  • I ride the the most controversial motorcycle and BIKE OF THE YEAR 2016 of India, the Yamaha YZF R3. This is completely my opinion and not a review as I had the bike for 3 days in the magnificent film city, Mumbai. This is just the city opinion and isn't the same for the track.
    Thanks for watching. Do share if you liked ;)

    Neatly reviewed Prathik. I loved it. But you didnt complete what you gonna say when compared with a Ninja 300. I was keenly looking for it and you got distracted with the ABS :D

      Ali, Both bikes gives almost same mileage. But N300 is more fun man. And when you swing your leg over any of these two, we never think of mileage. You will twist your throttle again again and again. Fun fun fun :D

    I dont get why its controversial? Its a small-medium bike for the city and some short highway, here in mexico city serves me very well Its very small so i can get in the middle of the traffic and has very speedy response to overtake maybe too much because in a matter of seconds you can get to 120km/h and then you have to stop the thing in a very short distance with out ABS (here in MX we dont get the ABS version). Its also very very light and with a slipon the sound get better. The sit position is very comfortable. For street riding is the perfect sports bike for everyday for the highway you maybe short in CC u can stay in the 100-160kmh range but above that the bike will be forced a lot if you keep that speed for a long period.

    killer review bro, and yeah disappointment in the abs, would be nice if they offered it as a option and ninja 300 is a good 50-60k more exp than the r3. And finally someone whos made a fair comparison with the rc390, kudos .

    Thank you for the video! Definetly i'm going to buy one (saving money), the road conditions in India are practically the same as here in Colombia, and the R3 handles very well as you show in the video. I was a liltte worried about low end torque but climbing that hill with a passenger erases all my doubts. It's the perfect bike for my needs, the best bike in 300 class by far.

    90% chances my next bike will be YZF-R3
    things I will do after getting her
    1. Remove and throw the saree guard anywhere in the garage or sell it to bhangar wala .
    2. I will flip the clipons left to right n viceversa to make it lower set ( with 2 drills )
    3. will order rear sets
    4. pirellis dont make huge diff. ( told by one of frnd ) will see about it..

    WTF? @ 3:43. ...hahaha @ 'Oh Shit' 8:26 ;) We had these R3's released in Aussie around mid last year & come standard with ABS and respectable quality tyres (michelin pilots). I think Yamaha have hit a home run with these, the only thing that I don't like is that the mirrors don't allow to view directly behind. Here in Aussie, the main market is mostly new & learner riders, but they're also well suited for commuters and, have ample capability for anyone who wants a small & value for money bike for some touring riding. This year, the MT03 is also available (& slightly cheaper) for those who prefer the non fairing style. Being that these are a totally new engineered bike from Yamaha to replace the R2.5 and, that the ninja 3oo is old hat & been around a while now, to me the R3 is far better than the ninja 300 in every aspect. In my opinion, anyone who buys one of these, won't be disappointed. ...Happy riding dude's ;)

    Are you a bindaas? Using your bike for Majnu? Perhaps looking for a mast item hai re? Must be a good life. By the way, you've got to get out of India and get on an American road if you really want to enjoy your bike. ; ) But I must be honest, after leaving India's traffic to America, you be way ahead of most here when it comes to traffic jams and obstacles... no sweat at all -- you are in the training ground -- your traffic is insane; pure madness.

    i love my R3. i been riding dirt bikes since i was 6 and had to run beside my dirt bike to ride i was so short. my dad and i uped the HP by 20. this bike has plenty of power stock even. and its so lite u can man candle it in traffic. even a new rider can ride this lite bike. and still kill himself at high speeds if thats what he wants. lol

      No dude get an R15 it's a 150cc bike best for beginners.This is a 300cc bike without ABS quite risky to ride on Indian roads!

      @AmjadAliSyd 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      rohit satish thats tough to select from these two bikes maybe r3 is a better option because the motor is smooth in both conditions low revs and high revs its designed that (r3) it would keep you happy whether you want to ride fast or just cruise thats how Yamaha built the bike for this purpose so that you can choose the way you want to ride and the bike may behave just the way you want it to

    I think they should call it YAMAHA R3-I where "I" stands for India. Because there is big difference in the above R3 and the imported version. This above is slower in acceleration and top speed limited to 185kmph and comes with crappy tires and still giving that low mileage, then why decrease the acceleration and top speed when there is no gain. The imported version is faster in acceleration and 20kmph faster in top speed(that is a very big margin).

    • @DarkKnight-sy6ip
      @DarkKnight-sy6ip 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope, no difference engine wise.The indian versions also can achieve a speed of 196kmph.The indian version gets bad mrf zappers whereas the American and European versions get Michelin street pilots.
