I go over almost all of the basics in that video from the proper strategies to dealing with mobs, some really helpful tips for looting up during your run so you can get a bunch of upgrades for your gear and an entire inventory of treasure and items from each run, all the way to the end of raid extraction related mechanics on the goblin caves such as the violent shaking that does damage to everyone still on the raid and ALL of the static extract locations outlined/highlighted by color depending on their type (Rope, Stairs, elevator, blue portal) on a screenshot of the map so you know where to go to extract when that timer starts getting closer to 0! :D Thanks so much for the support on this video so far guys, yall are killing it! I'm not new but wanted to kinda see the meta and this is pretty accurate! Nice vid man!

Glad I could help! :) Ill probably make a fresh tier list for solos here within the week or so, but for the time being I do have a tier list from a few weeks ago that is pretty similar to what the meta is right now. I would just drop Warlock from S to like B and I would move Bard from like B to A or S. I think everything else should be roughly similar, maybe Ranger would also go from A to B.

i fucking love the hand crossbow but i wish other classes could use it, cleric has almost no ranged options, and (this is gonna piss off u druid 1 tricks) after the druid nerf i hope they allow the hand crossbow since dreamfire deals lackluster damage
Just picked up the game and tried out bard not knowing how to play my songs lol, switched to cleric, but I might go back to the bard tunes. Nice short intro for each class

Thats awesome! I played a bunch of pathfinders and Dungeons and Dragons going up so yeah this game has been amazing for me ever since I started playing it! Good luck on your ranger journeys! I will warn you that ranger can be a little tough to start out on if youre doing solos but not impossible by any means, if youre doing duos or trios though youll be golden! :)
rogue with 1 hand crossbow and 1 dagger seems to be nice with poison passive and bleed active skill
100%! It’s kind of rough when starting out with rogue but their best build right now is probably what you said but you also put another hand crossbow in your second weapon set, so it’ll be rondel dagger + hand crossbow for primary and then just a hand crossbow for secondary, that way you can shoot both of them at someone and if you hit both you can usually go in for the kill depending on the class but you can also just run away and reload both and do it over and over again 😂
So I downloaded DaD today and played with friends. So far I'm loving the game, however I picked wizard as my first ever class and I feel like it's super hard to actually do damage consistently because my casts are so long and they slow your movement speed so you die form mobs. Any tips?
Hey I had a question. I remember playing this game before on steam before it was taken down, I can't seem to find the minimap zone and it seems like we just die unless we escape before the clock counts down. Is this a new system or are we just missing something?
This is a new system, I actually cover it in my video thats coming out tomorrow titled "How to survive your first dungeon" That gives a ton of tips and valuable info. Long story short though, if youre on GC or Frost caves there is no zone anymore and strictly static extracts around the map so you have to know where they are/find them. Look for the blue stairs or blue ropes on your minimap. The video tomorrow shows where all of them are though :)
You can also go to darkanddarker.map.spellsandguns.com/map/IceCavern-01-N - and set it to Goblin Caves 04 and look at where the stairs extracts are but this map is missing everything they added when they got rid of the zone such as the rope extracts and the static blue portal spawns but thatll all be in the video tomorrow!
as a wizard, what is the difference between casting spells with the book or casting spells with the staff ?
Hey Jagger! The main difference is that the magic staff has a higher movement speed penalty than the spellbook while youre holding it so youll be moving slower but it also makes the spell do a little bit more damage than the spellbook as well. The only other difference is very minute and not really well documented but the actual process of releasing the spell (So once the spell is fully charged and you actually let the spell go) is also a bit slower than the spell book, the spell book has the quickest release time of all the magic weapons.

For the bard, are spells tied to a different instrument? Meaning you would have to change to the correct instrument to use a specific spell?
Yessir, each spell is tied to one of four instruments which means its a good idea to order your songs in your spell wheels and line that up with the order of your instruments on your belt slots so its easy to rotate them. @@VinisKitchen22 Thanks, watching that part now. Do you just always run the spells in the same order? Like spells are not for a specific situation, you just cast them all together in a row?
@@kead6636 I always cast my buffs in the same order and usually have the majority of those on my right side spell wheel. However, certain songs are for specfiic situations such as debuff songs for enemies or the song that unlocks doors and chests as an example, I usually put those more situational songs on my left wheel. :)

Cleric for Sure, or if you want a demonic version go for warlock. Warlocks have a perk that allows them to wear plate armor as well.

i wanna be a healer any good suggestions like cleric over druid or druid over cleric??
Since druid is so new its hard to say but they are both 100% good in team play! I think druid as people get better with it could end up being better than cleric, but its hard to say right now. Neither of them are bad though thats for sure :)
Ill just quickly add that if you want more burst heals youre definitely going to want to go with cleric and if youre comfortable with using heal over time effects and want to learn how to use them properly to be the most efficient than thats what druid excels at, druid I believe is probably also more capable in combat than cleric but once again cant say with 100% certainty.
@@VinisKitchen22 Thank you for your suggestions!! i made a druid in the end because that seemed to fit my playstyle the most of having basic healing that is good but also good in pvp so thank you
@@bluedarkness6908 No problem at all! Yeah druid seems really strong, they did make some changes in the patch today but I think it will still be good although I havent tested it yet

True, but at least from my perspective the game is easily worth $30 for the replay ability value and how easy it is to happily sink thousands of hours into the game and still want to keep playing 😂
