO replacing the word LEGO on normal LEGO blocks.
Smh
Make a RiceGum thumbnail
I'm not sure what that is - any chance you could elaborate?
Nice dog Nick ;)... 14:35
