Anti-venom is just a even more powerful symbiote in the game. In the comics, it was powered by Mr negative's powers. When i played the game at first, anti-venom truly almost made me crap my pants.I was even scared at the end when i was fighting the last anti venom boss fight. I gotta give it to beenox for making such a great game.
I would say it is just as powerful as the comics version, except the game version took advantage of the fact that Anti-Venom could drain Spider-Man's powers("healing" him of radiation), not focusing on the healing part that the comics mainly did. Plus because of the mind control Anti-Venom in the game could go beserk and angry similar to Venom unlike the comics counterpart which Brock is fully under control and tries to be a superhero of sorts.

For Spider-Man to recognise Anti Venom would mean he should already be aware of his powers and how dangerous he is because one of his first encounters with Anti Venom involved Anti Venom almost killing him by draining his powers, I would think Spidey would have been a bit more carful around him at first. Obviously there came a point when he didn't really have a choice but to fight Anti Venom but that first encounter was a risk Peter shouldn't have taken.

-dad took my xbox and all my games when i was a kid -fast forward im 17, living w my parents and working w my dad in his office cleaning - find the xbox, bring it home, (its been years but hes still strict ab it so he tells me to move it into the garage and not to touch it) -fast forward till im 18, parents are super lenient ab stuff, i take the xbox and set it up and boot up this game -being able to relive the story from scratch again actually allows me to come at it from a different angle and get good at the combos. -enjoy the hell out of the game 40x more

Technically that’s what he is. The Anti-Venom Symbiote was brought about by the original Symbiote cells remaining in Eddie’s system being turned into the negative version of itself by Mr. Negative at the F.E.A.S.T Homeless shelter. Which actually works well as the whole reason Eddie had cancer in the first place was actually because of the Symbiote itself.

-dad took my xbox and all my games when i was a kid
-fast forward im 17, living w my parents and working w my dad in his office cleaning
- find the xbox, bring it home, (its been years but hes still strict ab it so he tells me to move it into the garage and not to touch it)
-fast forward till im 18, parents are super lenient ab stuff, i take the xbox and set it up and boot up this game
-being able to relive the story from scratch again actually allows me to come at it from a different angle and get good at the combos.
-enjoy the hell out of the game 40x more
I liked this game, but I hated the future Peter Parker being the villain twist.
I think that was a cool twist not gonna lie, setting up 2 awesome final boss for both spider men, and i make sense.

Fun fact, the writer of the 2099 comics worked on the story and Peter being the leader of Alchemax is from a scrapped story after the series was cancelled.

Technically that’s what he is. The Anti-Venom Symbiote was brought about by the original Symbiote cells remaining in Eddie’s system being turned into the negative version of itself by Mr. Negative at the F.E.A.S.T Homeless shelter. Which actually works well as the whole reason Eddie had cancer in the first place was actually because of the Symbiote itself.
@@seanrutherford728 God I hate that part from Cates run. Brock literally had cancer before the Symbiote was with him so how in the fuuuuck could Venom have faked his cancer after Mr. Negative cured it. And the whole Eddie never really had a sister is the other dumbest fucking thing Cates changed.
