@Aznvasions First of all, mate, I really love your content. It's always very detailed and well explained. Hey - notable melee weapons for this include: * Dorrclave - entirely Slash. So you can run a build with all the +slash mods and minimum rank viral mods in order to have extremely well-weighted Slash procs and minimum Viral, and nothing else. * Silva & Aegis - entirely Heat, which is an interesting one because Heat only ever builds in intensity as you apply more procs, and each new proc refreshes the entire stack. So a Slash build has a theoretical maximum DPS output, but Heat can hypothetically keep building higher and higher. Note as well that this means synergy with Archon Vitality for even faster Heat build up. This might have additional use if DE introduce high-health unarmoured enemies (Infested rework with Infested Liches? maybe. There are lots of Murmur designed like this as well). * The Pupacyst, Pathocyst, and Plague Zaw weapons. They have inherent Viral, which means you can mod them for Toxin and have them as great Corpus killers, being able to bypass Shields with the main Toxin damage, but also multiply it with Viral. Also note that with Archon Continuity, every Toxin proc is also a Corrosive proc, so you get Toxin damage, Corrosive AND Viral. There will be plenty of other examples too, Electric and/or Gas would be great as they do well against large numbers of grouped-up enemies (though, as you cannot have those and mod for Corrosive, then you'd be reliant on your 4 which I've noticed spreads weirdly while enemies are ragdolled) I notice you are using Umbral Intensify, when Archon Intensify is triggered by Sandstorm's healing effect.
I did something similar, only I used 5 red shards for the strength. Removed transient fortitude and replaced it with augur secrets. You get 317str and 155 duration to make sure you get the full rotation. You really do not need the blue shards.
First thing I did after reading the rework for the first time this morning was go back to your old video on sandstorm, and i was like, ok everything here is still relevant except now everything is better lol. spent a good part of today messing around with this. Glad you were able to put out a throwback to this build.
Thanks for this. I always remember keeping some new players alive in survival with Inaros' scarab healing, nice to see him have use again. Would kind of like to see the storm chasing after a Volt.
This is pretty nuts, I'm excited to see your other builds for him as you have great understanding of the jank math in this game and I always enjoy your builds
Personally I went with Dorrclave because it's pure slash because I figured it didn't take the weight of the damage types into account. Will still probably keep using Dorrclave because I won't ever have to worry about the remote possibility of an impact or puncture status lol.
Yup, I just kept Glaive to discuss the Dispatch Overdrive situation, though it's not as important anymore due to the massive speed buff Pablo gave Sandstorm. Interestingly, Galatine was the OG, because due to quantization mechanics for damage calcs, it's treated as a 100% slash weapon with 0 puncture and impact lol
You should do a full PSA video for this update. Some really sneaky interesting stuff in the patch. I just noticed that the "Swift Punishment" evolution on Latron incarnon NOW HAS A 1.2 SPRINT SPEED QUALIFIER. Apparently, it always has, and up until this update, was MISSING that part of it.
there is some fun Iframes combo with Scarab Shell and rolling guard or Arcane Deflection. I have tested some of his new passive but it doesn't scale a lot with anything
THIS!! First thing I did when I saw this reworked eyesore of an ability was tell my son that this is one of the most fun abilities in the game now. Spin2Win baby!
If you put 2 green shards on him for extra corossive procs and use your last ability then use sand storm you can kill lvl 250 SP in 3 seconds using silva& ageis heat build with only 200 strength on your roar leaving you a couple mod slots one of which should be Archon vitality for more survivability and double heat procs.
Contagious Bond will turn the mecha set into a Saryn Spores style nuke. I've been running the mecha set with contagious bond with all my frames that lack AoE potential. It would really bump up the KPM provided you have enough sprint speed to keep up.
I did something different where I use Terrify with Elemental Sand Storm doesn't need as much power strength but still nukes. I also use durega for energy I never run out. Its a little clunkey but fun build.
With the "Slam changes" now slams can deal critical hits and scale with mods. I tried tenet exec and it was applying status effects with light slams but not with heavys, if you want to take a look at it.(I even oneshotted the Mania with single 2x heavy slam.)
Weird question but : Wouldn't it be better for an all rounder to change continuity to archon continuity as it will also proc corrosive, allowing you to do a ton of dmg But then you can also put archon shard to get the corrosive armor strip ?
Please could you recommend a finisher melee build for inaros now,? Preferably a dagger. I've been trying your innodem build from last year and it doesn't seem to hold up. Need something that's great with light attacks and can still one shot steel path
This one was fun! But both the un-colorable thick "atmosphere" graphics of the sandstorm, and the fact that in a lot of tilesets with low enough ceilings the knot of units stuck in the vortex end up right in front of your face making it very hard to see. I feel like I would get a headache if I did a long enough endurance run with this. I already spend most of my time looking at the heads up map, but this near blindness is something new. Maybe we can get a few visual tweaks of this ability from DE as it seems like if you ARE the sandstorm you should get some special dispensation from irritating sand in the eyes. 🤣
One thing i would add to inaros rework is the smooth recast of sandstorm that you have on wukongs cloudwalker. Its a little annoying to have to wait for the animation to finish to be able to recast sandstorm again.
Now this is the kind of build I was hoping to find for the rework!! 🤩 in the scenario that you take him into SP circuit and you don't have a companion, what would you switch the mecha mod out for?
Since infinite combo is technically no longer an option bar a couple weapons, do you think Kullervo's new augment would be any good for maintaining high combo alongside a Manifold Bond Panzer? For a universal heavy attack build?
Dorrclave Inaros I've been using it ever since that weapon came out. All cause of your original inaros build. Mine is usually 3x umbral, sandstorm augment, blind rage, transient, equilib, mecha mods, power drift. Arcanes augmented and blessing since equil is already in the mod slot for orb pickup. I've only been thinking about dropping umbra armor and transient for rolling guard+continuity since I would have sandstorm's duration to rolling guard's CD.
I get the minmax thing to do is go with weapon that only does slash like Dorrclave or Galatine, but does it work out if you go for a weapon that has like a 80-90% slash ratio work out acceptably?
@@SocratesWasRight Yup figured it out. I ended up going with Tenet Livio because it's 90% slash and I can get get a free extra element on it and not many people use it.
What about electric and viral? I mean, with two emerald shards he already armor strips, since all the enemies get smooshed on top of him, with electricity to hit all of them every second and with each second increasing the amount of procs, with viral increasing the damage of the electricity procs and with corrosive from his abilities removing their armor seems to me like the key to success on the genocide field
You can use green shards for corrosive heat setups, but generally I would recommend just going Mecha, because when spamming sandstorm, you can't use any other abilities or your weapons anyways. The Mecha Set itself is significantly stronger than any other weapons or bringing Corrosive Heat Sandstorm to deal with overguard due to how the status calculation for it works. You can get rid of his 1 or 4, it doesn't really matter. I just like his 1 for crowd control if needed. The Scarab Swarm also only ticks 2 times per second, and takes 5+ seconds to full strip by itself, so the Sandstorm would still strip much faster if you set it to Corrosive Heat melee stat stick.
What would your thoughts be on replacing the 1 with roar and involving his new 4 into the build? I know it means adding some health so the corrosive procs are higher and adding green shards, but I think the stripping mixed in with the added survivability of higher health would make up for the less strength. Just not sure how to fix the energy with this.
Did you do any testing with gas? It was my first thought with a grouping tool that applies status, but im not sure how the clouds wilould work in motion
The problem is Gas being capped to 10 stacks, and the clouds not actually dealing that much damage themselves. It *can* work, but generally slash vs armor and toxin vs unarmored/corpus is more consistent. Enemies can easily reach 80-100 Slash procs on the 75% slash weight setup. This means Gas would be missing about 70-90 procs due to the cap, which is somewhat mitigated by enemy density, but now you HAVE to pick up enough enemies for it to work.
Hope you're doing good man. I don't usually hear that many pauses in your videos. Hope you're getting enough rest and the script was just a bit hard to read out
Thank you :) This one was actually unscripted and just going by memory from what I recalled on build mechanics. The biggest difference is the scripted ones, I actually cut out all the breaths and pauses. Usually the recording is closer to this before I clean it.
@@Aznvasions I've never noticed the edits. Your vids are always so polished and well done. Love this one too btw, you're usually the only one to drop niche or overlooked ideas like this.
can do the same. This also works with Dorrclave, both are treated as innately 100% slash. volatile could probably be replaced with a range mod if you're worried about landing the heavy on something consistently without whiffing.
Just tried this, I guess he wanted to use Glaive for Acolytes / Eximus in case the procs weren't enough, but Dorrclave is a lot better because 100% pure slash base, and since the ability only checks weights, you can just put viral on it and not even have to forma/catalyst it. I just tossed a rank 0 Vicious Frost and Virulent Scourge on mine and it worked better than any other weight I tried. Useless as a weapon as a result though.
If you played this to where you intentionally took a little bit of damage in between sandstorms, could you swap out Umbral Intensify for Archon? Since Sandstorm heals you, it fits the criteria for the Archon mod, which would give you even more ability strength to pump into the next roar and sandstorm. Rinse and repeat.
So I only have a rank 3 energize, but I can't seem to get this build going when I enter a mission. It's all well and good in the simulacrun where energy orbs are readily available to start the roar/sandstorm spam but I can at max get one roar, one sandstorm, and then I'm a sitting duck while all of my heals are unusable and I can't be invisible due to having to fight with weapons to hopefully get an energy orb. Once the energy starts coming in, no problem. But so far, most missions I just die over and over at the beginning because we have 2k health and no other survivability on the build. This is just my personal experience using Madurai school. If there's anyway besides using pizzas to get it started, please let me know I'd love any advice in case I'm doing something wrong
I am having SO much fun playing a tornado kidnap build with Inaros with a Khora in team. I just kidnap everything right into the cage of death and then all the loot just piles in the center for us to be lazy and farm iron path defense easily to 30+ rounds.
Either can work, comes down to if you have a use for them. I kept his 1 just for the blind if needed, but both are up to you. His 4 requires 7 seconds to full strip an enemy it touches.
I actually don't use sandstorm augment I use sandstorm as a grouping ability I subsumed breach surge over his 1 cast that than cast his 4 and will melt the enemies I actually found this build more nuke than the sandstorm spin build
It doesn't, unfortunately, proc order goes by top-bottom from what is listed in the arsenal. Kind of annoying, but we can't do anything about it. If you mean changing the cycling amount, so that half the procs are viral instead and appear mid-cycle instead of end-cycle? In theory this can work to kill base SP sooner, but would also work against you for Endurance from losing out on slash procs. Since they die relatively easily on base SP, I'd rather just go slightly higher duration for longer travel and ease of grouping for use everywhere.
It IS a bug that they aren't properly showing efficiency and alterered helminth ability stats in the modding page right? Also, elemental ward is hilarious right now.
Yes, it's a bug, and makes things rather annoying to calculate. Luckily, the Ability preview screen in the arsenal still shows the correct energy values.
@@Aznvasions Yeah it really is a pain, I did recently notice the ability preview scan thing though. Can't imagine the amount of back and forth for these videos.
Works really well, both vitality and continuity get a lot of value, in my testing Silva and aegis is better with archon vitality than dorclave is, just due to the insane amount of heat procs
It's pretty bad. Your status infliction rate isn't high enough. His 4 can build corrosive stacks during Sandstorm, but the stacking is so slow the enemies are already dead from viral/slash before the armor is gone.
Tbh I'm not to keen on the change to sandstorm as changing it to a duration based as I prefer it when it was a channelled ability as I was using hunter adrenaline combined with gloom as I could stay in sandstorm infinity as the incoming damage kept my energy up and health regen and with molt augmented and arcane blessing with a ton of health and and 3 tauforged crimson shards for ability strength and 2 tauforged for additional health so you can probably imagine how good it was prior to the pointless rework as Im a long time veteran player
How about Gas? You have free grouping, procs, and your 4 can reduce enemy armor, so why not get an innate Viral weapon (of which there are several options) and mod it for Gas?
lacks viral scaling, so works really well against unarmored, but falls flat against armored. Armored needs either a lot of dps + viral, or armor strip, in conjunction with what is shown, to work if not using slash.
that works perfectly. If you have a galatine lying around, that also works. Due to Quantization, Galatine is treated as 100% slash with 0 impact and puncture. Of course, if you have neither, I'd recommend picking up Dorrclave, because it feels better to use as an actual melee if you need it, and has other niche uses as a unique status stat stick for Khora/Gara/Atlas when looking at rivenless setups. It's the best status stat stick outside of Incarnons and rivens. Glaive was only picked because of dispatch overdrive.
Glaive was for Dispatch Overdrive. Quantization treats Galatine as 100% slash with 0 impact and puncture. It's a more obscure thing though, so it's understandable most don't know why Galatine was used for this in the past.
Damn this would've been even more insane with gas and pillage, but alas you can't cast pillage during sandstorm. I got the build. Probably not 100% optimized, but it comes close. The augment works with melee exposure, so you can use green shards to strip. The weighting is kind of low tho and it still takes a bit to strip, so you want the lowest possible weighting on gas and electric. I'm using plague kripath because it has innate viral, so I build gas, electric, viral, and corrosive effectively.
It can, but now you have 200% Corrosive on the build diluting your gas procs. You would probably have to run a lower rank variant and it could work, so that the corrosive isn't as overpowering on weight.

you probably already know but you can bind keys to do those emotes
If I go for Galatine which mods should I use, same build? what mod do I use instead of Volatile QR
can do the same. This also works with Dorrclave, both are treated as innately 100% slash. volatile could probably be replaced with a range mod if you're worried about landing the heavy on something consistently without whiffing.

My good tenno, Do you have any good builds for the new incarnons coming soon?
what about using the dorrclave for the pure slash and viral?
Just tried this, I guess he wanted to use Glaive for Acolytes / Eximus in case the procs weren't enough, but Dorrclave is a lot better because 100% pure slash base, and since the ability only checks weights, you can just put viral on it and not even have to forma/catalyst it. I just tossed a rank 0 Vicious Frost and Virulent Scourge on mine and it worked better than any other weight I tried. Useless as a weapon as a result though.
amazing. the king stays winning
You can't just say "16 times the damage" without meme'ing Todd Howard.
to have only slash and viral you can use doraclave since its pure slash
Could you make this work with melee influence, since this will force proc electricity?
Oh, enduring affliction mod? Is that one good to use as well??
What if i mainly fight Murmur (which are strong against bleed)?
One of the kubrows have the skill dig. The kubrow will dig up energy orbs for you after a short while at the start of a mission.
You can always use an energy pad in the beginning if this is a problem.
I am having SO much fun playing a tornado kidnap build with Inaros with a Khora in team. I just kidnap everything right into the cage of death and then all the loot just piles in the center for us to be lazy and farm iron path defense easily to 30+ rounds.
Also, I have found using mods that gives you energy for taking HP damage makes it almost infinite energy which frees up flow.
Dumbest build in a while and I'm loving it! Finally we got the sand god we truly needed.
Which archon shards would you recommend running?
Hey great video! I do have a question, why sacrifice his 4th for roar and not his 1st ability. Wouldnt his 4rth be better?
Either can work, comes down to if you have a use for them. I kept his 1 just for the blind if needed, but both are up to you. His 4 requires 7 seconds to full strip an enemy it touches.
Can you share what you have on with Madurai please ty
Thoughts on the Nidus augment?
12:32 someone make an Aznvasions remix pls
Would dorrclave be a good melee choice? since it has only slash
I actually don't use sandstorm augment I use sandstorm as a grouping ability I subsumed breach surge over his 1 cast that than cast his 4 and will melt the enemies I actually found this build more nuke than the sandstorm spin build
Dagath weapon is 100% slash, will that be better? Dorclave i think
If you increase the viral weight, won't the first few viral procs appear earlier letting you take off some of that duration?
It doesn't, unfortunately, proc order goes by top-bottom from what is listed in the arsenal. Kind of annoying, but we can't do anything about it. If you mean changing the cycling amount, so that half the procs are viral instead and appear mid-cycle instead of end-cycle? In theory this can work to kill base SP sooner, but would also work against you for Endurance from losing out on slash procs. Since they die relatively easily on base SP, I'd rather just go slightly higher duration for longer travel and ease of grouping for use everywhere.
Can u run this without cubrow?. For circet for example
You can, but it will have problems against Thrax, specifically, and will need a separate weapon to kill them.
@@Aznvasions thank you for replying!!! U are the best!!!
Can you please make a new video about styanax ? Any new synergy ?
Excuse me, I have a question: how do you obtain invisibility in game?
huras kubrow unique mod for it called stalk
Am I not supposed to run a maxed ranked adaptation? Just curious.
Is there anyone out there asking for moves to be imbued with corrosive?
What elements should i build if i would do an fissure? Try to mix some toxin or stay slash and viral?
slash+viral works fine
Slash + Viral and maybe have Miter as primary weapon for nullifiers.
why not have archon stretch instead of flow
can i use kronen prime with this build
?
It IS a bug that they aren't properly showing efficiency and alterered helminth ability stats in the modding page right? Also, elemental ward is hilarious right now.
Yes, it's a bug, and makes things rather annoying to calculate. Luckily, the Ability preview screen in the arsenal still shows the correct energy values.
@@Aznvasions Yeah it really is a pain, I did recently notice the ability preview scan thing though. Can't imagine the amount of back and forth for these videos.
please make a guide about the new slam damage modding.'🥺
How does it work with Archon Mods along with Elemental Sandstorm?
Works really well, both vitality and continuity get a lot of value, in my testing Silva and aegis is better with archon vitality than dorclave is, just due to the insane amount of heat procs
Does it work to use nourish + corrosive-heat doorclave instead of roar. Also, you could use arcane aracne for more damage
It's pretty bad. Your status infliction rate isn't high enough. His 4 can build corrosive stacks during Sandstorm, but the stacking is so slow the enemies are already dead from viral/slash before the armor is gone.
Does healing return work with this?
Yo whats the name of the song during the intro?
Tbh I'm not to keen on the change to sandstorm as changing it to a duration based as I prefer it when it was a channelled ability as I was using hunter adrenaline combined with gloom as I could stay in sandstorm infinity as the incoming damage kept my energy up and health regen and with molt augmented and arcane blessing with a ton of health and and 3 tauforged crimson shards for ability strength and 2 tauforged for additional health so you can probably imagine how good it was prior to the pointless rework as Im a long time veteran player
Is this affected by melee elementalist
Do bane mods affect fhe slash damage?
How about Gas? You have free grouping, procs, and your 4 can reduce enemy armor, so why not get an innate Viral weapon (of which there are several options) and mod it for Gas?
4 is bad at actually full stripping, he said it takes like 7 seconds to full strip reliably
What about elecrtic and gas? since they pull together it should work?
lacks viral scaling, so works really well against unarmored, but falls flat against armored. Armored needs either a lot of dps + viral, or armor strip, in conjunction with what is shown, to work if not using slash.
Poggers build
Melee Exposure works on Sandstorm too
Forces you to go corrosive heat pretty much tho, so then you may as well spec into the armor stripping with 2 greens
I have 2 greens but im still on Slash viral@@Requilith
Spin to win
would dorrclave be better for a pure viral slash build?
that works perfectly.
Can someone tell me what sigil this is on Inaros shoulders?
Tethra's Doom Quantum Emblem. No longer obtainable, was a 2014 Leaderboard reward. Closest now is Ki'teer Sekhara, which Baro brings occasionally.
Swap the Umbral Intensify for Archon Intensify.
u can use dorclave so u only have slash and viral
Glaive was for Dispatch Overdrive. Quantization treats Galatine as 100% slash with 0 impact and puncture. It's a more obscure thing though, so it's understandable most don't know why Galatine was used for this in the past.
what if i dont have the same type of dog?
Any dog can work, it’s just invis one is least likely to die
Damn this would've been even more insane with gas and pillage, but alas you can't cast pillage during sandstorm.
I got the build. Probably not 100% optimized, but it comes close. The augment works with melee exposure, so you can use green shards to strip. The weighting is kind of low tho and it still takes a bit to strip, so you want the lowest possible weighting on gas and electric. I'm using plague kripath because it has innate viral, so I build gas, electric, viral, and corrosive effectively.
I have literally no clue how esand works and haven’t watched the rest of the vid but what about 2 green corrosive gas? Does it give both elements ?
@@RavlinWasTaken the problem here becomes, how would you get corrosive gas?
would that melee arcane that gives corrosive on ability cast work?
Would Caustacyst do it?
It can, but now you have 200% Corrosive on the build diluting your gas procs. You would probably have to run a lower rank variant and it could work, so that the corrosive isn't as overpowering on weight.
