- Ello! Well Autumn is well under way and I was expecting passing river traffic to slow a little but it’s still busy! A big shout out to everyone one that spotted me, waved and said hello! I’m always thrilled when that happens. If you spotted me or saw yourselves then let me know in the comments as it would be great to hear from you. I hope you enjoy today’s video. ☺️
That was me at around 15 min waving at you on rhapsody, I was the one towing the inflatable .
@@oursailingstory8410 Hello! 👋 thanks for waving! So pleased you did!
Was great to have a proper long chat with you on this day 😀😀
It was bud! I’m so glad you came over and said hello! Let me know next time you are about we can put the world to rights again!
It's great when people on the curisers say hello to you and you get to meet your subscibers.
@@SW-cu6bw It’s fabulous! Where have you been hiding? I haven’t seen you in ages! Hope you are okay.
@@jonnytreehouse We are all fine here. Have been walking locally recently. One dog (youngest sausage} had a pulled muscle about a month back so she was on rest in other words she was in my backpack when we went out! Shall have to pop down to Ludham and see you.
@@SW-cu6bw Poor little sausage. I hope she’s better now. It’s always great to see you so I look forward to it.
Good evening Jonny, Monday morning has rolled around again, it’s six forty five am here and twelve degrees going to twenty nine degrees Celsius today. I thought that the boat near the beginning with all the big black fenders looked a bit strange. Perhaps he’d been hit a lot lol 😢. Have a good week, thank you for the video. From Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Thanks Scott! Always great to hear from you! Things must be warming up for you now over there! I’m not sure the make of the boat you mentioned but once seen a lot on the broads, they are slowly being sold off by the yards. Too much for me to handle on my own mind even if I had the cash to buy one lol. I hope you are doing ok bud despite the early hour!
Hi there, we are booked to be down there from the 14th, if you are still filming we will be sure to give you a wave...
If you are still there on the 20th then I’ll be there and will look forward to a wave 👋
We were up last week Jonny but didn't even try Ludha m Bridge. Had an 8ft 3 boat. Plenty of other places to go though
You would have got through no problem. 8ft 6 boats were getting through
Allo FIRST !
😂
and dont forget its free to do so!
😂
That wooden boat with the green cover and looks to be a fishing net on the side has been there all year it use to be around Sutton way I pass it regularly but I’d love to know how on earth they get a way with leaving it there since last year with no notices on it or anything it baffles me as I’m sure if we left our boat there any longer then 24 hours the BA would slap a notice on it!
It’s on public moorings taking up valuable space but for some reason the BA leave it alone must be something to do with a member of staff at the BA hence why they are getting away with leaving it there for getting on a year now maybe we should give our expensive moorings up that all us private boat owners have to pay year in year out and go moor with it for free well if they can get a way with it why can’t the rest of us
If I’m wrong I’ll stand in corrected but a lot of people I here are asking the same questions about it and how it’s in fair on everybody else who religiously pays there way and pay a lot of money a year out on a mooring
It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s not even tolled 😂
It’s not tolled, I checked. That side is not controlled by the BA. It’s down to the land owners to do something about it. I’m not sure who owns that mooring though.
Thank you for shining some light on it mate it’s Funny I didn’t think it would be tolled it’s crazy how some just get a way with it then others have to pay we even had the BA walking round our marina the other day checking boats have paid there tolls and slapping notices on ones that arnt but then that one can sit there bold as punch and the BA leave it alone it’s incredible then they tell us there putting a 12% extra charge on our tolls for next year!
I didint realise it was a private moorings there as there is a BA water point and bins and iv seen the BA repairing key heading there before so was always sure it was rather rented to the BA or they owned it something stinks about the hole thing with that boat iv seen it sat at Sutton over a year ago on public moorings haveing work done on it and seen it further down Sutton broad moored on wild moorings with the live aboards then about a year ago it turned up there and hasn’t moved since maybe I’ll put the question to the BA in an email and ask the question why the owner of it is allowed to get away with it normally I’d live and let live and say good luck to them but mr packman has rubbed so many up the wrong way and continues to do so and putting tolls up ridiculously every year on private boats and hire craft boats to witch is damaging companies and forcing people to sell up
Then you get boats like this that get a way with it where as the rest of us wouldn’t
Thank you for a great video tho mate and hopefully pass you soon and I’ll give you a wave 👋
