It's always a pleasure to watch a properly built K series. I do especially love the N/A stuff just because i feel that's all you need on a FWD setup. Yea, a turbo K series can easily put out 400-500 horsepower but that's only good in a straight line on drag slicks.
The issue I see is that's a 10-12k usd engine to make less than 300whp. A cheap small turbo would've been making 300-350whp with just supporting fuel and been just as reliable for about 2-3k
@@andruwmartinez4129 No doubt, its always going to be cheaper to make power with a turbo. But you can build a decent performing K series for a lot cheaper than the guy in this video. If you're trying to bling every part out and buy the most expensive components like the guy in the video, yea it adds up.
@@andruwmartinez4129 Turbo is heavier and way more difficult for the Temps. K Series and turbo in a fwd makes 0 sense! Drivability was nearly perfekt. no turbo in the word cant beat this!

N/A might be more expensive, but it will give a different power response, turbo, no matter if its small, will always have a lag behind an action, the faster you driving the more prominent it is going to be. @@andruwmartinez4129

In my honest opinion this is the best EG K swap i ever see.. the engine reving sweet, gearbox is sleek, and looking at how confident misha drove it in the corners the chassis tuning is also must be good.. wow, totally enjoy watching this video.. Oh, and also the owner is wonderful and you've built a very nice car.. 👍
Misha, that was an awesome lap! Was so nice to see you engaged in some friendly, but serious competition. Fantastic footwork, shifting and driving! You obviously know that track well. EG , and DA integra's are my favorite chassis. owned both , and regret selling both. weren't even anything special , but so much fun to drive. and the K series is such a great platform to work off engine wise.
Biggest regret is selling my old DA6 about 15 years back - chassis was totally sorted, and really just needed the K-Swap to make into my dream car - funds weren't there at the time though! There's a few much slower and less skilled old Cadwell laps on my channel 😂

Misha you should really build a K series. Like we have been waiting so long, it is also a very good business decision, think about the content, the planning, the build, the setting it up, the testing it, the laps, improving the laps. Really, it's what this channel needs. The one thing that is missing really! :D ;)

@@DaEVOthefreak
Small turbo gives you perfect drivabilty. That's the same as a Golf GTI-R or any modern hot hatch, Temps are completely manageable just needs quality parts not ebay special.
I'm saying power-dollar ratio for na is terrible for the k series especially when you're building a leisure car not a specific class car
N/A might be more expensive, but it will give a different power response, turbo, no matter if its small, will always have a lag behind an action, the faster you driving the more prominent it is going to be. @@andruwmartinez4129
11 months old and this is still one of my favorite videos on TH-cam.
You guys who get to do here are living the dream!! Really hoping to get out there one year! Love you reactions of you still enjoying it after years and countless laps
This must be one of the best incar laps you have done Misha! 😁 So amazing and so much emotions 🤩
Gave me goosebumps! You are an UNREAL Driver!!! that M3 was shaking in his boots lol!
Pretty awesome that a car with this level of performance is avaliable to us regular guys, its a dream to drive a porsche at full noise but id be really proud having one of these in the garage as well. The K series is still the gold standard for na 4 cylinders after 20 years
Ive been watching you for years. You perfect yourself and driving every time you run the berg. 🏆
The car guy talk was so wholesome, felt like you guys could go out for some food and a beer after the lap and just have a good time tbh, make a new friend :)
I've watched so many laps of yours, Misha. This has to be the most, or one of the most intense laps I've seen you do. This is why I want a K24 in my E30. I have a B18 4dr double wishbone Honda, but I'm giving that to my son. Great job, and great car!
Vtec kicked in yo! What a beast! Picks up speed also very very good! Oh yeah, did I mention how much I like the sound...? Thx for sharing Misha!
just seeing the smile of the car owner on each breaking point , blipping and acceleration make my day. pretty awesome :)
The long convo is the best part of the video, just two car nuts having a good talk.
What a race Misha! One of the best for passenger and for your subscribers! This cas has an amazing sound and possibilities. Excellentl!!!!😊
In jamaica we would call this a MACHIINNEE 🔥🔥🔥 Misha driving as well , that BMW driver must be like " wtf"
Cheers man i really appreciate that
This is the definition of “full send” with epic precision. Great engine, nice gearbox…. Bravo! Bring us more Honda gems!!
Все видео молча просмотрел, с зажатыми кулаками) Крутая хонда, респект хозяину!
You know Misha is exited to drive something when the driving shoes come out 😊
Incredible build! its amazing how fast it revs, you were at 9k in a split second out of the gate!
Misha, that was an awesome lap! Was so nice to see you engaged in some friendly, but serious competition. Fantastic footwork, shifting and driving! You obviously know that track well. How many times have you lapped the Nurburgring in your life? Both of you looked like your adrenaline was pumping and you were having a blast. Again, hats off to your driving prowess! Also, I love to see the common respect, polish and professionalism all the drivers exhibit there. Hope you went and enjoyed a nice glass of your favorite wine after that perfect lap! 🍷
Probably he ate a pancake.
Best video of 2023. Amazing build, amazing footwork and amazing driving. Absolutely love it. Car chat at the end brilliant.🎉
What a sound ! Thats a real car ! The engine is alive, you can feel it in the vidéo i can't even imagine in real life. Simply eargasmic.
Redline 99.9% of the time! Awesome drive!
Absolutely amazing, these ek and eg vids have been unreal. Misha definitely needs to get his own
Крутая, захватывающая гонка! БМВ явно не ожидал такого цивика!
Another driving masterclass from Misha! Great video!
My favourite video so far. Great lap, great chat. Couldn't ask for more
EG , and DA integra's are my favorite chassis. owned both , and regret selling both. weren't even anything special , but so much fun to drive. and the K series is such a great platform to work off engine wise.
Biggest regret is selling my old DA6 about 15 years back - chassis was totally sorted, and really just needed the K-Swap to make into my dream car - funds weren't there at the time though! There's a few much slower and less skilled old Cadwell laps on my channel 😂
@@boma23 i had a 95 cx EG with D15B from a JDM Del Sol SIR i believe , was a later silver top single stage vtec . and EX trans and basic bolt ons , chipped p28 . id guess 2002/3 or so . think the G35 and Supercharged mini coopers just came out here in the US , and i was dogging on them . again , nothing too modified. but fun. and i had 2 DA's , 92 and 94 . 92 was auto , 94 was manual . an i shared an 86 integra with the dohc 1.6 that was fun. but nothing like the DA's . K swap in either is super fun , particularly if youd turbo them . i had to sell a few other cars too over time to gather $ , i feel you . i had a VH45de in an s13 240sx with a Z32 trans , really regret selling it . and a 240sx coupe with silvia conversion. im okay now. have a drift specific R32 , R33 GTR , and a pretty heavily modified YZ125 dirt bike . 2014 dodge charger R/T that's nicely packaged and performs well for what it is.
This engine revving sounds like a f**ing motorbike omg, k24 frank its the best choice, amazing build , amazing sound, amazing drive again as usual Misha, love this honda vids, the sound, just asmr goodness 😁😁😁
Quite possibly the best video I’ve watched on the channel to date! Really makes me want another K series.. owner is a top man, knows his stuff by sound of him talking, it was great to hear more conversation about the car than other videos too. Excellent driving Misha but dam you for making me think about Hondas again 😂😂😂
Incredible footwork. He squeezes the car to the last. Bravo!!!
Great car, lovely sounds, and having driven an eg9 with a k-series recently, I just know how raw that lap was! Misha just SHINES after the first carousel but that beemer was absolute BOOKING it. Felt like I was watching one of those Malaysian touge videos 🤩
Vladimir VTEC always deliver 🚀 This car look a blast to drive, insane. Owner is a cool lad too !
Awesome session. The number of emotions Misha went through starting at 4:38 is unreal. The joys of that naturally aspirated VTEC motor.
EG + K20 = Pure Joy and Misha's face proved it 😂😂😂.
What an awesome lap❤
24 mate :)
I have a 106 Rallye 1.6cc 16v and my friend has a Honda vti k20,when I took my car it was completely stock, after a month i change exhaust and filter so the Honda is behind my car when we racing but man i love how Hondas screaming what a machine,i love my car but this sound......!(Sorry for my English).Misha you are the man!Love from Greece
her: do you even have emotions?
me: tears of happiness just watching this
Misha you should really build a K series. Like we have been waiting so long, it is also a very good business decision, think about the content, the planning, the build, the setting it up, the testing it, the laps, improving the laps. Really, it's what this channel needs. The one thing that is missing really! :D ;)
Agreed, if he did a series of build- add parts- lap and see the difference the upgrades made it'd easily be one of the best channels on the platform
I love these videos where Misha is driving a properly sorted analogue car and locks on a target car and goes for it
Очень эмоциальная гонка, молодец Михаил!
I always find myself coming back to watch this video again and again. Love it
Good to see. I love Honda. I've had K, B, H and D series. I've driven just about everything except for the J series. Nothing sounds as good as a VTEC engine to me.
