I forgot to mention in the video, you can Rest by hitting G which will restore your "grey health" this is also the way you heal at campfires. You have to place the campfire first and then hit g to rest by them :)

Ive been playing this whole time not realizing i should just leave one dagger off my base gear for more move speed bc it's not adding stats 😂 ty bro
No problem brotha! And yep that is completely right, if you’re playing rogue which is what I assume you are then eventually you can consider getting a hand crossbow in your second hand with +add weapon damage which will not only give you the utility of the hand crossbow but also increase the damage of the dagger in your main hand :)
But other than that combo I would always just run a single dagger :)

Hi! Super new player here so in regards to the extracts, now that there is no longer a circle do blue portals still spawn in, or is is just the static extracts that are available? Also once a static extract is used does it ever become active again? How long does it take for static extracts to become available and can you tell if an extract has already been used vs hasn't been activated yet?
Hey Plong! Blue portals still spawn, but in static locations each map (no longer random) check out 12:57 for a map with ALL of the extraction locations available (they are also color coded so you know what youre looking for when you get there).
Once a static is used it will never become available again except for the elevator in the very middle tile of the map. Almost all of the static extracts on the map become available around 2/3's of the way through the match lining up almost perfectly with when the map very first begins to shake violently.
You can tell if a static has been taken typically, for the gated stairs if you look up the stairs and you see a bunch of rocks at the top of the stairs where it looks like the roof collapsed its been taken. For the ropes if its deep into the match and the rope is not anywhere to be seen its been taken. The blue portals willl sometimes spawn as a group of 3 all right next to each other so if you ever see just two or one blue portal then its possible/likely that someone already took the others.

@@plong3999 No problem! Currently within the goblin caves the only multiple person extract is the elevator in the very middle tile, as many people that can fit on the elevator can all get lifted up and extracted at the same time. So if you make a friend in the match you can both clear out the middle room together and ride the elevator together as well. All of the other extracts are single use; however, the static blue portal spawns sometimes spawn as a group of 3 so there will be 3 one use portal stones all right next to each other.
Is there a recommended place to see updated maps? All i can find is for numbered locations which seems old.
Unfortunately I dont believe there is a super updated version of maps, the most updated one I am aware of is this website darkanddarker.map.spellsandguns.com/map/GoblinCave-04-N
Goblin Caves is always Goblin Caves 04 right now - I also show all of the extract locations with a screenshot of the map in this video in case you need it. Crypts currently has all 6 variants in rotation so you can be on any of those maps in any given game and Ice caves just has one layout same as goblin caves, hope this helped :)

Thanks for the informative guide! I've got a few questions:
1) Is it possible to drown in this game by staying underwater too long?
2) Does water impact move and attack speed?
3) Is there a way to tell if a chest is a mimic vs regular chest without looking up a map guide?
4) What should we spend the acquired gold on as a general rule?

No problem! Glad I could help :D
1.) it is not possible to drown currently that I’ve ever experienced.
2.) Most water does not but there is some certain spots of greenish looking slime water that does slow you down a ton.
3.) There is no way to tell currently, also even map guides won’t tell you because it’s just randomized. Each game different chests around the map will be mimics.
4.) Generally I would start by saving gold up a little bit but for gear from the marketplace which my gear and stats video is coming out tomorrow but outside of that you should definitely be buying additional consumables from both the alchemist and the surgeon merchants. The better your gear is the more consumables you should bring in to even out the investment and risk. In normal goblin caves matches I like to bring in roughly 6 health potions and 6 bandages even though I rarely use them for just regular mobs and what not but they are crucial for PVP, for spellcasters with limited spell uses campfires from the woodsman are also very good because they restore your spells very quickly.
Other than that you can always think about picking up your preferred weapon from the weapon smith if you want but I usually wouldn’t recommend it since eventually you’re squire will be able to provide you any equippable weapon you like.

3. No they are random, I don’t think the map would work for them either.
4. Typically you’ll spend your first gold on healing consumables that can help you make it through more dungeons. When you got the gold you can start buying gear from other players or the traders. You can buy upgraded stash space as well.
Do the quests for the traders because each completed quest unlocks more things you can buy from them. Including gear that is green or blue rarity.

Yeah I just watched TheLorr's video on it and its kind of crazy to me tbh... I think the game is worth more than $30 honestly and they are a small company I could be wrong but I dont think they have the manpower to create the game, provide live updates, AND create a bunch of shiny cosmetics that would allow them to have an inflow of money so they could make the game actually free to play while still monetizing it in some way.
@@VinisKitchen22 i'm sure they could manage to monetize skins since their skins are all just flipped unreal engine marketplace assets. i think the fact that they don't have a purchase option through steam is shady... you have to upgrade through an in game purchase through a 3rd party site completely avoiding steams 30% cut, steams refund policy, regional pricing and then locking people who do upgrade out of their purchase for 72 hours just to ensure they have no refund option. all of that seems very NEXON of ironmace!
@@VinisKitchen22 The developers should just give players the option to purchase the game through Steam itself, and call the free version a trial.
@@ripdoff8549 Personally I dont think anybody would be paying for flipped unreal engine marketplace assets I guess is what I shouldve clarified, they dont have a team like fortnite that is just pumping out the most ludicrous looking skins every 5 days or whatever the case is in that game. I wasnt aware that they didnt have a purchase option through steam which I suppose I can see the frustration there since there is no refund option through steam. As for the 72 hours deal I personally assume that is to limit cheaters that are paricipating in RMT (Real Money Trading) being able to just re-purchase the game and immediately start cheating once they get banned, but you could be right that its to avoid refund potential which I can see the frustration with that. Butttt, I feel like most games arent refundable except for the ones you get on steam due to steams refund policy, for instance if you purchase some new Call Of Duty I imagine youre not going to be able to refund that typically.
@@SiigonisRU Yeah that seems fair enough, I personally still wouldnt call it a free trial though since you get to play almost the entirety of the game indefinitely for free. Also most people dont realize how much of the population of the game exclusively plays normals even though they have access to HR haha :)
where is crypts escapes?
You can find most of the static extracts on these maps darkanddarker.map.spellsandguns.com/map/Crypt-01-N
keep in mind that crypts has 6 different layouts that you can possibly get when you load into the game though so try to use your minimap and then compare it to the maps on that site to figure out which layout you got and then you can find the extracts from there. Also keep in mind that this map isnt fully updated to the really recent stuff so there could be additional blue portal static spawns now that Im not yet aware of. I recommend hitting the request a knight button in the lobby screen which will get you added to a discord that has a ton of useful guides and I know there is one that does include all of the updated methods of extracting for crypts as well :D
