In this vlog I travel from Wisconsin to Missouri hauling something I ironically don't consume.....beer. I went to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to pickup the delivery from THE Miller beer company. I even got to see the exact house where the company started in the 1850s. Even though I don't drink I love exploring old buildings so this was an awesome experience!
On the way to Missouri I encountered a really really really bad rainstorm and almost got into an accident. The delivery I got weighed a whopping 45,000 lbs which was the heaviest delivery I've ever made. Crazy. With all that weight behind me it was extremely difficult to stop. Braking took about half a mile. During the rainstorm the combination of the extremely heavy load and the bad weather conditions almost caused me to get into an accident. Luckily I kept safe following distance and was paying attention to what was ahead of me. Goes to show how quick things can change if you're not paying attention with this job. Luckily I'm an overly cautious driver which I believe is what prevented that accident from happening.

I am a 22 year old traveling the United States that posts day in the life vlogs of a truck driver. I attended CFI's trucking school at crowder college and have been a truck driver since August 2021 but recently switched to work for a trucking company named Variant after watching a TON of Variant trucking driver reviews . I got into trucking because I've always wanted to live life on the road since I was 18 years old. Originally I was going to do vanlife but decided to live the trucking life instead because it was a better financial decision. I mean I have free housing and I travel the U.S. It's awesome! I mean what job other than trucking can you listen to podcasts while you work and travel the country for free???
