sorry for extremely quiet audio you can also use the new aura mod Worthy Comradery to push this further. if you really want to maximize the scaled crit from the mod, run worthy comradery on a crit frame using Arcane Avenger and an Adarza Kavat. slot in galvanized scope for some bonus crit on headshots.
I love this silly mod. Been just messing in sim trying different weapons with acuity. very fun to run around on Trinity with all sorts of rifles doing insane crits and basmu really surprised me
absolutely agree with the trinity pick! been loving the basmu though, it was already a gun i enjoyed quite a bit but the new mods and arcanes really boosted it to new heights
if you can show me the alt fire killing a level 150+ heavy gunner in less than 5 seconds without relying super heavily on frame buffs i will literally pay you plat
@ Believe it or not, it would be pretty easy with a max rank Arcane Avenger (which I do not have). I use Harrow but the buff is pretty close to the arcane’s if I remember correctly. The flat crit chance on the alt fire is beautiful; the base crit damage multiplier is ridiculous. I’m sure someone who’s better at buildcrafting than me could optimize it.
@0ddxty harrow is 50% on body 200% on headshots, avenger is 45% on everything, but yeah, it *works* but like, with the same build i use for that i just shoot their head twice and they die in a quarter of the time. its decent but its more or less a "value" thing, and i moreso meant doing it without frame buffs, otherwise literally anything can do that, even the hated stug
@ I may have misspoken. I use Harrow as a substitute for Arcane Avenger. The alt fire can’t really hit headshots (sometimes it can on the initial target) so the values would be the same-ish. When I play it, I use normal fire to charge up the stacks of my conditional buffs (on kill and whatnot) and then use the alt fire to clear rooms. I’ll swap between both firing modes, usually using the normal fire for overguard and the alt for everything else. It doesn’t really need many frame buffs to feel good to use, but they definitely do help. In my opinion, the normal mode is best for single target and the alt is best for add clear.

something to consider in these builds; basmu is one of the guns that has multiplicative co as well (galv. apt and primary merciless multiply instead of add)
They changed the term from headshot to weakpoint because some enemies' weakpoint isn't their head, or they don't even have a head. Most of the time though it is.
1. Show the result at the beginning of the video so that it has more retention from the start and people don't waste their time if they are not interested in the result. 2. Buffs when changing a build (which is equivalent to changing a weapon) become only visual and do not work, so there is no point in changing it. 3. Understand that the cut is dead, it is no longer effective at all, the update with increasing HP killed it, there is no need to show it to people again and again so that they copy it and promote it to the masses.

so it seems primary acuity is working multiplicatively on some weapons and it seems basmu, stahlta are one in the list.
Kuva chakkhurr and phenmor too
Given that the weapons you two listed it could just be multiplicative on projectile-based weapons much like Galvanized Aptitude is.

Oh it does work absolutely wonderfully on the chakkhur.
Thanks for bringing this light didn’t think about using it on this gun
How do you know which weapons are multiplicative with primary acuity?

at the bottom of the page, under the Bugs section, you can see a list

Finally
Someone else mentioning the not hit 0 mag trick
I have a feeling crux without multishot isn't the best synergy, but it works great. Good build, nice video.

I love the Basmu. Recently bought a riven because i like the weapon a lot.

if your build needs a riven it's probably terrible
but it didnt need the riven?
notice how i showed a riven build and a non riven build, and offered some advice for modding to maximize crit, regardless of riven
