wow , what a busy day today , & what lovely weather too , there seems to be alot of big boats out , makes you wonder how much bigger they'll get .

Sadly most don't realise how danergous playing around on boats can be, and sadder still is the fact that many don't seem to pick up how to handle a boat very quickly at all.......the buggering about with dogs shd have been done waaay before the bridge, maybe the boat that was returning to the yard had issues - as i can't believe it needed thrusters to be continually used to steer the thing and finally - 'wet man'; the back of some of those boats does entice trying to get on/off from there, but frankly that's bloody dangerous (use the sides), worse - unless it was a diff engine we could hear, seems the driver didn't kill the engine straightaway; biggest lessons folks shd figure out: wear the lifejackets, do everything slower than the speed which you thought was ok, never 'jump' off a boat, remember a boat has a pivot point - it skates around that (unlike a car which has 4 tyres with friction) - and stop the frigging engine/get it into neutral soon as there's someone in the water.

Good evening Jonny, thank you for another very busy and noisy video. I look forward to your video on Monday morning, it’s sunny and five degrees here. You even managed a traffic jam, it doesn’t get better than that! Someone mentioned that they wish more people would try sailing, I agree, a had a twenty four foot yacht which I sailed on Sydney harbour, it was wonderful but very busy in the weekends. Sailing on the broads would be fun I think. I have rambled on enough, have a good week, from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

Thanks for a real taste of summer, loved the video. I noticed one of the cruisers looked wheelchair accessible, do you know its name and is it available to hire. As a full time wheelchair user I would love a boating holiday but never thought it would be possible. Cheers Clive

It's not often you see a rubber dinghy on the Broads. So busy (and noisy) down there today. The Wherries always remind me of silent and majestic beauties as they glide past. Impatient people on the water, in my opinion, should not be on the water! Hope you have a good week and you did not get sunburnt today.

It was extremely busy down there. I bet you did not know where to point the camera! I thought the lady on the other side of the bridge throwing whatever at the poor ducks looked as if she was aiming at coconuts at the funfair! 😂😂😂 The wooden cruiser which moored up next to you was such a beautiful boat. No modern cruiser could ever compete with its beauty. I think Mills needs her own parasol and cool mat with personal fan waver.....

Wow , that was busy today , richos said that they've not got many boats out , but there seems to be alot of the big expensive boats out , so they'll still be making some money , it was nice to see white moth out , she's a very wide wherry , bur beautiful .

I don’t understand all this . I have a narrow boat which I liveaboard and can often cruise a whole day and only meet a dozen or so boats coming the other way . Often less . The Broads look like bedlam

Oh bless her, I miss having a dog but I still get to spend time with my daughter’s dog, house sitting for her soon. Two weeks of doggy cuddles and walks, bliss.

Hi Jonny, good evening, it’s 5:55am here on Monday and three degrees, I’m still tucked up in bed with the electric blanket on! Thank you for a rather serene video. Very relaxing after watching all the videos of Trump’s attempted assassination. It rained there! Well I never! Lol 😂. We have had some beautiful days here and have been able to sit outside the front door with the umbrella up and even complaining about the heat at one time. However, it starts getting cold about three o’clock. I’m glad that the angry boater just went away. Enough of my old man ramblings, have a good week. From Sydney Australia 🇦🇺

i think alot of people ignore that demasting area , but to actually say , So What ,after he banged your boat , how selfish is that , it looked pretty quiet down there today .

oh my word it just proves you have to respect the river, wind and bridge oh and the size of your boat.

Always remember, for every angry boater there are hundreds of nice boaters out there! Bet the guy was a bully at school....

Good For you m8, And respect for asking the chap if he was ok with you showing his slip up. I have spent the last 50 years on the broads, and the wooden sidings can get very very slippy, and mossy with very little rain, at least he did no major damage good for him.

it looked quite busy to me , i don't know what was happening with that dayboat either , looked like they'd had a few to me lol , i bet milly does'nt want to go home now he's gotten comfortable on the boat .

I remember The London Rascal saying a few years ago that the clearance on the bridge is actually 6 inches more than it says on the board .So if it reads 8ft ,there's actually 8ft 6in clearance! But then again ,i guess it depends on whether it's silted up a bit since then! The River Ouse in York, where I live, has silted up quite a lot over the past decade or more since they stopped dredging!

This week I was at James Paget Hospital and the nurse was telling me that some of their best customers come from the Norfolk Broads, what with broken ankles, legs, injured shoulders etc , the Broads certainly keep them in business. Which I know I am making light of but please be careful when out on your holiday boat. You dont want to spoil your holiday and easily done by jumping off of boats.

Good evening Jonny, it’s 6:12am here and still dark, sunrise is at 7:00am today. Thank you for another, this time a rather tranquil, video. After getting myself caught up in the hurley burley of the UK election it was a great contrast. Did you notice the old cars crossing the bridge near the beginning of your video? I think that they were a couple of Morgans followed by a Jaguar. The people who were concerned about the height of their boat were responsible and knew about how to handle a boat, I think. Was Mills adopted? We have three cats 🐈🐈🐈 here who were all rescued for one reason or another. All are wonderful to have around. Enough for now. Have a great week. Mills has grown into such a confident dog due to the care and love you have given her. Such a shame the weather was so awful for anyone out on the water but I hope they are all enjoying their time here on the Broads!

Can’t wait to be on the boat again this week hopefully no one will go in. Last week I helped a lady that feel off a boat she leaped from hurting her leg. She was bruised thankfully not to bad.
